Salama,
During the Alpha 1,2,3 and Beta playtest, my players LOVED.... L, O, V, E, D your horizontal, artistic, colorful version of the Pathfinder RPG character sheet.
As a special request.... could anyone within earshot of SALAMA, please ask him to make a 2 and 4 page beauty for 'ol PAX.
I really liked the horizontal layout, but, if you do go 4 pages this time, could you place the information evenly so that it can fold into a booklet, and lay it out in booklet format... pg 4, pg 1, pg 2, pg 3, in that order so that it prints double-sided and folds nicely.
... just wondering.
For anyone who hasn't seen SALAMA's character sheets, they were amazing!
—Pax
P.s. I suppose its worth asking.... has anyone made artistic character sheets for Pathfinder RPG since yesterday? If so, we'd love to see them. We've got a v.3.5 game tomorrow, and a Pathfinder RPG game on Monday night.... so please hurry!

Wow, thanks mate! I have first page ready for my final sheet with new background art. I have still some work to do with another pages. The sheet will be 4 pages, and it is possible that I could make a booklet version of it... I'll let you know when it's ready!

For that matter...
KaeYoss, any news of an update of your cool landscaped character sheet for PF now that the book is out (I have your beta and 3.5 sheets)?
-That One Digitalelf Fellow-
Yeah, now that you mention it, I have updated my sheet just a couple of hours ago.
I have the creeping suspicion that I did miss something. I did add CMD, and updated the body slots to reflect PFRPG's list (since there were a couple of changes there), and I use the newer, more shiny logo.
I'm also using a different software now, and there might have been irregularities during the conversion.
If you find anything amiss or messed up, let me know.

Necros — looks good.
KayYoss — very nicely done!
Salama - I cannot wait to see your glorious character sheet!
You are all jems in my book! Thank you all.
Let's keep this thread going for other versions so we'll have a variety for players to choose from.
And, I'm going to throw my own home-made character sheet in too. (Not because my homebrew character sheet is any better, but just to contribute a bit to all the fun around Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.)
My Pathfinder weekly game is tomorrow, so Salama, if you happen to be working on it today, that is optimal, but I know from past experience that the iteration will likely be tweaked again, so I won't make a Kinkos/FedEx print run just yet. I'll just run some copies on my printer—but probably only in b/w until you let us know the sheet is final, then I'll run some color copies of your sheet—the group really liked those!
I am hoping to keep a variety of good ones in my gameroom. I'll let the players select whichever they like best from ... Necros, KaeYoss, and the incredible Salama, others? and print them on card stock just like the old days. Maybe even print some on goldenrod paper too. Everything else about Pathfinder RPG is high quality, so I'd like to let my players drive the cadillac of character sheets as well.
Thanks guys!
—Pax

Both character sheets are very nice... but I won't be able to use them for Pathfinder Society unless you add a faction[/] slot. A [b]homeland slot would be nice too.
On design, I must admit I prefer how the official sheet has both CMB and CMD together, but that is just my preference. Other than that, amazing work, all of you!

Give me your email address, and I can send you the version I'm working on. It has some new stuff, and it would be great if you tested it before I make the final version! I'm not going to get to play the game until two weeks from now, so it would be cool if you could test the sheet in play.

Send me a character sheet for the Pathfinder DB :)
Hee hee. I think I thought of an error - it seems that armour penalty is now linked to key ability score (i.e. everything linked to str and dex gets the penalty now) and I'm not sure whether it was that way before, so I'll have to check my sheet for that when I get home (in another 9 hours or so). I'll update it then.
I'll try to think of the DB.

I've got my character sheet updated to the final version. It is Excel-based, rather than a PDF, so it does a lot of the muscle work for you but isn't necessarily as pretty. Future versions will have full automation for classes and feats, and I've been thinking on alternate output formats to include portrait, landscape, stat-block, DM summary card, and "card deck" (all character abilities/feats/spells on printable 3"x5" cards).
veector is hosting mine over at his Pathfinder Database.

Sounds good. Let's keep this thread going for other versions—even if those version are hosted elsewhere. Just point to them, and we can update the list of pointers every so often.
I'm updating my home made character sheet and will be posting a link.
So far..... we've had the Classic PAIZO Pathfinder Roleplaying Game character sheet, and Salama's at the table. ——Would you believe the PCs that started using Salama's in Alpha, then Beta don't wish to change sheets yet, preferring to use the one they've been using?@?!? During the Beta Playtest, I had them "write-in" a CMD factor box, so really they're not that far off. Salama: sorry my fb will be delayed, as I didn't get any last Monday. I'll ask for some more this coming Monday and let you know. Keep 'em comin' !!!

