This is Trey. At the tone leave your name and message, I'll get back to you.
[Beeep] Trey, directions to the party: left on Sagas, you'll see a rock, left, left again, right, another left, there's kinda a hill, keep going, you'll probably see a bunch of cars.
Wow, I haven't heard that or seen the opening since I was a kid. I immediately started to think of pork chops, navy beans and macaroni... I think we must have watched it during dinner back in the long ago...
Here's my theme; it's been a favorite since I was a kid. Well, except during my death metal phase...then there was the goth phase...but, anyway--Carmina Burana O Fortuna. The actual piece is much longer and often confused with another great, but more modern piece called Charging Fort Wagner. I know, I know--this is a BSG scene; a little more accessable to an international readership than the American Civil War for which the piece was written (the film Glory).

:P
I've got an old VHS upstairs with nothing on it but all the intros followed by the theme clips. I don't know anybody who did the "guy trying to keep his head above water" bit better than this show.
It's funny, because to my mom, James Garner is always going to be Maverick, but no disrepect to Seoni and the crew, when it comes down to it, in my everyday world Jim Rockford is the iconic. And his dad, Rocky!
;)

This is Cyd's theme
Yea that right it RUSH!
Love the live version with Peart.

Dude, I'm so into Rockford I even watched the TV movies in the late 90's. That's right. I said it. They brought back Angel and Dennis.

For the next hour my theme song shall be Wrath of Kane
I refuse to let a single song define me! I'm a rebel and -- (Cough Wheeze!) Oh someone, get me some water.

Oh, stupid me, I misread you theme song. I thought it said Wrath of Kahn and was looking forward to some Star Trek Music. Sigh! Disappointed again!!!!!

Everyone was going to meaningful sounding soundtracks. I was just feeling a bit less epic. However, this hour I find my theme song has changed to Dee, written by the late Randy Rhoads for his mother Delores.

Don't be disappointed. My new theme song.

Trey's theme.
Wow, that brought back memories.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's an edition to blame,
Now I think, - hell it could be my fault.

Here's mine: From first to last...the peak is never passed...
I had to pick the one with the ANIME VIDEO, of course...wouldn't be a proper Paizonian geek otherwise...

As I'm a complex person, My theme is threefold:
And this brought tears into my eyes (I'd never have thought that a CRPG can do that)

I want in! My theme song is:
*laughs* At least, that's how I'm feeling today, and I couldn't resist the 300 reference. *is of course, violent and historically inaccurate at work ALL the time*
For the more normal day, let's go with a slower, more mildly bitter song:
I'm sure I'll come back and try to change it to something cooler and more 'out there' later.

Here's the longer, better version of Andrew's Theme Song. The initial tempo is a little faster than I really like, but...

Well, thanks everyone...I've played the youtube game for well over an hour now. You know, play the song, see something else that catches your eye, play it and find other songs... :)
As for theme songs... I always said if I were to ever need entrance music I would go with this!
Oh, and another thanks for starting this thread. I hadn't seen this dance sequence in a long time.

Please, Paizo can you insert this little island into Golarion? Pretty Please? With brown sug...no, that's too much brownnosing
Thank you for bringing up my all-time favorite video game and video game soundtrack. Props, homey.

My theme song? Hell, I got a bunch.
LIAR
Slip It In*
Fine Again
Don't Lose Touch
Straight Edge
*I like this demo better than the album version.

Kelvar Silvermace |

Well, I don't have a theme song, but if I *did*, it would probably go a little something like this.
Though, as a lawyer, I've always been partial to this one.

Andrew I really liked that theme song. Excellent for Greyhawk games!

It's hard to pick just one. Imagine the opening credits to a movie by Tarantino. And then put me in it!
But this is sad Yeux music. Or contemplative Yeux. Or something.

You had me at Gundam, but lost mat with SEED. UC forever, pretenders never!
In terms of theme songs, here's my first one from waaay back in high school..the music is right, although I was never a fan of blue mary..]Get through the Dark: Rockman X Original Soundtrack
Here's the second one, although the sound quality isn't so hot, another video game reprise. Laurence Blood's Arrange Theme: Fatal Fury Real Bout
I can't seem to find any others- Nakoruru's Theme from the Samurai Shodown II Original Soundtrack, and Flay Gunnar's Music from the Mana Khemia Original Soundtrack. Oh well.

This is about as close as I can get. Problem is, I don't drink, and I prefer rock to country. The rest of the lyrics, though? Spot on.

Trey |

I'm guessing Toby wrote that, but he's in good company on that song. Willie's been a pretty good hand over the years at writing songs people can relate to, too.

He did and he is. The same can be said about Johnny cash and a great number of other country singers, both old and new. Note that I didn't say "I don't like country" just that I preferred something else. :)

You're welcome. It's the only game I bought twice just to get the soundtrack contained in the special edition. And never did I enjoy the exploration of a world so much as with this game.

Last few days the thing I keep humming is Mr Brownstone
"I dont worry bout nuthin no, cuz worryins a waste of my ...time."

A Working Class Hero..
Or this.
Time

I'm more than passing tempted to go with either "Don't let Start" or "Everything Right is Wrong Again", but really Warren Zevon has some songs that just sound like home to me... such as this one performed by the Boss.

I've never actually watched SEED, but there seems to be a lot of hostility out there towards it...what's up with that?
The main thing was the music..RUSH rules! I was hoping for a Lodoss War, Hellsing, or something like that...this was all that was out there AMV-wise.

SEED is hated on by hardcore, old school Gundam fans because it is, in essence, a re-telling of the original 1979 story with different art, slightly effeminate characters, and similar mecha designs. I fully admit that most fans- myself included- are being childish in this endeavour and that a lot of the hostility is nothing more than the same old old guard vs. young turk struggle we've seen for years, and yet it endures.

DogBone |

Ok, gun to my head, if had to choose, here's DogBone's Theme.
And please, the focus is the music...
DogBone
P.S. Alternate Theme: Tramontane by Foreigner off of Double Vision.

The Jade |

Aw, forget me trying to fake something about this being my theme song. It's just good and you should listen to it now and feel relaxed like I do. Aw yeah.
Ladies and Gentleman, put your hands together for the incomparable Reverend Al Green

Gotcha. I thought I'd feel that way about Battlestar Galactica (the original was one of my favorites as a kid), but I've got to admit that the new show is a far superior product.
My apologies to all for the temporary threadjack, please resume your regularly scheduled theme-song postings.
