I have build my own gaming table this summer, it has lighted book-cases, dice-drawers, electricity for the laptops and a glass-plate for back-projecting maps (still untested)

one day I will make photo bucket account and post pics
Got pics yet?

yes, I got

Behold my SELF_MADE GAMING TABLE

should work without password, if not password is Aeglos

FAWESOME!

An excellent table, mine has some similarities, although instead of drawers I have a recessed area for terrain. One day I will add in a projector.

are there pics?

An attempt to link to it that I can't test.

All that link did was take me to a sign in screen. I signed in but it took to my own page.

I was afraid of that. The problem with trying to get the link from my phone to a PC.

I don't hate Conan; he simply leaves me cold. Whatever he does that people think are funny, I don't get. It is hard to comprehend how he built a successful career and loyal following.

He's very hit-and-miss with me. I prefer Craig Ferguson.

Will this day never end?

Well, Alvin and Simon weren't surprised to learn of Theodore's problems, but they were shocked at the sheer amount of money he owed. Meanwhile, Amy and her sister discovered the hard way that they had indeed been followed to the rendezvous. And, across town, Emily was worried that her lover, Sam, would not react well to......No, wait! That's my soap opera.

I second this favorite.

In fact, I'm in favor of any and all attractive brunettes married to men named Neil, Niel, Nial, or any other variation.

Hmm she has become my favourite Egyptologist now.

There is nothing more attractive than talented, intelligent, adventurous women. I can think of nothing better post cuddle than discussing Egyptian dynasties, Helen of Troy or in Kari Byrons case blowing stuff up.

and to the shame of every dwarf (and every German for that matter) I am totally loaded after 2 püints of cinder and one pint of guiness

At least say it wasn't the sweet kind of cider Swedish breweries insist on poisoning the market with, but rather a good, dry one that actually taste like apples.
it was a good Irish one, I can't remember the name but it was not one of the big once you usually get (not Bulmers, Strongbow or Carling)

Magners?

Spent the day hanging out with friends that we don't get to see nearly often enough. :)

And after many tears (cause having the computer melt on the inside is upsetting, darn it) and much financial finagling (because, alas, money does not in fact grow on trees) we managed to find the money to pay for a replacement computer for me. Ordered it today. It's supposed to be here before classes start so I don't have to change out my computer class after all. And there was much rejoicing. :)

Also got to use my new pans that I got for Christmas to cook dinner last night. So cool. And they're enamel coated so it's not torture to have to wash them. Woohoo!

(I have metal allergies. I'm allergic to nickel, tin, some other random stuff....basically all the stuff they use to make alloys....I don't care if stainless steel is hypoallergenic, it still burns when I touch it, and my skin still gets all red and puffy from too much sustained contact. Anyways, this is why the new pans are a big deal to me.)

Hmmm....looks like I'm doing a little miniblitz.

Hope you feel better soon, Moorluck.

I need to make a shopping list. We always have an assortment of special snack food for New Years, but I have not yet managed to get to the grocery store to buy said snacks. If they have any I think I will buy a duck so I can make crispy duck. I made it last year and it was delicious.

Okay, that's about all the posting I can manage for now. Kidlet is complaining about wanting dinner. *sigh* I suppose I have to actually feed him. ;P
