Oh yes. We had to progress to the stage where I refused to read things for him (because he claimed packaging was just too *shiny* to read it) before he got his eyes checked.

Dipper Pines (from the back seat of a car): Wait, is Grunkle Stan driving blindfolded?

Grunkle Stan: No, but with these cataracts I might as well be!

Misses curve and drives through billboard.

Yea, my sight on my right eye (my aiming eye ^^') has taken a turn for the worse the last few years…yet I've been hesitant to actually get my ass to a ophthalmologist to get some numbers put on it (and if its just my age or whatnot).

Maybe it some kind of male mental or psychological blockage…or maybe we're just a prideful stubborn bunch ^^'

Prideful and stubborn is right!

(WW walks through the door)
Me: So... single vision or bifocals.
WW: Progressives.
Me: Progressives are bifocals, honey, just like mine.
[WW stands there silently.]
Me: You're fifty in a few months. What on earth did you expect?!?
WW: I expected to be one of those guys to make it into old age with all my hair, all my teeth, and no glasses!

So, does he have a big damn hairball of every hair that's fallen out.

The teeth we understand.

Oh dear, what kind of practice are we running here!

It's snowing in Pittsburgh, now.

IT is not snowing here. Also I think thats a tag out? maybe almost.

You're a little early, but yeah. Tag out. Good night, everyone.

G'night, John.

There it was. I thought I was a hair early.

You have so much hair that you are probably always early.

Tonight started off a little annoyingly. We were supposed to have a Formula D game, so I show up and the lady at the counter (we play at the FLGS) says "You here for Formula D? It's cancelled." I text one of the organizers who confirms it was postponed, but since I don't wake up early enough to boot the laptop and check my email I didn't know. So, I got up about 2 hours early for nothing. We are rescheduled for Thursday night, so hopefully that works.

Yeah that sounds like a bad start to a day.

I got all geared to kill the ender dragon in minecraft and as soon as I spawned in his area he knocked me off the map so I lost everything :P time to take another break from that game.

How does he knock you off the map. Is it something preventable?

I think its some sort of breath attack maybe. I looked it up and you can get an ender pearl and try and throw it so it teleports you when he tries to knock you off otherwise keep your back to a wall really but It happened as soon as I spawned in so I hadn't oriented myself yet. Basically horrendous bad luck.

Albert Einstein was being driven to a conference to give a speech. He complained to his driver "I hate these conferences! I go, give the same speech, and answer the same questions over and over again! I'm so sick of it!" The driver said "I understand, sir. I go to all these conferences with you, and have heard your speech so many times that I could give it for you." Einstein excitedly replied "That's a great idea! You give the speech for me, and I will relax." The driver agreed, so they pulled off the road, switched clothes and places in the car, and continued on. When they arrived, the driver went onstage and gave the speech verbatim while Einstein sat nearby and had a drink. Everything was going great, the driver was even able to answer the questions asked by the audience since they were, as Einstein had despaired about earlier, the same questions always asked. But there was one problem. In the audience was a very smart young scientist who had a very complex and difficult question that had not been asked before. The driver paused for a moment, and then sighed and said "Young man, the answer to that question is so obvious that I'm going to let my driver answer it."

Heh which one is the real genius there!? (hint: both)

Of what possible use would a 'Lubey Longears' alias be?

Could be useful if you ever need to slip into a tight opening.

I'm sure there is a way you could of said that dirtier but nothing comes to mind.

I could have said "wiggle your way into a small hole".

"That sounds like a really terrible club dance. 'Everybody punch the wizard to their left!'"

Hmm No other one still sounds dirtier to me.

How about "stuff your large self into an orifice of insufficient size"?

Lint? Dust? The yellow crap that forms in the corner of your eyes?

I heard the yellow stuff was basically dust and dirt particles that end up in our eyes and that's our eyes expelling it.

It's rheum.

Huh so kind of and then some. cool.

Alternatively, one could say that tiny goblins come out at night and eat your eyelashes so that they don't get too long, and then they poop in the corners of your eyes.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

No lets not say that.

Too late. It's been said. And now they are waiting for you to go to sleep so that they can feast.

Your an evil man Gran.

*you're
*gran

Shouldn't it be "You're an evil man" or even better "you are an evil man".

Wait why would the gran be un-capitalized?

Well at least that makes sense.

Because gran is also bad at punctuation...

I see the forums are still being weird.

Regenerate your right eye?

Dye your hair sunset yellow instead of purple?

Give an angry bear a full-body bubble perm?

Same thing you do every day, Pinky.

This highlights my point of the forums still being weird. I was going to quite avid quote Vid saying the same thing. Hm.

EDIT: quid quote Vid?

It snows. Legit. Not just dusting, like 1/4 to 1/2 an inch!

Gotta bundle up and take a walk. First time in 26 years for this former Floridian!

GM's worst nightmare...

Commune with nature:

”You instantly gain knowledge of as many as three facts from among the following subjects: the ground or terrain, plants, minerals, bodies of water, people, general animal population, presence of woodland creatures, presence of powerful unnatural creatures, or even the general state of the natural setting.” We could get people, powerful unnatural creatures, and general animal population.

Me: There are 113 grizzly bears, 3,319 deer, 84 lynxes, 97 bobcats, 4149 birds, 9040 rabbits, 743 wild boars, 452 wolves, 12014 Squirrels, 110 badgers, 623 weasels, 113065 mice, 1834 snakes, 9654 moles, 96312 lizards, 20367 fishes, 23742 bats.

I'm not sure if I even got the figures or creatures entirely right, but how the heck do you really estimate what there is in a forest in a 6 mile radius...

Not to be that guy or anything but a quarter inch to a half inch IS a dusting.

Still, fun stuff and enjoy!