Oh, no worries =). I had some feedback from other testers, and sent an updated sheet to you too!

Salama, would it be possible for me to get an updated sheet, too? I'm running a Second Darkness game in Pathfinder final tomorrow, and would like to have a sheet that reflects the final rules for character updates.

This thread is perhaps the most useful on the boards.
I would request of those artistic and computer inclined to make a pdf character sheet that automatically calculates many numbers based on input boxes, particularly ability bonuses to skills, class skill bonuses, and spell save DCs. Also a stat block template that fits a 3x5 or 4x6 card would be unbelievably helpful to GMs out there.
Maybe Ill give this a try... Ive never made an interactive pdf and im not artistic so I cant promise much.

My Runelords is starting up again after Gen Con on Monday, and we have been using your Sheet too Salama. If possible could you send whatever you have for the final to me?

See above bolded text, I really like this part. Especially if it would lessen the amount of time I myself spend making stat cards and spell cards in Word.

That's a pretty important part for me as well--my end goal is being able to work up a character quickly, then have all the relevant information easy to access while running a game. I've been a fan of feat, monster, and spell cards ever since The Other Game Company first came out with their sets. The one piece they were missing was changing the stats as the character grows/changes automatically.
If you're interested in the progress, I've got a thread for discussing the sheet that all are welcome to join:
erian_7's Excel-based Character Sheet
I'm actually at a point right now of deciding between a sheet-based approach for displaying class abilities vs. a card-based approach.

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for interest in my sheet! I think I have now nailed what I want in my sheet and it will be ready soon. I'll post a link in here when it's done!
That is wonderful news! I really enjoy your character sheet.
To anyone else, you work is appreciated. Don't feel discouraged by all the "Salama love." Character sheets are very much like art, no one sheet will have everyone like it. If your sheet gets even one user, then you have done your part in helping the community.
And the PF DB is a wonderful site, thanks veector (I am assuming it is your work).

Oh my GODS!!! This is awesome news!
Salama your Landscape sheets were the ONLY sheets I ever used from the moment I first downloaded them. I still have half a dozen printed up from BETA to work on Character concepts that popped into my head at odd times.
I am waiting for these sheets on the edge of my seat!
(I can't beleive I missed the playtest too!!!)

You're absolutely right! I don't even use my own sheets with all my characters. Sometimes I have a concept for character that works better with someone else's design. It's great to have vertical and horizontal sheets, sheet with color and sheets without background, excel sheets etc. And it's great that everyone in here shares their designs!

I'm a big fan of KaeYoss's layout, but not the choice in font. I especially like how he saved room calculating Melee/Ranged bonus, and drew attention to the concepts of Flat Footed vs. Touch AC. That's something I always thought was really neat but seemed complex to new players, and that format really makes it obvious. Good going man!

I've been using your 4 page (including spellbook & animal pages) editable PDF Beta sheets for over a year now. These are the greatest character sheets I have ever used. I can't wait for the updated version!

I really like how you broke down the weapon area and shows were each bonus comes from. Great Idea.

First, I have a request, Salama: Lots of people either don't want to print color, or can't, so I'd like to see a sheet without the background print all over it.
Second:
I like all the character sheets that have been posted up to this point. The issue with a lot of them, unfortunately, is that my players tend to like two-page sheets, as that enables them to have one front/back piece of paper to worry about during a game.
I've done a one-page sheet for 4ed before. I didn't personally like it, but It'd be easy enough to accomplish. Would that interest you?
Mind you, extra information like spells and powers will still require a second sheet, but that could just be lined paper or something else.
Take care.

Request: Yea I should upload a version without background too.
Second: two page sheets are easy to make but hard to use. There's just not enough space. Of course if you play non-caster, there is no problem. But spells take room, as Neceros said, there has to be another page for them. I know there is a section for spells in the official sheet, and it's a two-page sheet, but the room is absolutely too small for me... Phillip0614, I hope you try my character sheet, which can be printed in one sheet of paper (for non-casters).

Don't see why not. I'd certainly be interested in seeing it, at the very least.

Thanks for the Sheet Salama. My player's loved the Beta and we waited a week to rewrite characters until this came out.
The way you did this works for me in other games as well the one I run. Having everything in the first 2 pages with extra room makes it great during the game. My non Spell casters like that there isn't a spell area on their sheet, and my Spell casters love having the spells on a separate page so it works!
