I have to say this Iconic has thrilled me to no end. Not only does Sajan have a fantastic back story, but his origins is from a part of Galarion that I'm eager to learn more about. (Personally I'm fascinated with the far-east and Persia, which explains why Al Qadim is my favorite D&D setting).
If/When you do short stories or novels for Pathfinder Mike, I hope Sajan (or better yet is absent sister) is a character. I'm itching to know more about him.

I thought the Paladin Iconic was a great write up. This one is at least as good and comes with its own adventure hooks built in. These pregens just keep getting better and better. I've shifted from thinking they were dead space in the books to thinking that they show off what can be done with just the core rules. I'm actually looking forward to the minis for the other Iconics now.

I suspect Merisiel would be the jealous prankster while Valerous dotes over the clueless Seoni. Kyra just rolls her eyes watching the three thinking that Sarenrae will redeem them all. :)
That backstory's an AP all by itself.

He instantly becomes a great NPC to help PCs because they can help him later on if they get to know him.

Well he is an Iconic for Second Darkness.. maybe they'll put his sister into the AP. Either way, seems like more people are using the Iconics as NPCs then as pregren PCs.

Awful name, though. I keep reading "Satan" It even sounds similar.
That could work. But I think as soon as any of my players sees that name in a book, they'll be tenacious-d'ing away like a trooper, shouting HAIL SAY-jann in funny voices.

Yes, well, far be it from me that I should prevent someone from quoting Tenacious D. ;)

He's the iconic monk. He'll show up in Pathfinder 13, I suspect, along with the iconic barbarian, the iconic druid, and the iconic mystery character whose role has yet to be announced.
Unless of course you go 4e with the third path.
Then, chances are good we'll never get to meet those characters in the same way. :(| Watcher |

And, as I wrote on another thread, most of the other iconics will either get changed (which amounts to the setting serving the rules and not the other way around - hopefully something Pathfinder will never have to endure) or they go the way of the elephant bird.

There is a discussion with an explanation and crunch in this thread.
If it wasn't for the fact that it seems to go around his fingers I would have guessed small ("ninja") throwing knifes/darts. But chances are it's more likely knuckle-dusters.

After reading his backstory, I have a sneaking suspicion that he's gonna search high and low for his sister, get into all sorts of trouble, get captured, be near death, and then the mysterious hooded figure swoops in and saves him.
Sajni whips off her hood and says, 'There you are! I've been looking all over! Figures you'd get yourself into trouble...'
