If the PbP can continue, I will continue playing it. I'm not giving up that easily. :D

I have some free time.

BTW, KC I invited you on Facebook. Don't be surprised if an unfamiliar name turns up.

KC's on FB... OOO where?

Dark Archive

Yup he is on facebook.

I can give directions if KC will allow me to disclose the real 'him'....

Male Human Technician 17

I'm here as well.

Didn't expect it to still run though, but I'm willing to play!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1

Here and ready for some head-cleaving!!

Dark Archive

I have restarted from where we left with Quirk entangling the hidden Kobold ambushers. I'll play those who are absent until they come along. I read that Rob just got married. Congrats are in order. :D

Hey, Rad, are we updating to the Core rules, or staying Beta?

A good question: the answer is yes do so.

male You might wanna know...but I won't tell *G* More than you can shake a stick at...

Hello Folks,

your invisible temper tantrum spewing mostly good-natured feyling is speaking.

But only to say, that it may take some time for me to flit back into action.

Radavel knows already what is happening in the life of my player.

Next time I chime in, he may be

a) married (he's been to the town register on Tuesday with his fiancee to declare their wish to get married)
b) unemployed (his company's downsizing from 800 to 450, and IT will also feel the heat)
c) working in his house (they've bought a house this year)
d) holding the German version of "Crown of the Kobold King" in his grubby hands, with his credit as sole translator of the book.

I shall also give a message for that halfling, Quince.

Quince? Tell your player: "Congrats, Rob!"

'til then,
Quirk

PS: and don't let Franuflen get the best of you all.

Oliver - a. Congratulations! b. I'm sorry to hear that. c. Congratulations! (May your house not drop to about 1/2 its value, like mine has in the past couple of years ...) and d. Congratulations!

And a big 'Congrats!' to Rob also

I might have to chime in for my overeager pixie.

That b) option is a maybe-thing.

It may happen, but it also might not.

Thank you all for the well wishes.

Until then,
Oliver

Male Gnome Druid 3

Good luck with that Olli!

As for the conversion of Fjyndel: There's not much to do with his stats.
If the DM allows, I keep the Ranger-track as first-level feat.
Grendel, the riding dog is another matter.
Currently the most related animal companions are dog (small) and wolf (medium).
Big cat (medium), might be an option too, but won't fit that good...

I'm unsure what to do with that now.

Dark Archive

Fjyndel, you may maintain whatever previous stats you wish.

I will go about the math of the new animal companions, and then probably choose between wolf or big cat, if not stay with the riding dog, if that's okay.

OK, I've got a question: they got rid of the Overhand Chop feat in the Core rules; can I still keep it or should I swap it out for a different one?

Rad I think what I might do is rework Coralee entirely. I'll change her over to a Sorcerer/Cleric rather than a Sorcerer/Favoured Soul, simply for the ease of utilising the Core Rules.

I love overhand chop keep it unless you want to change.

Cool. I like that feat a lot too, so I'm thinking it'll stay!

To keep the rules consistent, I'm going to change Grendel from being a riding dog to being a big cat.

Can we all pretend he always was a big cat?

And, what type of big cat would be native to the environment? Tiger?

Grendel is updated.

Please look over his stats, I'm not totaly sure I did everything right there... especially look at the attack and Full attack. Is that really correct?
