Actually having honey chipolte glazed chicken tonight. I had red meat last night though.
Aw, I had turkey sausage this morning. I'll have to get meatier later today.
I had a bacon hamburger for lunch (from Five Guys), and I'll be having a roast for dinner....
Dang, Five Guys is really branching out--when did they begin to spread from VA? I had no idea, and there's one in Big D now! They're awesome.
There are now (at least) two in Knoxville, TN.
/not that we're a backwater, but we don't usually get the first wave of new franchises

Edit: Nothing against Five Guys, just trying to eliminate fast food from my diet.

Had eggs and sausage for breakfast. Taking the future in-laws to Longhorn steakhouse tonight to thank them for helping with the wedding.

I had a classic veggie sub (peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese) with bacon for lunch. They always look at me funny, but I think the bacon really goes will with the classic veggie.
Not that there is much in this world that isn't improved by bacon...
After smelling branding smoke all morning, I really feel like a big meaty hamburger.
EDIT: With bacon
Go, GW! So, was it Halloween and Bachelor party?
Set, I think it's the crunch -- makes perfect sense to me. I've got to remember to do that.
Aberzombie wrote: I had a bacon hamburger for lunch (from Five Guys), and I'll be having a roast for dinner.... Five Guys is my heaven, we have 3 of them in the Myrtle Beach area now.... that makes me happy. :D

Edit: Nothing against Five Guys, just trying to eliminate fast food from my diet. Five Guys is NOT fast food. They use real, fresh ground beef, and fresh potatoes. Everything is handmade on site and taste like you did it yourself, only better.

I can't wait to get back to Killeen and my Five Guys, and Chipotle, and Genghis Grill. *drools*
Why are we eating red meat? I guess I was lucky they were serving steak for dinner tonight...
Ah, I missed the link. Very classy. *eyeroll*
I'm not belittling others' choices, I'm just threatening domestic animals that aren't pets with gleeful consumption.
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: I'm not belittling others choices, I'm just threatening domestic animals that aren't pets with gleeful consumption. Hey, I'm not a vegetarian because I like animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants. ;)
It's the CIR-CLE of LIIIIFE...
Mairkurion {tm} wrote: It's the CIR-CLE of LIIIIFE... I always hated that sort of information. The fact that poo turns into grass, gets eaten by cattle, becomes meat and then I turn it back into poo doesn't really whet my appetite.
I often eat vegetarian (lost 85 lbs and stopped being diabetic by going veggie for six months), just for the health benefits (and cause it's cheap). Growing up on a cattle farm, where we butchered our own animals, I've no qualms at all about eating meat, and find it eye-rollingly hilarious when someone sees me eating a salad and mocks me for being a vegetarian (which I'm really not). I had more steak by the time I was eight than most people eat in their whole life, and I've personally killed and butched the animals to get it. I eat meat whenever I want, don't feel guilty about it, and don't need to be picked on when I'm in the mood for a salad.
Vegetarian-taunters are just silly. It's like being teased by smokers.
I go vegetarian for Lent. It simultaneously increases my respect for the Veg crowd and my appreciation for the animals I eat.
I made a vegan chocolate and orange Cthulu cake for Halloween yesterday. It was delicious.
And maddening. But in a tasty way.

not trying to be funny, but I allready effed it up for today before I thought to myself, "hey, wtf....might as well do it."
I had chicken nuggets for lunch. I don't really eat a lot of red meat, but I do enjoy a good burger from time to time.
Also, regarding Five Guys (since several people brought it up), we have them clear up here in Albany, NY too. Just an FYI for people who care.
Ok; I give up; why is there a rememberance to eat read meat?

I had ham & cheese scrambled eggs with french toast for breakfast. A couple of members of our gaming group are continuing an ongoing cook-off today. Tonight: Battle Stew; the competitors: Dave's tasty pork stew and Shari's Irish stew.
Oh, and tomorrow I'm having Mexican style pulled pork.. Go vegans.

Ah-haha! Awesome & fun-looking, with tentacles all bursting through the cake.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm having beef vegetable soup tonight. Does that count?
It's pretty conservative, because I gained almost 10 pounds during October from candy and baked goods, so I'm going to watch it between now and Thanksgiving.

Yep, last night was pretty rough on me. But on the bright side, my friends helped put several exotic dancers through school.
Poor fella. Well, at least it was, as you say, all for a good cause...
People. The other red meat.

I always watch what I eat. How else am I going to get the fork in without hurting someone?

Set wrote: ... and don't need to be picked on when I'm in the mood for a salad. You get taunted for eating a salad? You must hang around some strange people. Last night, we had two guys eating salads at the game (6 guys total), and nobody made fun of them. You sure those folks picking on you aren't doing it just to pick on you (that is they don't give a rat's ass about your salad).

But why would you want to eat Mairkurian {tm}?
