Buy from Paizo

Customer Service

It's only the second year, but I know every year it's going to be the same.

Superstar.

Judges forgo sleep. Gary and Vic keep craggy eyes on the server as it chokes and sputters excess electrons (you do that right Vic?). Would be game writers clickety-click through the boards. And all the while, the awesomest, most kindiferous (and extremely bizarre) board regulars have to put up with the lagging load times while wasting even more work hours than usual playing games with virtual imaginary characters and arguing semantics with Weiss.

So while I'm waiting for my PBP to load I thought I'd suggest to some of you lurking aspirants to buy stuff from Paizo, because their stock and their customer service is totally AWESOME!

I live in China for heaven's sake and their stuff arrives here on time and undamaged every month without fail.

Here, here!
I am in total agreement friend.
I love Paizo's Customer Service team, I enjoy (and love) their products, and have no qualms what-so-ever continuing to buy from and support them.
( I recently changed avatar images... I like this one way more.) :-)

Won't the influx in internet orders further burden the servers? Boycott I say!

But really, yeah. This is a great suggestion. Thanks Kruelaid!

Yah, maybe they should have a sale, too. Not.

I just re-started my subscription a few days ago. I had originally cancelled at the end of CotCT in the hopes that the other DM would pick up Second Darkness. Those hopes have been dashed and it stunk not getting the PDF with the regular issue. It was nice seeing the PDF early this morning.

Heh every last gamer budget dollar is going to Paizo already.

That's kind of funny, the physical product all starts in China so your product makes a long trip out and back.

I buy most everything game related from Paizo weather it is there stuff or not, just to help them out.

Hell I even started buying their Paizo milk. I am not sure who they milk at the office for it and I don't want to know.

I won't tell you, then. I will tell you that Paizo beer comes from a tap in Jason Bulmahn's left leg.

You're tempting me to cancel my subscriptions, Vic. Keep it up.

I'm doing my part, man!

Got a shipment of Paizo materials Monday (01/19). (Final 3 books of CotCT (AP 10-12), module U2, module J1, Second Darkness Item Card Deck)

Got a shipment of Green Ronin sale materials from Paizo Wednesday (01/21). (Advanced Gamemaster's Manual, Sidewinder: Recoiled)

My Superscriber subscription is on its way as we speak. (*waves around a tracking number*)

Ordered two Falcon's Hollow modules (D1 and D1.5) and both straight and diagonal cone templates and they're in processing.

I'm throwing money at Paizo right and left. (I love getting the freebie Hero's Hoard item card packs with my orders, btw.)

I'm considering leaving the job I currently have so I'm siphoning off money into a Paypal account to continue to pay for my subscriptions at least through the end of Paizo 3.5e materials whether I have work or not.

Short of coming there and literally just working for RPG materials with no monetary compensation whatsoever, I think I'm on top of it.

Don't tell me I need to buy more! ..... I might just listen.

Scarab Sages

Maybe we can start a voluntary dollar per order fund for the purpose of increasing the server capacity to support our posting habits? Add a box next to the subscription fields that asks “would you like to contribute one dollar to the server upgrade fund”.

Crap. Is everyone else still getting these? 'Cause I didn't get any with my last order. :(

Can't really go on the Customer Service thread and complain: "Hey! You know that free gift I didn't order or pay for but you just include out of the goodness of your heart? Well, I didn't get it, and I demand restitution!"

Oh well. I'll be making another order before the end of the month to use my holiday discount. Maybe Paizo will love me again by then. *snif*

They throw them in every few orders. You won't always get one, but be sure to check under the bottom flaps of the box, I almost threw out my last free pack. I've gotten about 15-20 free packs in 40+ orders.

i didn't got them in my last 2 shipping, Vic you are not giving them anymore? it fell just there and i thought it was free? or its just an evil plan to have me grabedinto the cards?

i am doing my part... i am hunting all APs before 2nd Darkness, but its a slow process... specially since i need to do something that would get killed me at home :P (aside of my credict card debt)

i ask one of my father's co-workers in US to recieve my books then when he cames he gives them to another one of his co-workers... one who is about my age.... whogave them to me within the week of Paizo delivering it...

still cheaper and it arrives earlier than asking the same mail option dfdfdelivrtrf in mrcicp

i almost did thesame with the 1st one :P the only reason i didn't was because i tried to bend the card folder and i was unable, i checed and i found them

In my experience, they only come with regular orders, not subscription orders. And ya, love 'em too. I hoard the actual *decks* I buy, but the freebies are much easier to give away.

Yeah I don't recall ever getting one in a subscription order but think i have got one in every normal order.

I have placed quite a few orders and never gotten the freebie items. :(

We still throw in the item cards randomly—though we avoid doing so when throwing them in would put them into the next postage weight class!

The main subscription shipment run needs to be as efficient as possible, so we usually don't toss in cards there. (I think we might have done them with Pathfinder 1 or 2, but it just slows the whole fulfillment operation down.)

Other than that, it really is random, done at the whim of the warehouse folks.

I'll have to remember that when I'm working in the warehouse. That is after I'm hired. Which will be sometime after I apply. Which will be sometime after I have the money to move.

How about..."I solemnly swear that the first freelancing check I receive will immediately return to Paizo coffers". Will that work?

Until then, or until I finish up this PhD and get a real job, or until my husband finishes up his PhD and becomes my sugar-daddy, I'm afraid my grocery budget comes first. :(

But I still have the last half of STAP to run my group through, so it's all good in the meantime.

Yeah, I have a feeling that my first freelancing check (whenever that happens, and whoever it's from) will be winding up with the good folks at Paizo in short order. I still need the last two volumes of RotRL, after all...and the first 5 of CotCT >_>

Hi, my name is Dane, and I'm a Paizaholic.

Or would that be Paizoholic. Paizoaholic?
