We're on the lookout for 3 new folks here at Paizo. Please view the job posts at the following link and let us know if you're interested.
Thanks!

Damn, they're all jobs that require actual work and experience, not the glamorous writing jobs =p
On a side note you should all relocate to New Jersey lol

Somehow I'm thinking that if you were hired to any of these jobs, they'd still be willing to accept submissions from you . . . er, once they have submission guidelines.
But seriously, forget re-locating to New Jersey . . Michigan is the place to be . . with so many factories and such closing, the job market is just waiting to have companies move in and hire up people.
Come on . . . Michigan . . . you know you want to. ;)

Boy that AP/AR Coordinator position looks nice. But sadly though I've meet much of the requirements I don't have the 4 years in college for it. Which of course is the biggest thing needed.
Oh well. Paizo let me know when you got a job open for an injured Army vet who held a Top Secret security clearance, works well with others and the international scene, and who currently works law enforcement. heh.
Good luck to Paizo in finding the best possible people to work for you, and good luck to those on the forums who apply.

I don't know... Do you really want to work in a town that bans popcorn?

Wouldn't have believed it until I read it, EP.

Arioch!!! Blood and souls for Arioch!!!
The slavering maws of Chaos are always in the room with us, giggling hoarsely as they topple the chess pieces of our lives. We stare forward deliberately, intoning our lawful nursery rhymes, never daring to look up and around toward what we know, through the unerring language of spinal chill, to be true and looming. Closing in. Here.

They bring liberation from the grid, freedom from the strictures of movement. The queen can move like a knight, the pawn like a queen, the king can float at will above the patterns.
And the popcorn can smolder with the fires from Brigit herself.| The Jade |

How gorgeously apt your prose in defining this specific wavelength.

Must have the physical ability to move/lift 50 pounds and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
Four-year college degree a plus
Normal warehouse working conditions
And no mention of forklift / cherry picker / scissor lift / etcetera knowledge necessary.
I guess we have different definitions of "normal" warehouse conditions, huh? :-P

I told my GF about the warehouse jobs, and than I told her how far it is. She blinks and says hun a little long drive to work.
Yeah my sisInlaw said the commute from her place would be nearly 1-2 hours and since we are 4-5 hours from her, I thought about it. Mapquest says it would be 4 hours 45 minute commute. hmm... I could do that twice a week if you had a cardboard box i could borrow for the work week.

Paizo's expanding again -- we need help in our warehouse!
Working at Paizo is like the best carnival, rodeo, circus, parade, rock concert, druidic convocation or amusement park you've ever seen. Except way more awesome than that.
So get your resumes to jobs@paizo.com. Now!!!

Damn, I really need you to fire Bulmahn and hire me.
:D
The only job at Paizo I think I'm qualified to steal would be Cosmo's. And having spoken to him on the phone about my subscriptions, I don't wanna. I'd feel bad.
But hey - if they expand their Customer Service department ever... I'm there. (I don't even have to move!)

I'd be all over that "warehouse" job. (Sorry, but if forklift driving isn't required, I have a hard time calling it warehouse work.)
But I have no interest in moving across the country.
If you guys ever have an interest in opening additional facilities on the other coast, you'll have to fight me off. ;-)

Sorry, but I doubt they'd want to open a facility on the east coast: it's generally too expensive for both the company and it's employees. Now, a fairly cheap city like Louisville, KY, with it's UPS hub, that's the place to put a new shipping facility... :D

Bump!
Paizo is looking for another warehouse person. And an online store coordinator. And a software developer. And a copy editor. See here for details.

Man if you haven't filled the Warehouse slot by July (unlikely) I may have to send in my resume.

*sigh*
I would love the Online Retail Coordinator job and I even exceed the qualifications, but unless Paizo can lend me a 10th level assassin to do away with my wife's ex, child custody issues will keep me in South Carolina.
If the job is still open by the time our kids hit 18 though, I will definitely apply ;)

I imagine filling the entry-level software developer role is going to be tough. My analysis of the tech industry in Seattle is that it's not deep and I think the top young talent tends to wind up in Redmond. Your best bet might be recruiting from local universities or offering internships. I've had to hire developers from junior to senior level in both startups and enterprises and it's always difficult.
Happy trails.
