You can find that whole scene on you tube. One of the more memorable ones in the show :-)

:P

Maybe I can use my account to access HBO on demand or something, watch a few of the more popular episodes at least. (In Nov my 'free HBO' is up, and I'll have to pay for having those channels. I pay enough already, so That will never happen.) ;P

Right now I am SO far behind on my DVR'd TV shows, I will never get to watch them all before they self-erase to make room for the newer episodes coming out.
:(

But, I am trying! ;)

You should have access to HBO on demand, which has all the seasons on it. I used to jury rig watching HBO OD and Amazon Prime by hooking my kindle up through the tv (you need an HDMI/kindle recharge port cord, $10 Staples). I finally bought a cool little Sony dvd/Blu-ray player with Internet capability ($60 on Amazon) that I can watch Netflix/Hulu/Prime/HBONow/YouTube/and a host of others on my tv via remote control. Seriously a cool little item.

Yeah I need to access HBO OD.

I already had a Blu ray player, (best open box item I've EVER picked up at Best Buy) ;) and it has access to all that on it. (presuming you have that service, or course)

And Christmas Santa went a little (too) deep, (yay/boo Credit cards?!?) and brought few smart TV's as presents. So now we have access to all that stuff via the TV itself.

(Santa, of course, did not realize that this meant we would also need to buy a new ROUTER to keep up with all of the sudden new demand for wireless flying through the house. With the already existing PC's/phones, the new TV's and son's new PS4, the previous one, while fine before the holiday, didn't have a prayer of keeping up now! Had to move to a dual-band Wi-Fi router.) ;P

It should be as easy as logging in on my Netflix account, Using my TV service provider account and password, etc to prove I 'have' HBO.

Just one of a LONG list of things I never seem to get around to worrying enough about to actually, you know, DO it. ;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Lol. You’re way ahead of me. I’m watching on my 2009 27” tv. But, I’m good with that. I got my streaming service and I own the remote. My dog has no thumbs, you see

LOL, that's very good. No competition for the show of the evening!

If you have HBO you have access to HBO go for free which has HBO's entire back catalog......like I'm talking Sopranos etc.

Whew, Karrin's tale is finished!

Let's see if HBO can top that story. Without the nudity of course, Karrin's story doesn't have any nudity, but we can pretend that Mara, once transformed into her living guise, was topless the whole time if we wanted to compete with HBO.

LOL

Great job Karrin, ;)

Now leave it up to Justin to kill the mood. ;P

Does Alessia's [disgusted noise] count?

Oh I assumed that was Alessia doing the usual "I hate the living" undead thing.

Guy Humual wrote:

Nah, she's more of the self-loathing undead-hating undead type.

Hey, Justin has survived,... erm,... TRAINED several times with Karrin. AND he's seen what she can do with that axe.

No way is he going to volunteer to be first to contradict Karrin.

Although he was crying, internally, during the bell portion,... ;P

Sorry Mark, no "flirting" with Blayze yet, Justin has the goods at this point. Maybe when Sophie needs some Gun supplies Blayze might get a look in. ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

So do we want to play out the days until Rhiannon’s funeral, or do you want to handwave it along and get going? You could just list the things you want to buy/do, or you can sightsee in the town.

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

I'm happy either way. Whatever everyone else wants, as I'm the newbie.

Blayze Female Aasimar Gunslinger (Mysterious Stranger) 2/ Paladin (Holy Gun/Divine Hunter) 9

Either is good.

I'm not worried, there's plenty of time. Lol

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Tell you what. Why don’t you do the portal set scene. You might think about hiring a guide ( big DM hint) or getting some polyjuice potions. Drow are notoriously xenophobic and racist. Not to mention unpredictable

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

Yes, Karrin isn't going anywhere until she sees Rhiannon buried properly but so long as we're not actually deploying anywhere Karrin is fine for doing the leg work for the next mission.

Karrin had a whole line about reverse psychology

Shadow's Status

I am ok with whatever though I'd prefer some RP in the Cage as I've never played in Planescape before so that's part of the fun I think is just being here.

Hamar would have needed to sleep to be sure and he'd be shot till the next day due to his lack of (or very limited) sleep for several days .

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Cool. How about eat drink and be merry tonight, and then early rise and head out to explore Sigil?

Heh, If 'Fun' equals 'Likely to get into a brawl involving at least 2 factions' then yes! This will be as BLAST! ;P

Works for me, Oh yeah, FYI, I'm out of town this week, AGAIN,

I'm back from the beach, but I have to go visit family in Oklahoma for a few days.
(Yes, I just spent a week with them at the beach, but my brother in law is a dental surgeon, and my wife needs a root canal. It is cheaper for me to drive and have him do it than get it locally, even with insurance) ;P

So This is the perfect week to do exploring, RP'ing, shopping, etc on my end! :)

Wait, what two evil counterparts? We got an undead, so theoretically evil, who's the other evil character?

If I had to guess, Sophistacia.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Guy, did you see Karrin’s spoiler? I wasn’t sure because you didn’t mention anything

Sovereign Court

Oh yes I did, but that's not something you casually bring up with the first person you see, that's something that the entire group needs to hear.

lol... Does nobody read other Character Sheets? I didn't think I was the only one who liked to read them.

Yeah, we have Ramuah vs Alessia and Blayze vs Sophistacia.
Fighty vs Shooty

I usually read them, I just hadn't gotten to yours yet.

Speaking of character sheets... nine active player characters? That has to be a record of some kind. Also kind of a weird alignment distribution:

LG aasimar paladin
LG (?) aasimar gunslinger/paladin
NG human wizard
NG catfolk sorcerer
NG elan psion
CG human scout/barbarian
CG tiefling duskblade
LE undead fighter
NE vishkanya investigator/fighter

There we go Dave, ruining the aesthetic of the Company. ;)

I definitely do

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Alignment is a much more fungible concept in Planescape. Sigil is the Hub of the Great Wheel. All shades rub shoulders here, like a planar Casablanca

Shadow's Status

Crap 9 is a lot for D&D. ;-)

My Vampire game has 13 active but Wwaaay less combat so easier to manage. Having 13 separate storylines is still easier than combat with 9 PCs.

I had 11 at my table top a few years back shit would drag out forever.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

We so ok. The pace is slower anyway

Wow,
I hadn't realized that we run almost the entire gamut of the 'alignment spectrum' ;P

More RP fun! (Only in Planescape folks! DOnt try this in your average campaign world!) ;P

Hamar, are you actually down about a third of your hit points still? Are you obviously injured?

Is anyone else in the party obviously injured?

A few might still be down a few points, we DID leave in a hurry after all. (And there was a reason for that!) ;P

JUstin I think looked worse than he actually was, with all the fighting and healing, etc etc. ;)

Hmm, just so we're all on the same page here, for those that have been through most of the adventure, are we all aware that we're after a McGuffin artifact that contains the life essence of some fallen god? Are we all also aware at this point that it's a wand? Or is that something that only Karrin knows at this point thanks to the dream?

OOC knowledge and spoilers for the story:

Spoiler:
It's the ultimate McGuffin in D&D actually: the Wand of Orcus. This is something that Karrin doesn't know because Orcus' name was erased, it's something I figured out OOC based on my knowledge of D&D lore.

Shadow's Status

Yep. I have it as a plot point in my current campaign except my PCs are going to be locating it to free our unnamed villains' essence :-). Hey Pat, is this homebrew or module based? I am home brewing as a prior group (of which sadly only one PC remains) killed said unnameable in the first place:-)
