(Though it doesn't follow the guidelines set by the preformatted stat block, so - as far as I can tell - isn't valid for contest use.)

Well done to all those advancing.

I think it's a fine test of candidates' ability to adapt and shouldn't have come as a great surprise. It will be interesting to see how people who may have spent a lot of time towards a single game plan will handle it.

Congrats to the Top 8! While I was impressed with this second round of villains and really thought just about everyone really stepped it up (after a somewhat lackluster first batch of villains), I must admit this is a final 8 to be proud of and it I think does reflect the best of the batch. Very well done. I cant wait to see what happens in the next round!

And a recommendation for maps;

Inkscape is a free vector design program. If you want something that will produce a bit higher quality maps than can be created with MS Paint, it might be what you're looking for. It's the opensource version of Adobe Illustrator.
