Kava incants "Bahamut ekess Canas"
Hurling her shield at the skeletons as a distraction Kava races towards the southern stairs crossing between the speedy halfling and the priest of storm "Divide and conquer little Manticore", racing towards A'loran and almost absent mindedly catching the shield on her wrist and it careens off the tunnel wall to her.

If Canas is in the AoE of my DivMettle burst10 (the corners are) I'll give him another save at +3 with it;
Ranged shield attack at S4; Run to s14;

Kava's words wash over Canas and he stands a little straighter, his body finally resisting the necrotic filth of the zombie bite.Canas makes his save (13).
Kava's shield smashes into the ledge below the skeleton and then flies around the corner and up the stairs, back to her hand. Kava missed S4 (10 vs. AC).

The man at the top of the steps shouts out commands, "Archers adjust! Zombie, rise!" The skeletons immediately step to cover the stairways and one of the fallen zombies stands. Then, left with no other targets, he flings to bolts of darkness at Rulf. Pain bolt vs. Rulf's Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 281d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 and Rulf takes a -2 to all defenses until the end of JF's next turn.

Rulf smashes the newly risen zombie through the chest before making his way to the stairs. The corpse drags behind him for a few feet before falling off the hammer. Rulf hit (21 vs. AC) and killed Z1.

The doors slam shut.

In the right hand gallery, the skeletons stand at the top of the stairs and fire down on Latro. S1 vs. Latro's AC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

"I'll be right back Canas. I gotta find a better shot."

Latro heads down the stairs and disappears around the corner. He gives Kava a toothy smile and a wink and then jumps forward to the corner. A glint of steel flashes in the torchlight as a shuriken flies at the skeleton.

Latro dupes the skeleton and his throwing knife cuts a gash in its skull. Latro hit S1 for 22 damage and S1 is bloodied.

The clang of armor rings out as Kava rushes the skeletons. Her sword catches on its leather armor and she winds up striking only the empty space beneath its ribs. Kava missed S4 (13 vs. AC).

As the rest of the party is occupied by skeletons, the man at the top of the steps shouts out orders to them before focusing on Rulf. Kava hit S3 with a basic melee attack (16 vs. AC) for 10 damage and S3 is bloodied. Z1 stands.
Then he chants and a claw of red mist forms near Rulf. Crimson Claw vs. Rulf's Fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 202d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9 and ongoing 5 damage and the target is immobilized (save ends both).

Don't know if it really matters, but Latro did 24 points to S1, not 22. The 22 was his attack roll.

Male Dwarf Cleric 4 (battle)

Although ahh hate ta admit it, ahh might be in a wee bit a bother here Rulf says between strikes of his axe at the zombie that just won't stay on the ground. Realising his legs won't move he calls on Kord for renewal.

Rulf hacks down the zombie again, and manages to free himself from the misty claw's grasp. Rulf spends a surge and heals 15. Rulf hit and destroyed Z1 (22 vs. AC). Rulf made his save (11)

Canas suffers the full brunt of the skeletons on his side. S1 and S2 vs. Canas' AC (includes concealment): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Male Halfling Rogue - 4

To Canas, "It's alright Canas. I've got these guys. Go help the rest of the party. I'm going to make me some bone meal, like in that fairy tale that my mother used to tell me about the halfling boy who climbed the beanstalk!"

With that, Latro grins broadly at Canas and moves down a couple of stairs. He then jumps forward and flicks his wrist as he releases another shuriken.

If S1 remains after Canas's attack, move back two, hide, and then use Deft Strike to return to the corner. If S1 is dead, hide, use Deft Strike to move to s1 to attack S2, realizing that S2 has cover. Then move back to the corner with his move action.

With CA:
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 231d6 + 4 + 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + (5, 5) + 2 = 18

Because of the hard corner you'd need to go 3 squares. So DC 15 with a running start or 30 from standing. I'd set the DC at 15 for an Acrobatics stunt to swing around the wall.

Hit: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 force damage
Move to L16

A'loran ducks the arrow and points his staff at the skeleton. Miniscule daggers materialize around it and cut the bones in hundreds of places. A'loran hit S2 for 10 damage and daggers fill square M4.

The zombie staggers over towards Rulf and tries to pummel him from around the corner. Z1 vs. Rulf's AC (includes cover): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 for 6 damage.

Z1 missed.
FYI, the galleries are only 5 feet higher than the ledge. Moving away from the edge of the gallery will give JF cover from you, but will not affect his line of sight to you. This is due to the pick one corner of your square and connect it to all 4 corners of the target's square (PH 280). JF would use the top of his square (5' high) and have clear line of sight into most of the gallery.

Latro moves around the corner, and not seeing the skeleton, he moves along the wall. Plastering himself against the wall in hopes of not being seen, he jumps forward and looses a shuriken at the nearest enemy.
