Yes. She likes me. We still have to work out the details. Since more people in the house means more electricity and water usage (and we do not pay the utility bills), it is reasonable that the rent should increase. That should be ironed out soon, though.

it really is. I didn't see many people last time I was there though, ill check again over the course of this weekend.

Ugh. This was not a good morning. I walked out of my apartment and went to get in my car and noticed I did not have my keys. The apartment locked behind me.
I wound up having to break in through a window.
That is now how days are supposed to start.
Damn. I'm sorry. That really sucks.

In an office with computers in every room (sometimes as many as three or four) and several server machines on-site, keeping things cool is a business necessity. Us fleshy Users, those of us who aren't adapted to constant lower temperatures (40-50*) at least, just have to make do. Keeping it any warmer on a regular basis just isn't practical.
You'd probably be pretty comfy ;)
What's freaky is that we really don't have much of a heat system. If you don't have a space heater in your room, you're kind of out of luck in the winter.

I imagine that I looked too ridiculous to any onlookers to be mistaken for a burglar. I rather ungracefully flopped through the chest-high window. Fortunately, I did not have to break any glass - just pry off the screen and lift the window open.

Breaking into apartments in broad-daylight... in New York :O
At least now you know how easy/difficult it is to break-in. (Just in time to move)

Thirdly, during our Kingmaker session last night, I almost killed my brother's character. That'll learn him to run ahead of the rest of the party!! Lucky for him, the giant tick wasn't doing bite damage while it grappled him - just sucking blood.
Never underestimate mites. They may have shit for hit points, but their vermin friends can be brutal.

That dungeon was such a blast for my group.
Mikmek the kobold survived a critical hit from the giant centipede, forever cementing his reputation as a badass to the rest of the party. He later became their Royal Executioner/Assassin.
The Oracle in my group got a crit card on the tick that switched placed with it. So suddenly she's standing with the chief on her shoulders and the rest of the party has the tick right in their midst. Everybody suddenly freaked out. Then the barbarian kicked it into the (now dead) centipede's chasm.
And the whole time I was doing this incredibly annoying "Nyyyyoooooooan" voice for the mites to illustrate how pathetic they looked and sounded. My players hate that voice to this day.

in my gaming experience there is a difference between rushing off by yourself and scouting ahead.
