I've obviously not had a ton of time to really dig into them, but they "seem" like a marriage of 5E and Pathfinder 1E. Here's what I've liked so far

1) Simplified action economy
2) Lots of choices embedded in the class system (so no need for a million crazy subclasses)
3) Simplified skills/attack/defense bonuses

Hrugnir: I wonder if you are not trying to force a concept you had for a character into something that covers certain bases, but ends up not being much like the original concept envisioned. When I read through the legend of Hrugnir, I most certainly did not get an image of a super-intelligent quasi-psychic. Don't get me wrong, we could use a psychic, but this build looks like a set of powers shoe-horned into something that to me, ends up barely resembling the inspiration. Hope that doesn't offend. I would say you should either play a Norse inspired stone-giant, or play a psychic, or a Norse inspired Psychic, if there is one, but I don't think Hrugnir would be him. Mechanically, this character is kind of all over the place, without much of a theme. He ends up a lightly armoured psychic that throws rocks, teleports, and has a d4 strength.

I'm not sure if his Bi-Frost power is legal or not under the rules... is it the entire power that must be under 1/3 the total number of available points, or just the core power itself, while the extras can exceed it? if that were the case, I would suggest buying ranks of Switchable for your bigger ticket powers, as otherwise you are sinking a lot of points into powers that are only occasionally useful.

I'm actually going less for the *actual* Hrungir at this point and more for the Norse Psychic theme but with the name Hrungir (simply because I resuse alias' and that one is available.) re:Teleportation I can certainly remove the Teleport other option and put those PP into his ranged attack. Also, I think you might be missing over his most powerful ability....Stun. He can potentially incapacitate any enemy in one attack.

I decided that for flavoring his Jotun heritage, I'd take the distinctive form hinderance and make it a part of his "Armor" super power. His skin is made of stone.

Hmm. I'm thinking I can still base my guy on Norse mythology (and keep him as an awakened Jotun) but go the more psionic/magic route ala Loki.

    Villain Concepts
How did your character get his powers? Hrungir was born with them. He is a demigod after all. (He can just be a normal super that thinks he's a god...it doesn't really matter)

Why did your character become a villain? Hrungir doesn't think of himself as a villain. He is always simply defending his honor, or competing with others. Of course, his vanity, pride and foolhardy sense of rightness often causes him to take positions that others might consider "villainous"

Evil, not Psychotic! Hrungir certainly falls into that category. He doesn't pursue evil goals for evil's sake, he mostly opposes "good" guys as a means to compete and prove his own superiority.

And, don’t forget to describe your costume!
Hrungir dresses like a god. Gold, silks, rings on his fingers. He wears a golden diadem on his head to show his noble jotun heritage.

    Hey guys,

I'm one of the people that Zenfox asked to join. I'm not super up on how to build supers in SW (I think its just an extra step in creating a character) However, I'm looking at building something based off of this mythological figure
Mechanically, it would be a melee based tough guy type "super"

I think you guys might already have that though...

The character concept I have is for this Jotun to be "woken" after being defeated by Thor millennia ago. He's not a hero, he was a rival and sometime opponent of Odin and Thor. As he awakens now to find the old gods gone, and aliens ruling over the humans he once called his people, his pride demands that he drive the invader off.

Hrugnir would be prideful, boastful, vain and competitive.

I welcome any ideas when it comes to mechanics.

Doublegold do you have anything open still? I have a Mystic melee character I'd love to try.

I can do the idea with a Solarion instead, but Mystic would be best.

Radiance is also a weapon that's pretty thoroughly dedicated to Iomedae, and a paladin of Iomedae is going to get the most and best use out of it. Wanting a paladin of Iomedae to be replaced by a paladin of Iomedae seems to me to be a pretty reasonable request.

Except that it *isn't* a weapon of Iomedae.

