Canas was born and raised in *Large City*. He became a scholar and was approached by The Harbingers of Elidyr to join in exchange for secret knowledge. Canas joined, and he learned the art of vestige-binding faster than most. This ended up having some odd effects on his appearance. Realizing that it's a bit hard to be secret with a scribe with glowing eyes around, they sent him off to Fallcrest. Canas now lives in the Nentir Inn, searching for work while waiting for a message from the cabal that he can return home.
Appearance: Canas is a rather average-looking man with short brown hair, other than three things.
One; the owl that usually sits on his shoulder. Sometimes he even seems to speak to it, for some reason.
Two; sometimes his eyes seem to shine unnaturally, as if they were lit from behind.
Third; Occasionally, when you look at him from the corner of your eye when he is especially stressed, he seems to be a completely different person. For example, he may look like a regal warrior in battered armor, covered in wounds and holding a shattered sword, but then you turn to look and he's just a man in a robe.
Personality: Canas is generally a happy, optimistic person, although he can occasionally get too caught up in his studies. For some reason, people just seem to be willing to tell him things they wouldn't tell other people.

Warlock's Curse: An arcane rune appears on the foe's forehead.
Shadow Stride: Canas fades out slightly (except for his eyes, which glow more brightly), and the image of his current vestige flickers in around him (like if someone took video of Canas walking and spliced in a few frames of the vestige walking, this is what it would look like) Note: Canas doesn't do this all the time.
Eyes of THe Vestige: Canas' eyes glow brighter, but the enemy's eyes burn brighter still as a vestige begins scouring its mind from the inside.
