Started it's own discussion thread in the movie section.Okay, observations of 2012. First it is a long movie, almost 3 hours. And it is definately an Emmerich movie, lots of explosions and destructions of recognizable landmarks. Some pretty implausable moments, but over all it is a good flick. Not only is it the mother of all disaster flicks, but it is also an excellent human drama. I don't know that I can say much more with out giving too much away. However, when the largest airplane in the world the Antanov 500 has a starring role, you know that the film is epic.I might check it out, then. I'll drag my son to go see it while my wife and daughter see New Moon (gack).
Of course, Ninja Assassin is coming out Thanksgiving week. :)

Over all Friday the 13th has been a remarkably good day. I had enough work to keep me busy without overwhelming me and I did not have to go hither, thither and yon around Savannah dealing with troubles. I then took my mutt for an hour and a half walk after I got home (around 4 to 6 mile walk) and the weather was very nice. Not too chilly except for the last 10 to 15 minutes of the walk. Lovely, clear, cloudless night with a lot of bright stars out. Orion was in my view for most of the walk. The mutt had a good time too. Now that I have showered, I am going to play some City of Heroes and then go to bed.

~grins~ Despite only working on 20 minutes of sleep, I am doing pretty good. One callout (6 am to 7 am) and breakfast. Not bad. Now to try and get some sleep.
P.S. - It is amazing how bright the sun is this early in the morning. ~wide grin~

Well I've got a chest cold so I had to cancel Pathfinder today. And my three year old came to the bed AGAIN and I didn't get much sleep. But I have the Bestiary!
