Heh, Seems like it! :)

Although as an extremely practical person, the unflappable Hamar will probably be the first to admit that when nothing makes sense, asking questions is the fastest way to get the answer. Or at least AN answer.

(Especially when your traveling with a bunch of deranged, phycopathic murder-hobos! I mean 'Adventurers'.) ;P

Sigh. Sorry Pat.

I AM working on 'the list', but I keep over-thinking it.

It isn't all that difficult. I just keep distracting/sidetracking myself.

I'll get it done (For reals, final answer!) this weekend. Pinkie swear!
;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

No worries. I had hoped that this year I’d have a relatively easy run into the holiday season, but the cases I am working on have seen fit to destroy that hope. I will be updating as I can, but I might get overwhelmed. I am going to be posting some OT next week.

LOL,

I'm glad you understand!

Because, as you can see, I was busier than I expected this weekend,... and yep. Still no Justin list. :(

(On the plus side, my not-so-mini-me finally got me his Christmas wish list. So I have SOMETHING to go off of for him this year!)

Happy Monday Ya'all! ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Huh. Weird. I had posted a whole thing on the thread yesterday and it somehow got eaten. Been a while since that happened

Heh, the old Post-Monster has to visit us every once in a while.

It wouldnt do for us to become complacent after all!

;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I’m still here! I’m not seeing a bunch of thoughts on shopping, do I think we move to the book store then Rhiannon’s Funeral? I’ll just handwaive the prepping and we can open riling your to the Mortuary in mourning garb

Yay! He's still here! :)
Yay! So am I! (mostly, anyway)

Sorry, I' been busy and distracted lately.

(Granted, some of that is entirely my own doing, but still,...)
;P

I going to see my son's Christmas Piano concert (He;s actually pretty good, for someone who has NO interest in piano. But playing is the only way to stay in the Arts Academy and stay in a better school than we are zoned for,... so,...)

But later tonight I will MAKE myself sit down and re-count GP and post something!

:D

Hey Pat!

PM'ing you with a question.

Hope all are having a happy weekend?
I just spent possibly the longest shopping day of my life Doing Christmas shopping.

I am tired, and my feet hurt. ALmost as much as my pocketbook hurts!

Anyhoo,

Kids, wife and I are all off for the holidays now! YAY!(?)
;P

(Been so long since the kids, 1 in college, and 1 in high school, have had to share their bathroom, I'm wondering who is gonna lose it first? The Teenage boy? The 20yr old girl? Or the cranky old wizzie?!?) ;P

I dunno. But I'm taking bets! ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I will look for the PM.

Glad to hear you are having a fun and hectic holiday season. I am currently on an air mattress in my daughter’s apartment in Massachusetts. I am just happy to be able to wake up when I want to :)

I’ll start cogitating stuff.

Oooo,... THAT sounds good too!

(Waking up when you want to I mean. Air mattresses I could live without) ;P

Enjoy!

I'll chat ya up when we get the chance! :)

Traveling for family visit.
Will return shortly after the new year.

I wikll check in as often as I am able, but if I miss it,

pre-emptive HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Apologies all. I have been ill for a few days, so just a little off on my posting.

I’m going to start writing out folks ( not saying they are gone forever - just getting ready for the leap out of Sigil)

Sovereign Court

Happy Holidays, hope you all had a good Christmas and I hope you have a great new years. 2010 was a hell of a decade, hope 2020 is better though.

Hope you feel better Pat!
(Sorry you didn't feel good. Nothing serious I hope!)

2010-cade was something else alright.
Just,... not sure WHAT sometimes,... ;P

May all my online peeps have a joyous, bountiful, happy and all-around-good year!
:D

Yeah, kind of implied ... LOL.

LOL,

And YAY! :)

Long may we play! :D

BTW,
I'm back home.
(Still out of my MIND, but at least back in my own house)
;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I’m thinking that after the Rhiannon scene I will be writing Nari out for the time being. I think everyone else is keeping at least half an ear in.

I’m going to advance if you folks are set

Shadow's Status

Ready!

Aw, I hope that Nari will be able to re-join us at some point.
:)

Ready when YOU are Freddy! :)

Sovereign Court

I'm still here
I was going to post after Mel suggested the passage of time on Oerth passes differently then on the planes, which would be a horrific scenario for Karrin, but something came up and when I came back I found I'd missed my opportunity.

Oh you know us,
Just go and do it anyway!

I'll get it back in order when I get to this point in the Journal,...

(You know, IF I ever get to this point in the journal.) ;)

Speaking of,...
New Years Resolution,
Not to wait MONTHS between at least working on journal entries.
;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Yeah I want a new entry!

YES oh mighty Monkey! As you wish!

(As opposed to 'Santa Monkey' who apparently just scares everyone into doing things for him) ;P

Let the (Next) Journalization commence!

Meh, I've been sitting in front of my PC a lot lately, not really into my usual video games. Time to put that time to good use!
:D

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

FYI I am traveling to Miami on business. I am not sure what that will entail (I’m still new to this ‘business travel’ thing) I might update a lot, or I might be too busy hunting down the perfect Cuban sammich. Stay tuned.

