Worry not.If Paizo chooses to do an RPG Superstar again next year, be assured that I will take what I have learned from this year and that I will try again.
After all, part of being a freelance writer is being able to make the most of a "rejection."
(Not that getting past round 1 is as easy as it sounds. :D )

Well, I'll be trying for a third year, so you have done better than I have.

Exactly. And it shows the magnitude of what the top 16 contestants have accomplished. :D

Congrats to all who advanced, the top 17. I think it's totally awesome that there was a tie for the last spot in, and that the Paizonians in their infinite wisdom decided to advance both instead of trying to invent some wonky tiebreaker.
To all the round 3 contestants, heed your feedback, look at last year's villain threads for stat-block-relevant comments, and get ready to rock the house!
P.S. If any of your villains contain familiars, companions, or cohorts, it might be a good idea to use the BB tags for bold or "OOC" text to increase the visibility of that part of their entry in the text. I ran into that issue last year with Avinash and his rider, who was his cohort and included in the feat section, but most people apparently couldn't find it. That said, I haven't looked at this year's stat block format, so if that seems like something that would break the format, use your best judgment.
