Blog Tags are Awesome!

Hey guys,

I just had to say, the new blog tags (links beneath each blog article post) are awesome! They provide a quick, easy new way of navigating blog posts, instead of using search, or paging backwards month by month.

Might I suggest you add a blog tag "character", or "NPC", or "portrait", or something similar? I love the iconics and other character artwork that has been posted on the blog. I often print them off onto parchment-styled paper, and print the character sheet on the flip-side. Being able to locate these easily in one page list would be great!

Hear, hear! This is a nice little addition and one that will help me navigate the blog much better when linking to a specific post from another site or the boards. Great work, Gary.

Yes, they are a nice addition.
Speaking of the blog, I was so excited last night when the new posting showed up. I thought, "Double Blog Day" without looking to see it had tomorrow (now today's) date on it. Therefore, I think today should be a double blog day. We've had two lovely preview illustrations...maybe it is time for Jacobs Part Deux.

I agree, blog tags are a great idea.

Also nice that the artists are all getting tagged when their art shows up, it gives us a better ability to give props where they are due

I made a Portraits tag. Note that monsters are often portrayed portrait-style, but they have their own tag.

That is sweet, thanks Gary.

Thanks Gary, this is perfect :-)

Oh, one more thing would be a "nice to have" is if the word "Tags:" before the tag list for each article could also link as a shortcut to the listing of all tags page. The Paizo / Blog / Tags page makes for an excellent category index by which to browse blog posts on a given topic. (sorry, I'd link to the page myself here, but I'm browsing/messaging via mobile phone, so that's a bit difficult for me to do right now).

Cheers :-)

wow! looking at http://paizo.com/paizo/blog/tags/ you have quite a few tags in place!

They are very awesome. Don't have to use the SEARCH anymore for trying to find something in the blog. Good move!

Adding my appreciation for the Blog Tags, having just spotted them, and about to bookmark the tag central page. Thank-you to whoever thought of/installed this.
Now I don't have to rummage through the archives quite s much if I want an iconic's back story, or to check what the blog said Paizo were doing at GenCon 2008. :)

I just noticed this was done, so I guess you thought it was a good idea too ;-) Thanks Gary ;-)

We've organized the blog tags a bit. Some of my favorite pages:

People, Artists and Authors
Classes
Pathfinder Adventure Path
Iconics
Locations
Planet Stories