Congrats?
I guess it depends;

Usually when you travel for business, it's either because you are the best man for the job, OR because no one else wants to do it!
;)

Either way, have fun! (Getting paid to travel was always fun to me)
And good luck on the cuban sammich!

Sometimes it's both :-)

Yeah that Lincoln Road has a really good Cuban place but I forget the name of it.

I went to Miami a few times last year. Could have gone again this year but I had the case transferred to New York as I am not a huge fan of traveling.

I like to travel.

Hrm, that's not QUITE right,...

I like to go places. And do things.

I do NOT usually like the GETTING there.
"Getting there is half the fun"? BS. ;P

Driving long distances? Blecch. I can DO it, (and I do) I just dont LIKE it. I could never be a truck driver etc, nevernevernever.

If it wasnt for the cost, flying would be my preferred mode of travel.

Heh, there are always exceptions though.
My daughter is in the Netflix documentary "The Mars Generation" (LONG blond hair, you can't miss her.) Netflix kindly flew her and I out to Sundance for the premier. Getting there was great. Getting BACK was a convoluted nightmare of delayed & cancelled flights, constant attempts to swap to another airlines for a flight, and missing connecting flights due to weather delays. (Weather delays?!? In the Winter?!? in the Mid-west?!? Surely not!) ;P

FORTUNATELY I had a direct number to a Netflix person who helped us through all of this nonsense. We finally ended up in Houston airport, having just taxi'd in while watching our connecting flight take off. (Not just us, there were several people in the same boat)

(Skipping the tale of the unkind lady at one counter who basically insulted ALL of us in line waiting to be helped.) O_o

I ended up being told the next available flight out was in the early AM, and handed a discount voucher for a hotel.
Going to the hotel, changing, trying to sleep, getting back up in time to get BACK to the airport, through security and catch the flight would have resulted in NO sleep anyway, and would have returned us to home in 8 hours from then. (Approx 11pm by this point)

The nice Netflix lady found me a rental car, and we were home in 3 hours.

So yeah,... there are always exceptions. ;P

Well, this trip Has been a lot of fun. An awesome hearing, very riveting, our team got everything they wanted, their teams (yes i said teams- four distinct legal teams arrayed against us ) got bupkis. The hearing on Friday ran late so we had to spend the weekend in Miami (what’s shame!) and I got to see s lot of this admittedly amazing city.

I’m beginning to enjoy work travel. It helps when your endurance is pretty good. I’m running on four hours of sleep a day. I might go get some drinks ;)

Oh my gosh, THAT is pretty Awesome!
Good job Pat!
MAKE the other so called firms FEAR the Monkey and his crew!
;)

Aw geez I'm sorry that you had to spend the WHOLE weekend in Miami. ;P
How EVER do you survive?!? ;)

OI yeah, endurance helps.
I know, because I'm losing mine. (Need to start exercising again!) :P

Glad it worked out Pat! Many Happy Returns! (And future travel-via-work-paid-trips!) :D

oh, and I discovered a NEW drawback to going so far back and trying to write the journal entries,...

(You know, besides the usual being distracted and reading and enjoying and losing track of time,...)

I get confused, and tend to forget whats going on NOW in the adventure! ;P

Sigh,... old age is my nemesis.
>_<

I'm still here!

Working on the next journal entry actually. (Just not as much as I want)
;P

University is starting back this week, and SOMEHOW I ended up being the guy that has to keep track of all the rooms in my building, so that when music professors need another room, or cant decide when to move their class too, I'M the one who has to figure out what room/time/day is open and which are scheduled!

(Yeah,... they HAVE a department head, and an office manager to keep track of the music classes, I'M the Auditorium Technical Director!) ;P

Sigh, one of these days, I'll learn to stop being so D@#% nice.
And THEY will learn to take 'NO' for an answer!

(Yeah, that last one? Never happen.)
:P

Sorry not posting, been busy! :)

Just FYI, I AM working on the next chapter,
But I forget how much FUN we have just talking sometimes!

I catch myself reading 4-5 pages ahead for fun and action, then remember I'm supposed to be writing, not just reading! ;P

Happy weekend to all,

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Yeah we’ve had some fun times in this game. The great thing is you can go back and relive it like a favorite book.

Is it sad that I'm having as much re-reading/re-writing the TALKING parts as much as the action parts?

(In fairness, the talking parts are usually less convoluted. Need less editing.) ;P

SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF.
:D

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

There are so many great an unique characters through the doors. I wish we could have some characters return, like Isaac, Ekur, Greep, or Swift, and I really hope we haven't lost folks like Nari

Ditto that, (on ALL of it)
Great peeps, playing great characters.
LOTS of fun, adventure and mayhem.

What's not to love?!? :)

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

I wonder if Swift retired on the money she got from that lock box?

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Lol. It couldn’t hurt I suppose

Sounds like (what little I know) of Swift! :)

Although I'm sure she keeps herself 'busy'. Girl can't get BORED now!
:)

OK, You KNOW your in with a good group/thread when the responses to seeing old PC's is almost as entertaining as the adventure!

I love this game.

"I have Spoken."

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

You know, I dropped a super juicy plot hook in front of Swift once. Worked all day on it and it never went anywhere. Now I gotta look at it again ..

*edit* found it!
