We're sorry Gary. It was aimed more at the folks who dislike the FaWTL crew than yourself. I, among others, honestly thought that you were on to us from the start. We're sorry if it caused you any duress, you're a helluva guy and we respect you. But anyway, to everyone who was happy to see us go.... April Fools. :/

They made me do it! ;)

Well, I am outta here folks (not permanently or anything-it's Saturday and I gotta lotta work to do).

Besides my nerdrage meter is too high. I gotta go relax and calm myself before I pop a blood vessel or something.

See, now I feel bad. Sorry for the distress PMG, Sara Monster. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing. Our intention was certainly not to upset two of our favorite Paizonians.

As they say, "Seemed like a good idea at the time"...

I wish they would hurry up and wake up so that they can forgive us. I hate the tension. Stupid different time zones.

Sooooo tired.

Ever since I've been going to bed at a reasonable hour instead of staying up all night (which is one of the main reasons for my spotty posting), I find I get tireder a lot easier.

2.30am now and I'm beat. So bed calls.

Nite All. have Fun!

Sinus infections are a lot more resistant than they used to be to clear out, I'm telling you. Five days in with the prescription meds and while they're doing their job, I can't - for the life of me - unplug my eustachian tubes. Even with my hearing aids on, I can't even hear the garage door open or close to let me know the lil lady has come home from work. And the garage is right next to the great room where I'm usually residing. I have to look toward the animals' reactions to note something's up.

First week of school and it's overwhelming. Doesn't help that I've been ill; bad timing. Got a lot of work to do this weekend after sleeping most of my day away yesterday. Probably a good thing to avoid misconstrued April Fools hi-jinks. :P

Hope things are looking better for you getting more working hours under the belt, buddy. :)

I used to put just as much away ... if not more. But my biological functions ain't the way they used to be ... and that's a good thing.

Speaking of being deprived of things that'll make you cranky ... how's the smoking project going?

As for the sinus issue, have someone tell you a real funny joke while you drink some scotch. Clears out the sinuses REAL good. :S

Sympathies, bro. I've had a major hearing problem in my left ear since the Fall. Total loss on some days. Doc said use decongestants. Didn't work. Went to an ENT; no major help there. He had me on an antihistimine. Finally tired of this, and fearing an ear/sinus infection, I went back to the doc on Wednesday. He told me to keep taking Allegra, but add 30mg Sudafed (NOT the 10mg candy tablets they have in the aisle, the good kind from behind the counter). 3 days later and my hearing is MUCH better, as well as the stuffiness. I haven't felt this good in a while. Can't believe I suffered thru this for so long. *kicks self*

Ps - add in hot, steamy showers and a sinus rinse

I did go out for a short bit last night as the lil lady was craving authentic Mexican, so I ordered myself a top shelf mango margarita in a fishbowl glass. Slept really good when I got home, but too good where she fled the room and slept in another because my sinuses were causing me to snore a racket.

But seriously, no matter how hard I try to plug my nose and blow, I can't pop them. Never has been an issue with me. :S

Doc admonished me for blowing my nose. Seems like when you blow out you're also blowing mucus up into the ear tubes. Blow one nostril at a time and do it GENTLY, and only when absolutely neccessary.

Been taking the btc Sudafed and doubling up on them. I've been doing the neti pot sinus rinse with the saline and then adding the 4-Way spray as a dilution into the mixture so it can containe phenylephrine. And that was BEFORE I saw the doctor.

Right now, I've just taken my fifth day of Z-Pak along with using Flonase and some sort of cough syrup decongestant that contains codeine. Still taking long steamy showers, but the ears? No dice.

Incidentally, the doctor suggested that I may have caused the eustachian tubes to become plugged depending on how I was using the rinse. I didn't add the phenylephrine to the mix until after the ears were plugged.

Seriously, I'd rather be hacking up more phlegm than having my hearing at this rate of loss. It is rather annoying. Especially when I really need it in a classroom environment.

Murphy hates me. :P

I was sure the one with two socks was freaking out about the other one taking off one of his socks, which the second thought was rather funny.
