You know you're addicted to the Pathfinder forum when...

...you've started thinking of your two oldest children as Alpha 1 and Alpha 2.

...you're convinced that the Forum Monster ate that sock you lost in the drier.

...you're feeling particularly smurfy.

...you've beaten a Dead Horse.

...you've dropped out of school because your classes aren't giving you at least 4+Int skill points.

...you've considered starting a thread entitled "[Think Tank] Think Tanks."

...you're first instinct when someone cuts you off in traffic is to shout "4e fanboy!"

...you've beaten a Dead Horse at least twice.

...you've never driven a Porsche, but are convinced you could make a tire to improve its handling.

...you don't let your kids watch episodes of Sesame Street brought to you by the number "4" and the letter "E."

...you've bribed Jason Bulmahn with pizzas and a case of beer in an effort to speed up the design process.

...you've beaten a Dead Horse at least thrice.

...you've announced at least once that someone, somewhere, has fired you as a customer.

...you've actually posted a thread in the GM Tools subforum.

...you've just spent an hour of your free time thinking up signs that you're addicted to the Pathfinder forum.

Paizo Employee CEO

You start up a company to produce RPG products when you should have followed your mother's advice and gotten a good job with one of those big paper companies back in Wisconsin. :)

Thanks for the great laugh!

-Lisa

Former VP of Finance

...you've lain in wait for Jason in the hallways of the Paizo office to waylay him with your playtest notes from the previous evening's game.

...you have to keep telling your friends "Not quite yet." when they ask, "So, is the Beta ready yet?"

Well Paizo is involved with paper products, in a manner of speaking.... Some people even describe the games as 'pen and paper games'. :D

Liberty's Edge

... when you would come here over the WOTC boards on any given day of the week ...

When you care about your thread count.

When you get 4e, and it sits unread, while you pore over the alpha.

When you make up character builds on the toilet.

When you spend half an hour at your weekend game talking about what jason said to you on a thread.

When you can't remember your mom's birthday, but know the release date of the beta.

When you think suddenly of the CMB during sex.

When you feel suicidal, and wonder what your fly skill is.

I have "Shift 2" as a Minor Action. Sorry about that.

A goodly number of your RSS feeds are for Paizo forum and staff postings.

Dark Archive

You keep coming back to the message board in between teaching your classes.
You keep the message board open while teaching your classes "just in case."
You've replied to this tread more than once.

Liberty's Edge

you are pestering the DM about this merchant rogue who deosn't like adventuring but who is carried into the role of adventure by his brother in the hopes that he will decide to run the playtest so you could try this said rogue...

complain about complainers when they take about the "realism" of learning so many language, but they forgot we are playing a fantasy game :D

You can tell who is posting 50%+ of the time just by the language that they are using in their posts [ooc]I browse with the images turned off and don't bother to look at the names 1/2 the time anymore

Your Fiend Folio and MM II- V are gathering dust because they 'aren't core'

You start tweaking the skill list

You look forward to Origins for the Paizo booth (and hopefully being able to live blog the seminiars)

You read about a former congressman crashing and go "Damn, must have rolled a one on the fly skill."

You feel personally offended when an alpha mechanic is said to be "Stolen from 4e"

Then you find out your partner was thinking about CMBs too.

When your wife stonily asks you "Who is Seoni?"

Dark Archive

When your wife tells you that she would rather have you spend your time doing pyramid schemes.

P.S. I had a friend who's wife got him involved in a multi-level marketing plan to keep him from playing rpgs.

How do you turn the images off?

That would be awesome for pissing the time away at work...hypothetically speaking, of course...

The WebDeveloper plug in for Firefox lets you turn off images...quite handy. :)

Conversely, you spend time during many lunches and dinners talking about paizo.com messageboard folks, and just mentioning their avatar names is good enough for most Paizo folks to know who you are talking about.

You mean the 'Lords of the Boards Assemble' thread isn't any assistance to you in identifying which of us you need to keep an eye on? :D

Firefox: Tools menu > Options > Content tab > deselect Load images automatically

IE: Tools menu > Internet Options > Advanced > deselect Show Pictures, Deselect Show image download placeholders

Opera: dunno

Can't believe you didn't know that mate - especially seeing the timestamp on some of your posts...

Paizoans talking about individual posters during their breaks... now if that doesn't make one paranoid I don't know what will. :)

Illuminati actually, and although I already posted about that on another thread, I'm not really allowed to give out the details anywhere else. I mean I get some leeway as a geologist, but they might have to make you disappear.

Woah!

That is nice; I won't get any work done now...

I was thinking there was an option in the 'My Account' page, that I'd missed.

I've always relied on my class feat: Quick Draw (Alt+Tab). :)

You take time out of DMing a game to check the boards.

You always have Paizo up in an open window and the refresh button is your best friend.
