On the plus side I have had a salad for lunch. Not much of a vegetarian, you know Cherokee for poor hunter, but the doc said I need to all but be one; if that is I want to live another 10 years.Sigh
Speaking of dietary changes, interested in going out to lunch somewhere affordable and greasy during the week? We have a bit of time on our hands.
:P
P.S. On second thought, ixnay the reasegay.
Sure...this week is a bit odd but doing lunch sounds good. The only bad day for me is Wednesday. I had planned to do lunch with a friend on either Thursday or Friday, but I am free on the alternate day. As soon as I find out, I will let you know.

Monday or Tuesday is actually the easiest for me; alternating Wednesdays is usually an issue for me as well. :P

Incidently, I drove through your new 'hood' today. Because of some zombified birthday boy, I decided to drive a stroll over to Popeye's off of Brice & Livingston after leaving B&N.
Just as I was making a turn to the left, a deer ran out on the opposite end of the intersection @ Lancaster Rd and a truck clipped it. The deer did a flip through the air and into the grass on the side ... got up after stumbling, and then continued to sprint off into the woods. Lucky critter! The truck didn't seem damaged, but the driver startled.
I didn't have to gun up (*wink HouDer*), but there were the usual youths strolling along the road near the high school. That location seems a little slow ... but there's a special going on there right now.
Delicious, but it was the first time I've had it since my sugery over two years ago ... & it may be the last. Don't get me wrong -- I *love* cajun food ... but there's something in their cajun spice (or cooking oil?) that they use in the fries and chicken that my body doesn't like and ultimately 'rejects'.
FWIW -- it was tasty ... at first.
:/
EDIT: your new place wouldn't happen to be right next to or a house or two down from the UCC church on the west side of the road, would it? Saw a moving truck in the driveway. *shrugs*

Alrighty... I've got a few pictures up from this last weekend. It was snowy. Very. I was a little concerned about getting the camera wet so I really didn't take that many pictures. (Only around 200.) And a lot of the pictures I took were experiments on different settings with the camera. Also, snow landscape is a little difficult for me to take pictures of -- the snow is a huge contrast to the surrounding trees and rocks so either one is often too dark or the other is too bright. But hey -- if life throws you lemons...
Anyway, here are the pictures. (At least the best of them.) Enjoy.
Nice pictures, Moff!

So I walked out of the apartment without my keys, which I realized just as the door clicked shut behind me. So I had to call Dan and have him leave work early to pick up the kidlet. At least I was able to get the apartment manager to let me back in, just not in time to pick up Bryce. I'm feeling a bit foolish.
You should have used that as an excuse to get some help from the neighboring hotties. :)
