Hello I'm new to this forum and wanted to say hi. I Came from the wizards forums because the majority of them seem to have a bit of an ego problem, I'm hoping this forum isn't anything like that. Oh and me and my group are also new to path finder and loving it.

Ok so one of my players want to use some eberon stuff(Shifter Race and the Moon Speaker PRC) so could anyone direct me to any helpful info(i have searched and found stuff for the Shifter But I couldn't find anything on the moon speaker).
Edit#2: Sorry I should have specified that I'm looking for a pathfinder version of the moonspeaker PRC.

Welcome. I think we have the same kind of puffed-up self-importance here, but we also recognize the value of a friendly community, and we have moderators who'd rather set a good example with civil posts, rather than strict deletion and banning policing.
The moonspeaker (all one word) prestige class is in Races of Eberron. (If you don't have access to that book, it turns out to be on clearance through Paizo.
And regarding the victuals, we have a member of the community who has garnered a reputation for greeting new people with freshly-baked virtual baked goods.

I suppose the first step would be to make a Pathfiner version of the Shifter race.
And note that Prestige Classes, as a general concept, are not as attractive under Pathfinder rules as they are under D&D 3.5. (For one thing, favored class rules have changed.) If you want the Moonspeaker PrC to have the same shine as it would under 3.5, you'll want to boost its abilities.

Not familiar with it but I thought I might be able to help by pointing out the Free Pathfinder Conversion Guide which should help you quickly and easily convert the 3.5 PRC to Pathfinder Rules.
BTW, Welcome to the boards. If you want help converting the class I would suggest starting a thread specifically asking for help converting X class and the community will respond in droves.

We have already modified the Shifter for pathfinder and I could mod the PRC myself but I'm having trouble figuring the prerequisites for entering the class without making it to hard or to easy to get into.

Correct. You have to meet all prerequisites before selecting a level in the prestige class.

No, you need the 8 ranks before you may take the PRC. AS you must be 8th level to have 8 ranks, you can not take the PRC at level 8 as you will only have 7 before you level
At the start of level 9 you will have 8 ranks, and at that point you can then take the PRC
By the way this is not a new rule. In 3.5 you needed 11 ranks, which meant 8th level, so in 3.5 you still could not take the PRC before 9th level
