For a rogue talent, I will take a the vigilante social talent of Renown, effective in the The Greens section of Kintargo. Phantom Thief allows Laurent to take vigilante social talents instead of regular rogue talents.
Unfortunately it doesn't do anything except give people from the Greens a slightly better opinion of me at the moment, but I need it for the future. Best to get it out of the way.
+2 spells known: adhesive spittle, chill touch (which raises the question -- can I use my dancing strings hex to deliver touch attacks? It acts as prehensile hair, which can be a natural attack (and thus deliver touch attacks)...)
On a completely unrelated note, something came up in one if my other campaigns that I wanted to ask about here (it was not with my character but it still got me thinking)...
I realize Aldren is a bit, uh, "moody". I'm having a ridiculously fun time with it but I realize what's fun for me isn't always fun for others. So, please, if you're having any issues or getting rubbed the wrong way by Aldren or how I'm playing him, please let me know so I can make an adjustment. (Aldren definitely only wants to give good rubs.)

Emphasis added. So, my assumption is there are two red cloaks. Did anyone take the one we found in the grimple's bed? I thought we'd just left it there.

Laurent picked up the first cloak, as well as anything else of value, from the infested pit.

Hey guys, just FYI, work is hitting me hard right now. I've also got my folks coming to visit over the weekend -- Long story short, my posting may be spotty through the weekend (though I'm hoping I can sneak in some time tomorrow and/or Friday).

Also, have we lost Septimus? Without him around, Aldren is really going to start misbehaving.
Berenice, I think this is a lost cause. Could always come back, but I wager as soon as we break those runes, Stellx is outta here. IC, Aldren is petty enough to wait and come back. OOC... might be best to move on. And who knows...maybe Stellx will reappear with another opportunity for revenge.
I'm not being too mean with my assessments, am I? Berenice is trying to compliment you, but her compliments get filtered through her bitterness a bit...
If pressed/necessary/permissible, I might be able to retool Aldren into a warpriest... Really not the direction I was going with him and he won't hit like Septimus, but I'm not sure how well we'll do without a really melee oriented character.
Hopefully he comes back. I had Aldren tease the character but it was nice to have a "straight man" in the party (in the comedic sense).
Ok, here is my plan. I don't want to bring in new people I stated that in my recruitment. ill bring down the CR if necessary to make it easier if I feel yall are having a hard time. I will recruit more people when we start Book 2. at that time I will put out a call for replacements. I also PMed Septimus to let him know I have no problem for him to show back up at a later time if he just needed a extended break. (this is the same for any of you, but I hope not.)
Plus I am thinking about making Beppe a Hero level NPC with a background. because he might be a good RP for both Berenice and Laraunt. that should help with the fighter. (tell me how you would feel about this? this is our game everyone has a say.)

IMO, five players is probably enough. We won't be the most martial group ever, but Berenice is full BAB... I assume Laurent will be mostly in melee, so it might force Lirana and Aldren into a bit more melee, but I think we should have most of our bases covered...
BTW, other folks are probably aware of this, but after seven years of Pathfinder, it was just pointed out to me a couple weeks ago there is such a thing as a "Standard Charge", where if you are unable to take a full round action, you can use a standard action to move up to your normal move speed and attack. Only catch is you have to have your weapon already drawn.
