Effectively - if the governing party can no longer govern, i.e. she can't get legislation through, which is happening, there will either be a leadership election, or if a government can't be put together at all, a general election. An unscheduled general election can't happen unless the ruling party calls it, however.
EDIT: That glimmer of hope you can see is actually the nose on my luminous dong.

I assume you are referring to how Battletech used designs from various anime in its early years? They did not steal them. They licensed the designs from a studio who it later turned out did not actually own the rights in the first place. (The studio was involved in a long-term lawsuit over the rights with another studio and the Japanese legal system didn't make a ruling until after FASA and Harmony Gold started arguing over which of them had the American rights to the images.)

They made an EXTREMELY poor decision with wide-reaching ramifications. They knew what they were doing. No doe-eyed innocent gamers here, they were banking on the idea that they would either not be caught or outright get away with it.

OK, so there will be a special election where Parliament elects a new PM; and then possibly the Tories will call a general election if they still can't get anything done? Any reason to think they will? I mean, it seems like it's in their naked self-interest to hold on to power even if they're a lame duck party.

Hmmm…
Can't really say I have a favorite per say.I'm not really much of a mecha-nerd and I'm not really that partial to the whole "large humanoid shaped fighting machines" bit...its really not that fitting for my perception of (vehicular) warfare.
So I'm more partial to the "walking tank/battleship" designs of Mechwarrior.
I was kind of fine with Warstriders in exalted though…
So...
Eh...!?

They're split to the point that a solid chunk of the party are openly opposing their leader on a regular basis. If you can't rely on your own MPs (and dodgy Northern Irish allies) to back you, and she can't, you can only stagger on on negative HP for so long before collapsing

Ya know I'd like to try a gooseberry sometime.
I wonder if they're called that because they taste like goose, or because geese eat them.
Or because some poor sod way back when got his brain addled by a flaming bike.
They're just sour red berries. You're really not missing much of anything.

Hmph, disappointing.
Unless of course they're also sweet. I love me some sour green apples, so.
And if not, is gooseberry pie not a thing? If pie can make rhubarb edible, I'm guessing it can make gooseberries edible.

Gooseberries are best when cooked into jam. They’re kind of unremarkable raw, but cooked they have a very pleasant flavor. Mind you, I come from a tradition of if it isn’t poisonous when cooked and it’s fruit, we can use it for jam, so take that as you will. :)

Tonight's game of PF had an added dungeon the GM worked on specifically in theme with my character and his brother, the demon-tieflings abyssal sorcerer and bloodrager specifically. Apparently, a cult needed our blood to summon our "true father" into the world.
The story we learned is our father, who was shooting blanks, made a deal with a demon to have kids. That's why we're tieflings, rather than your bar standard "someone banged a demon" story - we're magically created.
So we get through this slog of a temple, and the GM has like dozens and dozens of zombies ready to charge us, a couple demonic gnoll clerics, a zombie lord, and a f+ing choker all at the end. OH, and two tiefling rogues.
We. Curb. Stomped. Them. I mean sorta. Our oracle died, but he always played like a damn fighter.
Then I Obscuring Mist so they can't hit us with ranged attacks. While the zombies are all clogging up the entrance.
Then we all chug potions of Spider Climb that our druid made.
We walk on the ceiling of this 20 foot chamber, and the druid summons Mad Monkeys, the oracle summons some celestial animals, and I'm just plucking b+@@#es with magic missile from the edge of the cloud...popping in and out with my +17 to stealth at 6th level (highlander trait, cat familiar, max ranks, and tiefling bonus).
We pluck off the Zombie Lord eventually, and the GM gets SO TIRED of rolling for all these zombies he just assumes they're permanently on slip and slide, because with the staggered condition, they just...are f!!~ed.
Then we find two tiefling rogues, and I get out Limp Lash, and....damnit all if I don't just LOVE that spell. I really do. Especially when you keep rolling 6's on their dex score penalty.
Then I whip the s!#+ out of the choker with the Limp Lash until our kobold paladin coup de grace's him - with his x4 critting pickaxe.
Finally, the cleric tries to start some s@$$, so...my 1/day shatter ability ruins his holy symbol.
I mean, the druid's potions helped, but I owned that fight. The GM said he was worried he went too hard and it'd be a TPK, but...just...WRECKED. The only reason the oracle died is she just straight up charged in like a doofus. (She always rolled amazing so much that she got too confident.)
Bloody awesome game!

I don't remember if I mentioned this here.
I had this great idea for Avengers 4. We can't do it, sadly, 'cause Stan Lee died, but hear me out. Maybe with CGI? They did it for Star Wars...
So Deadpool shows up at some point. I remember reading Disney finally bought the Fox properties. Or maybe they can make a deal like with Spider Man.
Thanos and him are talking, arguing, whatever. Thanos knows DP is no threat with the Gauntlet in his hand, so he's letting him live for whatever reason.
Stan Lee just shows up, wherever they are, Wakanda, an asteroid, whatever, doing some generic stuff. Picking trash with a poker and a bag, or whatnot.
And DP is like "Hey Stan. I was wondering when we'd get your cameo in here. It's always my favorite part of the movies."
And Thanos has this utterly confused look on his face like he has no idea WTF is going on.
And DP is like "Yeah Grimace, your precious gauntlet doesn't give you THAT power, now does it? Also, hero in my movie and villain here? Well I played 3 supers, so top that! Yes, Blade Trinity counts! Oh, wait, I'm not supposed to talk about the green suit and the competition here, am I? Wait, I'm being erased? Yeah, I guess that's fai..." and of course Thanos dissolves him.

I would erase Deadpool without conversation.

Hmmm…
Goofy, but not really necessary. The two (Deadpool and Thanos) already have an established relationship.
I think a better meeting would be:
Deadpool shows up.
Thanos spots him, sneers "She's mine worm", snaps his fingers and dissolves him.
Deadpool rematerializes in a weird pocket/side reality where he has to rescue a "messiah strength" toddler Cable from a alternate (nanny) version of Mister Sinister.

They are sour - too sour to eat raw, but nice in a pie.

Ah, those. They come in a variety of colors, green, yellow, red, even purple, I think, though green was the most popular (grandparents had them in their garden).

Yup, a lot of people up here grow them, currants (black and red), raspberries and blueberries in berry-patches often tucked away in the corners of their gardens. it's getting a bit rarer though, with more and more people not really bothering with having and maintaining "wider" gardens with everything from flowerbeds to fruit trees…

Hi, Limey. Doing okay?
Not bad, ta - hope you're well, and enjoy your dinner!
I'm drinking Christmas Pudding Stout. I wasn't sure it was a good idea when I bought it, and I think I was right - it tastes very odd indeed.
I've got lots of elder trees at the bottom of my garden, so making elderberry cordial is one of my regular autumn activities. This year, the berries went mouldy before I had a chance to turn them into cordial, though, which was a pain.

Blegh! Sounds horrid in my humble opinion.
Then again I'm a bit of a "beer conservative" ^^'Stouts are supposed to be chocolate or liquorice only! :p
Going to make dinner. See you later.
Okay, enjoy you're dinner!
