Heh, Seems like it! :)
Although as an extremely practical person, the unflappable Hamar will probably be the first to admit that when nothing makes sense, asking questions is the fastest way to get the answer. Or at least AN answer.
(Especially when your traveling with a bunch of deranged, phycopathic murder-hobos! I mean 'Adventurers'.) ;P

Yay! He's still here! :)
Yay! So am I! (mostly, anyway)
Sorry, I' been busy and distracted lately.
(Granted, some of that is entirely my own doing, but still,...)
;P
I going to see my son's Christmas Piano concert (He;s actually pretty good, for someone who has NO interest in piano. But playing is the only way to stay in the Arts Academy and stay in a better school than we are zoned for,... so,...)
But later tonight I will MAKE myself sit down and re-count GP and post something!
:D

Hey Pat!
PM'ing you with a question.
Hope all are having a happy weekend?
I just spent possibly the longest shopping day of my life Doing Christmas shopping.
I am tired, and my feet hurt. ALmost as much as my pocketbook hurts!
Anyhoo,
Kids, wife and I are all off for the holidays now! YAY!(?)
;P
(Been so long since the kids, 1 in college, and 1 in high school, have had to share their bathroom, I'm wondering who is gonna lose it first? The Teenage boy? The 20yr old girl? Or the cranky old wizzie?!?) ;P
I dunno. But I'm taking bets! ;)
Ragadolf
I will look for the PM.
Glad to hear you are having a fun and hectic holiday season. I am currently on an air mattress in my daughter’s apartment in Massachusetts. I am just happy to be able to wake up when I want to :)
I’ll start cogitating stuff.
Oooo,... THAT sounds good too!
(Waking up when you want to I mean. Air mattresses I could live without) ;PEnjoy!
I'll chat ya up when we get the chance! :)

This game has been active for three decades now ... just sayin :D
:-)
Ragadolf
Yeah I want a new entry!
(MOTIVATION! They like me! They Really Like me!) ;)
YES oh mighty Monkey! As you wish!
(As opposed to 'Santa Monkey' who apparently just scares everyone into doing things for him) ;P
Let the (Next) Journalization commence!
Meh, I've been sitting in front of my PC a lot lately, not really into my usual video games. Time to put that time to good use!
:D

Usually when you travel for business, it's either because you are the best man for the job, OR because no one else wants to do it!
;)Either way, have fun! (Getting paid to travel was always fun to me)
And good luck on the cuban sammich!
Sometimes it's both :-)
Yeah that Lincoln Road has a really good Cuban place but I forget the name of it.
I went to Miami a few times last year. Could have gone again this year but I had the case transferred to New York as I am not a huge fan of traveling.
Ragadolf
I like to travel.
Hrm, that's not QUITE right,...
I like to go places. And do things.
I do NOT usually like the GETTING there.
"Getting there is half the fun"? BS. ;P
Driving long distances? Blecch. I can DO it, (and I do) I just dont LIKE it. I could never be a truck driver etc, nevernevernever.
If it wasnt for the cost, flying would be my preferred mode of travel.
Heh, there are always exceptions though.
My daughter is in the Netflix documentary "The Mars Generation" (LONG blond hair, you can't miss her.) Netflix kindly flew her and I out to Sundance for the premier. Getting there was great. Getting BACK was a convoluted nightmare of delayed & cancelled flights, constant attempts to swap to another airlines for a flight, and missing connecting flights due to weather delays. (Weather delays?!? In the Winter?!? in the Mid-west?!? Surely not!) ;P
FORTUNATELY I had a direct number to a Netflix person who helped us through all of this nonsense. We finally ended up in Houston airport, having just taxi'd in while watching our connecting flight take off. (Not just us, there were several people in the same boat)
(Skipping the tale of the unkind lady at one counter who basically insulted ALL of us in line waiting to be helped.) O_o
I ended up being told the next available flight out was in the early AM, and handed a discount voucher for a hotel.
Going to the hotel, changing, trying to sleep, getting back up in time to get BACK to the airport, through security and catch the flight would have resulted in NO sleep anyway, and would have returned us to home in 8 hours from then. (Approx 11pm by this point)
The nice Netflix lady found me a rental car, and we were home in 3 hours.
So yeah,... there are always exceptions. ;P

Well, this trip Has been a lot of fun. An awesome hearing, very riveting, our team got everything they wanted, their teams (yes i said teams- four distinct legal teams arrayed against us ) got bupkis. The hearing on Friday ran late so we had to spend the weekend in Miami (what’s shame!) and I got to see s lot of this admittedly amazing city.
I’m beginning to enjoy work travel. It helps when your endurance is pretty good. I’m running on four hours of sleep a day. I might go get some drinks ;)
Ragadolf
Oh my gosh, THAT is pretty Awesome!
Good job Pat!
MAKE the other so called firms FEAR the Monkey and his crew!
;)
Aw geez I'm sorry that you had to spend the WHOLE weekend in Miami. ;P
How EVER do you survive?!? ;)
OI yeah, endurance helps.
I know, because I'm losing mine. (Need to start exercising again!) :P
Glad it worked out Pat! Many Happy Returns! (And future travel-via-work-paid-trips!) :D

oh, and I discovered a NEW drawback to going so far back and trying to write the journal entries,...
(You know, besides the usual being distracted and reading and enjoying and losing track of time,...)
I get confused, and tend to forget whats going on NOW in the adventure! ;P
Sigh,... old age is my nemesis.
>_<
Ragadolf
I'm still here!
Working on the next journal entry actually. (Just not as much as I want)
;P
University is starting back this week, and SOMEHOW I ended up being the guy that has to keep track of all the rooms in my building, so that when music professors need another room, or cant decide when to move their class too, I'M the one who has to figure out what room/time/day is open and which are scheduled!
(Yeah,... they HAVE a department head, and an office manager to keep track of the music classes, I'M the Auditorium Technical Director!) ;P
Sigh, one of these days, I'll learn to stop being so D@#% nice.
And THEY will learn to take 'NO' for an answer!
(Yeah, that last one? Never happen.)
:P
Sorry not posting, been busy! :)

You know, I dropped a super juicy plot hook in front of Swift once. Worked all day on it and it never went anywhere. Now I gotta look at it again ..
*edit* found it!
