If you haven't checked today's blog, take a gander at Wayne Reynolds' new artwork for "Sins of the Saviors". Stunning stuff! Great job, Wayne!

Oh, that's greatness! My love for WAR's artwork just keeps growing.
And let me say in response to the request for a new cover artist for CotCT: I'd be ecstatic if they could get Wayne to do ALL the artwork for Pathfinder.

I just have one request. please don’t have all your dragons color coated for my convenience.
Um... we kinda have to to be compatible with the world's most popular roleplaying game. Not to say that our dragons are one-dimensional, though. Make sure to check out Pathfinder #4.
Also, I agree that the white is dead sexeh.

Golarion's white dragons look significantly cooler than the standard version.
Agreed! Now to unleash my secret plot, by where I kidnap WAR and make him do Dragonlance art.
And from there, we'll have to prepare for tomorrow night.
"Why, Brain? What are we doing tomorrow night?"
"Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the Pathfinder world!"
It's Pinky, Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain.

I do like a lot of Wayne's work. However, the art where women's chins are stuck in their own neck throws me off a bit (his artwork for Malcanthet is one example :) [ Linky ]). This is a great dragon, though, and his Demogorgon for Dungeon #150 (kalink!) was the best rendition of him I've seen in ALL the editions of DnD.

adventures defending his sorry a$% from a white wyrm.
I think it's called "Uh, All That Red Stuff Should Really Be On The Inside."

How can it POSSIBLY look her in the eyes when the following questions are running through its head:
1. What happened to gravity? Is this the first sign that the Goofy Gravity Master in the Earth's core is finally flipping the switch to send us all spiraling into the atmosphere?
2. What kind of AC bonus does silicone provide? What happens on a critical hit? If they were to rupture, would I have to make a Fortitude save or Reflex? Does it function like a grenade weapon? Did she have to spend a feat?
3. Shouldn't she be driving with headlights in this weather, with that dental floss costume? Vampirella called: she wants her shtick back.
4. She's probably got scars that are heinous enough already, maybe I should focus on the guy?

Rumor has it that you're the man in charge of Golarion's analogs of Bahumut and Tiamat?
Tell us more if you can Mr. Sutter!

UGH.. Mighty Marvelous McArtor, amaze us with your mystical meanderings.
Tell us who really is the Architect of Draconic Wonder...?
And if it is you, pray be kind to a fool like me and my fellows, and drop us a crumb of your knowledge.

I believe there will be a full write-up of Golarion dragons in Pathfinder 4, by the "Mighty Marvelous McArtor."

No need to grovel, friend.
More about dragons shall be revealed in a forthcoming Pathfinder. You might even say, a fourthcoming one. Aha. Aha ha. Yes. Quite.

Heh, good to know. :)
Actually at the risk of sounding like a groveler.. DnD is not my favorite RPG. I love me some Pathfinder though.
And I just don't spend my time hanging out on the boards bugging you guys with questions, I have been running Runelords for three sessions now, and my people love it.
Here's their campaign journal-
I actually wrote that for another website and just copied it here. Next session is this Saturday.
I've got a druid that is using the shapeshifting variant out of the PHB II, and scared the crap out of the Goblins as a "Bad Dog." (Wolf form)
Another crap-kicker is my priest of Iomedae..
Between those two my players have been working on doing some heraldry for fun, to represent their group. Take a look!
My players work on Pathfinder Heraldry here
See? People are actually playing this stuff out in the real world.
Looking forward to that Dragon stuff Mike!

Just as long as your Green doesn't have a spike sticking out of it's face... that wasn't put there by an adventurer of course!!!
And I don't think I could EVER be WAR'd out (or TD'd out or KP'd out or BROM'd out for that matter).

I like. It's kind of bad that I'm more interested in how he got that frozen lake to look frozen than anything else in the picture, but I'm also a bit WAR'd out. It's a great cover, but I hope that the next series will have a new cover artist.
Unfortunately for you, and fortunately for everyone else who has commented in this thread (I think*), Wayne has agreed to do the first 12 Pathfinder covers.
Ah, Wayne Reynolds. Is there no better artist for the industry? Before you answer, the correct response is "YES!".
Yes, there is no better artist? Yes, there isn't none more betterer? Errmmm... brain... logic... not... working!

I would've thought that was the reason they decided to have him do only the covers of pathfinder . . . could you imagine if he was doing all the interior art as well?
and for the record, I like WAR's work . . not yet on overload, but I can see you two's point.

If WAR was only on the Pathfinder covers, I'd be cool with that, but his work is popping up all over the place. Just so's you know.

I've got agree. I don't think I could ever get WAR'd out, as long as other art is still there too. He just fits my vision of D&D so perfectly that I can't get over it. Plus, he does Eberron covers, and horror of horrors, I like Eberron. Not as much as I love Golarion, though. Never fear Paizo, I will support you to the fullest extent I can. Which means Pathfinder, in all its glory.
Let it reign supreme, with one thousand candied hagfish, and the power of the One True Logue, and the wisom of the Unfathomable Pett!
