~glances about warily~
I know I’m not supposed to be in here, but just wanted to say a belated congratulations to all the Top 32, but especially to the Top 8.
Guys, I just voted, but I really, really struggled to narrow it down to two. Your entries show that you ALL really deserve to have made it this far, and I’d be interested to see what any of you did with an adventure proposal (or full blown adventure for that matter).
Any of the eight could potentially have gotten my vote, but there were about 5 in particular that I found really difficult to narrow down. I’m still not entirely sure that I’m not going to change my mind (and vote) between now and close of voting…
Well done again.

Question: after the contest is over and we've taken time to celebrate the crowning of this year's RPG Superstar, would anyone else be interested in a few informal design contests? Superstar-like challenges every few weeks leading up to the Pathfinder release in August. (I figure folks on the forums will be busy talking about the new game after that, but there are a few months to kill before then.)
I know I'd be interested in practicing my design skills in a Superstar-like setting, even if it is just a fan-run affair. And I'd certainly appreciate a place where I can get some more constructive criticism from my peers. If I'm not the only one who feels this way, let me know; I'd love to get some folks together and organize something like this once the real contest is over.
(I thought I'd ask in the Guildhall first to see if I can't get a few of the Top 32 interested. I can't deliver any professional judges, but I figured a few Superstar finalists, or maybe some Pathfinder contributors, would add a modicum of gravitas to an informal contest. Anyone, of course, would be welcome to participate, not just the Top 32.)

Definitely, just picked up Kobld Quarterly Guide to Game design 1 and 2 and want to put the tips into practice as soon as I read through them.

I was thinking that after the contest we should keep using this space to post treats from the top 32. You can make it contest-like if you want but if one of us adds a sea sworn template to a creature for their home game, they could post it here for the community at large. Design a new trap you think is neat, post it.

Or, you could form a new writer's support group to critique and encourage one another's work. Then take on a snappy, marketable name...you know, something like the Wereca--
...ummm, yeah, something like the Werecarrots!
That would be cool.

Certainly. I don't want to discourage people from posting whatever interesting stuff they want to share.
I was just hoping there would be some way to get practice working on unexpected assignments with tight deadlines and hard word counts. I suppose it doesn't have to be a contest; I was just guessing that someone whose opinions have a quantifiable impact on the outcome of something would be more likely to comment on a post than a passive reader.

Let's get this party started ...
C'mon, this was an awesome round and some great work was presented.
Kudos all around. I'm very proud to find myself alongside such talented folks. This competition is an absolute blast! And, no matter how things turn out, I'm glad to have played a part in it.
Sincerely,

I feel the same way. If the exit polls are right, this is my last stop. Still, I think considering how excellent the entries were this round, I won't be crying foul when I leave.
I might cry 'fowl' if the right avatar pops in to the guildhall, but not 'foul'. ;-D
