I love jumping-type and hunting spiders. Too bad SP hates the whole arachnid bunch.

I have the arachnophobia, it's irrational.

Really? I empathize with the hearing loss. My sister is hearing impaired. We use CC on the TV all the time. I can read faster than the characters speak, so it's kind of cheating. She has ear infections all the time, which are the source of the hearing imparement.

And yeah, that's the one. I always get it confused with the one that's supposed to be for male anatomy, so it's no wonder why I'm so happy all the time! I could be wrong, but I think it's for dopamine, not seratonin re-uptake inhibition. Don't quote me on that. Acutally, I found when I started it, I was hyper and semi-manic, so we really had to ease into it. And taking it in the morning helps keep me from 3 AM carrot binges.

Mine's nerve damage, so there's no improving it with today's medicine other than hearing aids. And yes, I definitely watch TV with a lot of closed captions. Except live broadcasts .... when they're scrolling by at a speed different than the conversation and/or contains spelling errors.

I must've overlooked. Which medication was it? But I agree ... I take all of those type of meds in the morning when I wake up. But I don't see myself ever getting up at any hour for a carrot binge. But it does sound healthier than the alternatives out there. :p

Man. I went through and preserved my most brilliant posts on V/GN in a list, so that they won't molder in Archives. Consider it a gift to gamer posterity.

I know why I'm still up at this hour, but you? What's V/GN, anyway? I had to rub my eyes for a moment and thought you said something else. Of course, my eyes were playing tricks on me. They tricks me.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! I spent the past weekend watching the first season of Castle with my wife, looking for an apartment, and buying way too many clothes (it feels like the first day of school).

I've got a 10:15 start time, so I won't get a good feel for the commute today. I will tonight when I come home, though.

Thanks for all the well-wishes. I'll be back later tonight, if not at lunchtime.

I hope you all had good weekends and have a great Monday.

Wow, that was a quick night for you.

Since I've been sleeping downstairs on the couch to keep an eye on the dog post surgery, I get woken up sooner because a) he needs to go outside b) the cats pester me to get out the morning breakfast for them and especially c) since the window in the living room faces east, I get full-on sunlight to wake my groggy self up prematurely. I expect to fall back into a nap w/ the dog again shortly.

Such a busy weekend. :/

Goooooooood morning Fawlty Towers!!!!!

Hell of a weekend- Friday was particularly rough as I had to work three times on two different jobs...after that and the saturday night shift(which was a little earlier and in Hell's Kitchen, which was nice, but subway construction made getting home difficult), I was wiped out for the weekend. I have the ideas for the homebrewed clerics written down on paper, but I have yet to share them online. Maybe I'll post them here first to share them/get criticism from people I actually like before making them canon(*gigglesnort*). Perhapst the most hilarious part of the weekend was finding out my wife and I couldn't get True Blood from Netflix when we wanted to because....our friends on the other side of town had it.

So, what's everyone else up to?

Eating Shreddies infront of the PC, longing for MiniWheats. Checking ebay, loathing those jerks who outbid by 20 cents at the last minute. Please tell me the good citizens of FAWTLy land would never commit such atrocities.

I think I will mow the feedlot today. I probably will find a car.

Plus my Sunday was abysmal. I'll tell you all about it later. Night.

That's strange- I thought GKA did post here semi-regularly before. Ah well, welcomes anyway.

So this is starting a crappy morning off crappie. My wife went back to work doing summer bus routes. Yay money during the summer. But they make last minute changes on her bus route so she is not back in time so that she can take me to work and have the van; During which time I am rushing and forget to eat so now my body is shaking from the diabetes. I did not have a way to call work and even tell them I was going to be late. Now I am calling in just to say I won't be there. ARRGGGGG some days I feel like Charlie Brown right after Lucy has taken the football away or when the tree has eaten his kite.

Sorry. And now I feel a little guilty. Got up at a decent time and felt awake. Went to Starbucks and they gave me my drink for free (because I'm a regular and they were training someone that was taking FOREVER to ring up the person in front of me).

And I'm not going back to reading the last 400+ posts. I'm sorry, but if there was anything important, you'll just have to repost. ;-)

Mornin' all!

We finally have a day off (sorta), so slept in/are sleeping in today. What luxury! I finally got seven hours of sleep instead of five, and it feels awesome.

I think we'll clean house today, then I need to pop in at the store and see why the frackin' sales system is hanging up periodically. I suspect the database but have zero knowledge of SQL. Rats!

Well, Sebastian was attacked by a sweater-wearing troll, but managed to defeat the beast with some well-aimed acid attacks. Meanwhile, James stepped in to finally end the argument over who had stolen all the compasses from the crackerjack boxes. And across town, KC's paranoia got the better of him, when he accidently told Gary to....no, wait! That's my soap opera.
