Greeting Paizonians, long time lurker, first time poster here. I've recently stopped playing as many video games as I ordinarily am used to, and have been looking for something to fill the void for a little while. I'm a bit intrigued by the concepts of Play by Post, and this seems to be one of the friendlier places for it.
While I would much prefer to be a player in one of the games, I haven't been watching this part of the boards for too long and was kind of wondering how often new games or slots pop up.
At the same time I do quite enjoy DMing (lets me take car of those little god complex urges and whatnot), and was wondering how many people would be interested in a game. If you're interested in something, just post in here about what types of things would intrigue you for a PbP game, and I'll see what I can whip up. Who knows, you might inspire someone other than me while you're at it.

I'm running one game and participating in two others, so I'm PbP'ed out. However, if you want in to a game, I suggest you lurk around long enough and hopefully a new one will pop up. Someone usually fancies doing one eventually.
If you want to run one, I would suggest that you decide what you want to run and put up a post on this board. That's probably better than asking what people want, because you will get a dozen different suggestions - or maybe none. I would put out your stall, say what sort of game you plan to run, and see if you get any interest.
A few people have asked about Gamemastery D1 or D0 Pbps. So there is some interest.
I might play, although I'll be away for a few weeks this summer and that would certainly interfere.
While face to face gaming I am always the DM so it would be nice to be the player.... hmmmm.
Yeah, now that I think about it, I'll probably cook up something to run over the weekend. I won't be using any of Paizo's stuff though, other than little things I may steal from adventures. Since this is Paizo's site, it makes running their stuff more capable of “Haven't I Done This Before?” syndrome.
I've been lurking about and looking for a PbP for a few months, so I would love to play! I've done something similar, just without the dice rolly part when I was younger but its been a while.

I'm currently running three games (WTF?!?!?) and playing in one other (two if you count the 'Battle Royale' game that's starting up), so I've got more than I can handle currently. You're welcome to look at the games I've been running and playing in for inspiration, however, and possibly some aid on how to run one yourself.
I'll start a PbP if there is sufficient interest. Its a project I've been working on. A summary: Piracy and adventure on the high seas (cheesy as that may sound). The list of people who sounded interested in a PbP are as follows: Hammith DM, Keno, Kruelaid, The Last Rogue, YeuxandI. I'll go and create a thread in Play by Post Discussions right now, titled 'The Silver Coast'.

What campaign setting would it be? I like Ravenloft, but I understand Forgotten realms and Ebberron and dragonlance. i don't have the FR book, though.
Would it even be D&D?
Guess this is a bit dated since all the good games seem to be well under way... but "closed mouth don't get fed." I'd love to find a game. I am the only DM at my regular table, which only gets together every 2 weeks anyway, so I rarely get to be a player. Dragon & Dungeon mags are gone (*sniffle!*) and the Adventure Path looks very interesting... of course, my ongoing campaign will not allow me to ever introduce my players to Varisia, so if I want to get in on a chance to play RISE OF THE RUNELORDS, it'll have to be as a player. That having been said, if anyone has room at their "table" for 1 more, or is starting a new campaign that looks promising, please contact me here and let me know.
