Ugh, it's New Year's Eve, why does it feel like I have a hangover?
Sweet gaming board Aeglos, wish I had the skills and the room for something similar.
Hard to believe but today is my four-year anniversary of my first post on Paizo. Where TF did all the time go?
Have a good day folks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hee hee!
I knew that would upset you, and I tried to harmlessly derail it in a humorous direction, but, I admit, I was/am a little [bubble bubble bubbled] and what I think is funny isn't always so.
Mild rant

Jealous here. By the way has anyone been to geek chic. Take a look I wish I had some of those tables.I have build my own gaming table this summer, it has lighted book-cases, dice-drawers, electricity for the laptops and a glass-plate for back-projecting maps (still untested)
one day I will make photo bucket account and post picsyes, I got
Behold my SELF_MADE GAMING TABLE
should work without password, if not password is Aeglos
An excellent table, mine has some similarities, although instead of drawers I have a recessed area for terrain. One day I will add in a projector.
very, very cool Table Justin
how much time does it take to build that terrain? it's very impressive

Well, my visit home is almost done. The wife, Charlie and I fly back tomorrow. As much as I love my family and visiting, I'm ready to get back to my routine. Still, I got plenty done that I wanted to do:
Ate some of my mom's red beans and rice, and some of her beef rounds in red gravy.
Had some gumbo at K Gee's. Good stuff.
Had some boiled crawfish. Fawesome!
Drank beer!
Got presents.
Watched a Saints game.
All in all, a successful trip.

So, my wife's great uncle died a bit back, and left a bunch of stuff her family has been picking through. My sis-in-law accepted a bunch of old books, mostly history stuff, but two that were interesting.....
The first was what appears to be a math book from the late 1500s. I say "appears" because the book is in Latin.
The second was a 2nd edition book by Thomas Jefferson called Notes on the State of Virginia from the 1790s.
Cool stuff. I've got some pics I'll post later on FB.

Hi, all. What did I miss?
Well, John and Sadie finally got through the border and were headed home, not realizing that their conniving cousin Alex had already begun selling all their belongings. Meanwhile, Sheri's plans for a huge New Year's Eve party were ruined when she broke her legs in a freak spiral ham accident. And, across town, Bill was surprised to learn that one of his conspiracy theories was actually true and......No, wait! That's my end of year soap opera!
