Kudos to Eric Boyd for his web enhancement recently posted on the WotC DnD website. An excellent, quick-reference-type, table on the noble families of Waterdeep. I'm not really good at creating links, but I've pasted the web address for anyone who is interested.

Yes, thank you! It's a great little bit of fluff (as a good thing even). I'm wondering how you arrived at the gold asset value though. It just strikes me that a noble house would have much more resources/assets than the listed values. Take, for instance, the Wands family. They are purveyers of magic stuff - items, spells and schooling, maybe even some sage type advise with magic things and the number one moneymaker: Adventuring. The gp assets (at only 50,000) for the family seem woefully small, especially when you consider the income from the three known holdings (and not including the many more unknown ones) and the fact that they create dweomercraft-for-hire - something that the Red wizard enclaves also do at a much better profit margin, apparently.
Anyway, if someone could shed some light on this it would be helpful. Thanks!
