My primary pbp game is on the pause because most of the players have RL commitments, so I have decided to start another game in a campaign world that I always wanted to explore - Scarred Lands.
My Midnight game has reached 4000 posts in a year, and while it is on a pause right now, I must say that it was a great satisfaction and enjoyment to run that game with such dedicated players. I would like to dedicate myself to another game world which holds a great challenge to me as both GM and storyteller. So, Scarred Lands.
I am looking for six players who are familiar with the game world. The PCs will start at 3rd level, 28 point buy, maximum gold. Everything published by Paizo is allowed as is, and everything from previous editions of the game on case to case basis. Available traits can be seen by clicking on my profile. There is a bonus feet as a reward for extensive background that ties the character to the game world.
Please present your concepts if you are interested in joining this game. The requirement is five posts per week. I work from home, so I tend to reply to each post.

Oh! My first campaign I ever ran, in 3.0, and players still talk about it. I'd like to play. I'm all for giving the Summoner a try. Love playing summoned animals, and it looks like a real challange. I'll give the Campaign setting a look and see if I can come up with some Scarred lands twists for the class.

Ooh, I love this setting!
While I normally don't like Prestige Classes at all, the Scarred Lands has some amazingly evocative PrCs, such as the Initiate of the Forge (monk PrC dedicated to transforming the body into a construct-like thing of iron).
I'd be most interested in playing a Cleric or Wizard headed into Summoner (R&R), Rune Master (Burok Torn) or Master Cabalist (PGtoWB&S), or a Druid headed into Incarnate (reprinted making more sense in Secrets & Societies). Note that the Rune Master might require a little house ruling on your part (assuming we get to the level where PrCs might even be a factor...), as it's one of the older PrCs, and I've heard it called 'broken.'
While I'm a huge fan of Hollowfaust, playing a viable necromancer-wizard tends to be a chore, both for RP reasons, and for mechanical reasons, and I'll just give that a pass. :)
If you get a bunch of people interested in those classes, this is probably the only setting with interesting enough options for Fighters (Nine-Stings Master!), Paladins (Gold Knight & Silver Knight!) and Monks (Initiate of the Forge, Dawn Spear Adept, Brother of Steel!) that I'd be willing to give one of them a shot.
I don't know if you've got conversions to Pathfinderize various rules stuff from the setting, but I've got some ideas here for the various special Domains of the setting. I didn't bother to convert the Shadow and Entrancement domains (for Drendari and Idra), since they can be replaced with Darkness and Charm, from the core book, without any real difference.

This is Pathfinder game, but compliant with all DnD 3.0 and 3.published material. Necessary conversions will be done on the spot.
I am not aware of srd for Scarred Lands, or any open resource on the net. That's why I must insist that players are at least somewhat familiar with the setting. Scarred Lands are lot less generic fantasy setting than Golarion or Forgotten Realms and you need to have specific info to play in them, much like Midnight.
Set, are you interested in playing?
