If a town has this listed for "marketplace"...
MARKETPLACE
Base Value 1,400 gp; Purchase Limit 7,500 gp; Spellcasting 4th
Minor Items 3d4; Medium Items 1d6; Major Items —
What does that mean exactly?
Base value: I have no idea what this is for.
Purchase limit: is that how much you can buy total? or the limit any single item can be worth? how about how much they can sell?
Spellcasting: is that the maximum level of the spellcaster? meaning say a fourth level cleric? Or is 4th meaning 4th level spells are the highest level spells you can get in the town?
minor/med/major items: are these the only magic items available in town at all? or just stuff that's available in addition to the stuff you can buy with the purchase limit?
thanks guys!
