Busy around here. Some news from my font. I checked the local gym's website and found out that they give away one complementary personal trainer session. I am taking them up on that offer tomorrow. Hopefully it will give me that little boost to stay positive. I figure get started now and when I get back on insurance in January I will have a little advantage before a physical instead of start working out after one.

Do it! When I was going to the gym (a few years back, before the divorce and move and ... *sigh*), they offered it and by spending that little bit of time, I was able to create an exercise tailored to get me where I wanted to go.

You know...when the school wants something from us we better step it up and do/get there on time. Now when I need them I have to wait. Ugh.

martial arts requires money. gym membership is part of my rent, and this is a complementary session i.e. Free. I wish I could get back into martial arts but I need to strengthen some areas, get more flexibility and drop some starting weight.

Agh! While I was getting my hair cut the school called me. Apparently the kidlet decided he didn't have to listen to his teachers today and tried to make a break for it when he was called on it. He is currently writing apology letters at the dining table, and then we have to do all his schoolwork at home. :/

Can they get through my natural hide? a few of my primary skills are orc ferocity and toughness as well as a strong will and desire to never give up. It would be better if your army recruited me.

It wont be swings he will either take you down with a grapple or attack your knees and bring you down or just smash you with elbows and knees...
Judo and Muay Thai are an interesting mix - although I can see how you would combine the two... most fights the participants end up grabbing each other and both Judo and Muay Thai have very good moves for a clinch.
