Ok. Is there some cosmic significance to 1/18/11? The "My Coke Rewards" program also ends on 1/18. :P It's a Tuesday for goodness sake! Is this the day back in 1955 that the founder of Paizo fell off the toilet in the bathroom and knocked his noggin and woke with picture in his head, a picture of Paizo! rofl

Just 12 more days peeps!

it's my dad's birthday
but I guess if we all collect the events of january 18th, we'd get a mass

Having the submission deadline on a Friday means the judges get the weekend to post their comments before voting opens.

Having the submissions open three days before that Friday gives the competitors three full days to submit their entry.

Having the submissions open on a Tuesday means we have all of Monday to finalize the information we need to post about the round (this includes prep time for Gary and Ross to get everything set up for the next round), after having one last weekend to make comments.

And to echo what Rhino said... it is also the birthday of someone in my family (and I've mentioned this before).... my sister! :)

(still hoping that this is a good omen for me). ;)

Heh heh... not that I know of Standback... not that I know of. (I think that would be cool if she did, to the best of my knowledge she doesn't have any of the Pathfinder RPG stuff... although having said that I realize she could get all the resource material from the PRD site...)

Hmmm... I now have something new to ponder for a few days.

Thanks. ;-)

1644 isn't a problem, don't worry about UFOs.

It was actually SKR avec Sword, traveling back in time... to do what the Sword does. Things got hectic, folks... OK? Instead of 1944, they went 1644.

Paizo and Pathfinder realized the archetype being used wasn't powerful enough and didn't have the ability to make the return trip!

Not enough words were allowed and something about a preference for archetype that were... cool, but slightly weaker.

So, they had to send others back reverting to a third party PrC from 3.0... it took several tries, each time buffing the class more and more.

I can't tell you how it ended for fear of affecting the timeline.

Hope you understand, but we're glad he made it back... sorta, I can neither confirm nor deny the current Pathfinder SKR true identity.

Live with it.

My most recently checked out library books are due on 1/18/11. Does that count as cosmic significance?

Only if it's the Necronomicon.

I'll be rollan dem bones at SnowCon (I live about an hour from Bangor, ME) all day Saturday and Sunday, and probably doing last-minute prep for the game I'm running in the days leading up to it. As long as I don't chew my nails off Monday I'll be all set.

The main question having been answered already, I'll just add that the My Coke Rewards program has been extended for another year (till the end of 2011).

In case you were worried about that.

Except it wasn't SKR et all, [b]it will be SKR avec Sword as they hadn't started their time travel yet. And won't for a few more years.

And some sources hint that he didn't came back. He lived to our times without time travelling.
