Ugh, it's New Year's Eve, why does it feel like I have a hangover?

Sweet gaming board Aeglos, wish I had the skills and the room for something similar.

Hard to believe but today is my four-year anniversary of my first post on Paizo. Where TF did all the time go?

Have a good day folks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

*blink*

Happy anniversary!

Liberty's Edge

Indeed.

Liberty's Edge

And happy new year FAWTLies!

Thanks Moth and DA. *sigh* and as an anniversary present the polititrolls take turns dropping turds on the 'books I am reading' thread. Vunderbar.

Hee hee!

I knew that would upset you, and I tried to harmlessly derail it in a humorous direction, but, I admit, I was/am a little [bubble bubble bubbled] and what I think is funny isn't always so.

Mild rant

Spoiler:
I don't mind politics, especially when wrapped in humor. What I detest is passive aggressive attempts to stir up controversy in places it don't belong. Spare me the sermons on how if you don't like something you are a redneck idiot. DA, you always try, and for that, I applaud you. It's too bad so many of your political stripe are humorless douchebags with, as HD so eloquently put it 'Boards up their asses'.

You want to hit this?

I wish I had a room committed to gaming. Jealous here. By the way has anyone been to geek chic. Take a look I wish I had some of those tables.

I have build my own gaming table this summer, it has lighted book-cases, dice-drawers, electricity for the laptops and a glass-plate for back-projecting maps (still untested)

one day I will make photo bucket account and post pics
Got pics yet?

yes, I got

Behold my SELF_MADE GAMING TABLE

should work without password, if not password is Aeglos

FAWESOME!

An excellent table, mine has some similarities, although instead of drawers I have a recessed area for terrain. One day I will add in a projector.

are there pics?
An attempt to link to it that I can't test.
fixed link

very, very cool Table Justin

how much time does it take to build that terrain? it's very impressive

as it is customary over here, I wish you all:

Einen Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!

That is: A good slide into the new year

and as it is customary, I am watching the Vierschanzentournee (Four Hill Tournament) - Ski Jumping
the most importent sport event in the winter for us
at the moment it is the qualifiing for the New-Yearts-Jump tomorrow in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

It's New Year's Eve and I definitely need antibiotics. Sure hope Walgreens clinic is open this morning because the docs aren't.

Ugh! Take care Treppa. I hope you find some medical care today. No fun being sick as we move into 2012.

The Exchange

Getting ready to take the girl, little miss "I'm seven today so I'm all grown up", to CiCi's Pizza for her birthday party. Y'all have a good New Years Eve, and if I don't see you before then, Happy New Year!

Maybe I should post that I'm reading Green Eggs and Ham?

I'm sure someone could make a correlation with politics.

I'm off tonight with vacation pay kiddies. I'm off to the Las Vegas Strip to snap photographs of 2012 celebrations. Wish me luck because its going to be wild.

Well, my visit home is almost done. The wife, Charlie and I fly back tomorrow. As much as I love my family and visiting, I'm ready to get back to my routine. Still, I got plenty done that I wanted to do:

Ate some of my mom's red beans and rice, and some of her beef rounds in red gravy.

Had some gumbo at K Gee's. Good stuff.

Had some boiled crawfish. Fawesome!

Drank beer!

Got presents.

Watched a Saints game.

All in all, a successful trip.

So, my wife's great uncle died a bit back, and left a bunch of stuff her family has been picking through. My sis-in-law accepted a bunch of old books, mostly history stuff, but two that were interesting.....

The first was what appears to be a math book from the late 1500s. I say "appears" because the book is in Latin.

The second was a 2nd edition book by Thomas Jefferson called Notes on the State of Virginia from the 1790s.

Cool stuff. I've got some pics I'll post later on FB.

Well, John and Sadie finally got through the border and were headed home, not realizing that their conniving cousin Alex had already begun selling all their belongings. Meanwhile, Sheri's plans for a huge New Year's Eve party were ruined when she broke her legs in a freak spiral ham accident. And, across town, Bill was surprised to learn that one of his conspiracy theories was actually true and......No, wait! That's my end of year soap opera!

Huzahh!

Liberty's Edge

Hope you're feeling better Treppa.

Liberty's Edge

Huh. 2012.

... Looks outside ...

Seems ok so far.

Shadow Lodge

Wait for it.

The Exchange

The Arden Movie Night is about set to begin, her choices are Despicable Me and How to Train Your Dragon, dinner will be nachos, with snacks of fresh popcorn and a giant bag of M&M's. Beverage is root beer.

Yum! Happy birthday to Arden. Didn't know she was a New Year's Eve baby.

Ah so much better.

Happy Jester who it seems will most likely not be on call for New Years due to corporate greed is happy.

New Year posting blitz!

Meh. I miss Pat.

Cheerio!

Aw, heck, I need to post all my posts with my regular avatar/alias.

Hope everyone's had their share of PIE today.

Bought champagne and the cantal to go with it.

Didn't get fruit. Maybe my sister has some.

Just for the record, I prefer brut.

Everyone well? Already moving in party directions?

We are not heading out until later.
