You want adequate AI's?
I think that's how you start paranoia.
What I mean is that software alone is insufficient. You also need hardware that approaches the complexity of living, organic brains. To point, Computer processors are still two-dimensional, while brains are three-dimensional. We'd need to find a way to manufacture three-dimensional circuits in a manner that would be easy to circulate cooled air throughout.

Just keep mirroring the human brain I think is the way to go. Would be liquid cooled right. then we need other little machines to clean up the messes of the bigger machines. Reminds me of the technological singularity which I've always found to be super interesting. More power to the machine maybe they will be better rulers then humans!

My BF and I actually talk about cats some, like all the cats he's had, how to approach a cat... Again...cat?=)
my, following him home? Such a handsome chap. And of course you scratch near the whiskers, that's where-
door kicked down by modesty patrol, who take Freehold into custody for gross indecency
I had no idea it even trying to explain matters was going to make things worse!

You know my BF really didn't approve of the thread about what the neural network says. He said that teaching an AI to become sentient will just end in tears.

I have gotten lazy. I woke up at 7.30, did some PBP stuff, went back to bed, got up to PBP more, and by the time I was ready to eat breakfast it was 9.30 am. WTF Mort. You're a positive PIG.
I had plans to go swimming in the morning. Clearly that went out of the window.
Repeat after myself: Sloth is a sin.
I have a pizza to bake and a fishtank to clean this sunday. I wonder how far I'm going to get with those.

I forget what it was called but there is a condition where you simultaneously hate (hate might be to strong of a word) most of humanity but still want them to do better and you can still empathize with people. Its that. Its probably not most of humanity for me just some of the ones I have to interact with from day to day. I imagine a lot of Walmart employees feel the same way.

Ran 1.9 miles in 20 min. Didn't know I could keep that 5.9 miles/h for more then 15 min, but now I do. I wonder where the limits of my stamina are but I think that's an experiment for another time. As it is around the 10 min mark I was getting mild stitches. Pushed on.
Of course I don't exactly warm up...
Lynxs-in Park helps. It's like an inspire courage =P

Well I don't do well for short sprints(I'm not very fast), so if you want to catch me all you need is a short burst of speed. Otherwise I could keep running for a fairly long time. I've also wondered what it's like to run 10km in the open, but I've never really tried.
I know if I'm not carrying anything or on a light load I could be on my feet the whole day np.
Though if I were really running 10 km, I would drop my running speed to 4.9 miles/h or lower. I don't think 5.9 miles/h is sustainable for me.
Anyone down here has marathon experience?

*squeals and zips away*
If it helps yeah I think that run cleared my general lethargy and sluggishness. I feel better about myself now! =D
What happened to your left knee?
The world record for 3.1 mile runs for women is 14 min, 11 seconds

I just landed on it from too high of a height. I was diving in a pool that I thought was deeper then it was. Its not to bad really only hurts when I run. I can even pedal a bike no problem.
Reminds me of the time I went to adventure cove with my BF. There's this diving platform 2 stories high. So yeah I took of my glasses, crossed my arms around my shoulders like that navy friend of mine told me, hopped off.
Was all fine, except she forgot to tell me one thing, which way to go up once you land in. Figured it out in a little bit, but was disorientating at first.
The walking across the right rope I managed, but ring the bell, Nadda. I don't climb well, remember?
My BF managed to climb up there and ring the bell though.

I'm a ok climber. I have absolutely no fear of heights.
My mom alwaystold me this story where she had lost me as a baby (I would say more likely I was probably a toddler) she found sitting on top of our refrigerator giggling at her. (one of the tall ones).
Its probably to the point where its unhealthy like I will walk right out to an edge and not think twice about leaning over.

I don't have upper body and foreclaw strength to pull myself up when it comes to climbing of any sort, including climbing walls. I have to hold onto something if I go near any ledges. I can still function at heights as long as I don't look down.

Jack-Jack style phasing powers? ;)

Uh work out your upper body a lot... That's about all I got oh and watch your footing. Like I'm broad chested and I lift a lot of free weights. That and my innate lack of fear when it comes to falling. That's about all I got.
Also if you can learn how to phase.
IF you do learn how to phase you have to share.

Also it'd really impress my nephew if I could swing my way across monkey bars but I am not having any luck with those...
Chasing him around on paws isn't an issue.

Yes it will... For the AI. I almost pity it having to put up with humans.