    From The Worldwound Incursion:

Radiance was once a powerful weapon, yet since Yaniel's
death the blade has become inert. When handled by a paladin,
however, the blade suddenly glows with golden light and
functions as a +1 cold iron longsword that radiates light as a
torch on command. The weapon shifts and changes its form to
match the paladin's deity's favored weapon
    (in the hands of a
paladin who doesn't worship a deity, the weapon remains a +1
longsword). Certain events and tasks can awaken Radiance's
latent powers, eventually transforming it into a full-fledged
holy avenger-t hese events are noted in the following
adventures in Wrath of the Righteous as they occur.
In addition, Radiance is a legendary item (Pathfinder RPG
Mythic Adventures 1 69) that bonds with a mythic paladin as
soon as it is wielded in combat-in this adventure, Radiance
bonds if a paladin uses it in the final encounter against Vorlesh's
babaus. The weapon has two daily uses of legendary power
that recharge each day, but does not currently possess any
legendary attributes, for it has yet to be wielded by a mythic
paladin. As Radiance has its own ability to grow in power, it
cannot be given the upgradable legendary item ability.

Anyways, thanks for your time Papa. Hopefully you'll find someone who will stick around.

Eh, anything Star Wars has me in awe. However, specifically I liked Finn's fight, Kylo's narration "you HAVE to kill it" and Poe's words "ignite a flame that burns the First Order".

But, I liked the entire speech by Saw in the Rogue One trailer and it wasn't even in the final movie so...

I highly doubt the Porgs will get as much screen time as Jar-Jar.

I AM excited for Chewie being in the pilots chair though...

And Finn gets his own epic battle it looks like. That's awesome.

Also, I think Kylo Ren is gonna be amazing.

This Shirren is on a grand tour of the galaxy. My son, Chk-Chk, requires stimulus to properly develop, and I am providing that stimulus by assisting various groups in their troubles. The Lady protects and provides for the two of us.

Ah! It is our great pleasure to meet a new species. We greet you Warden. and then Keskodai raises up the tiny cylinder at his waist and says Chk-Chk. Do you see the Superior Barathu. Yes, the Warden is several sentient beings merged into one more advanced life form. Fascinating.

Being a Shirren who loves new things, Keskodai will try the food and drink. Ah. A bit...proteiny. he says upon tasting the drink

Ooh. Another humanoid to meet! Hopefully it will not attack us.

Indeed. I so enjoy meeting new people. It's a shame that sometimes they die and I must attend their funereal rites. Keskodai says cheerily

It would be pleasant to meet new creatures. I am always excited by the prospect of such an adventure.

Sounds like that would dovetail with the herbalist druid nicely. In fact, the non-campaign trait I am taking has this fluff text:

    Quote:
With the help of a druidic healer, you narrowly escaped death by disease or poisoning while on the run from Molthuni militias, whether contracting the ailment was an accident or you were the victim of more sinister forces.

Change "druidic" to "herbalist witch" and that could be you. I was poisoned while trying to get away from an attacking Molthuni force I stumbled across, and you saved me. We became friends, and now you come to Phaedren to bring me things from deep in the forest that I can't easily get to.

    What do you think?

Sounds perfect. That fits seamlessly with my concept.

A Shirren enters and chitters I am Keskodai. I too have a meeting with the Vee Cee. and then seeing new companions Keskodai chitters happily I am Keskodai. It is my great pleasure to meet you.

I'm actually uncertain if Shirren can physically speak, or can only use their limited telepathy...if the latter then assume that Keskodai just uses that to everyone.

Looking around the PFSRD. I like This archetype alot.

Ok, so sounds like we need some sort of Arcane character then!

(Unfortunately, that sort of precludes my pre generated ideas. However, I have another idea!)

I think I'll play a Witch with the Elements Patron (I'm seeing his Patron as "Nature") and the Blight Burned Trait.

Between a Druid and a Witch we should have most types of magic covered...

My basic idea is that the character would be raised deep in the Fangwood and not really be a native of Phaedren. However, whenever the campaign kicks off he would be in Phaedren peddling his herbalism.

edit: I don't like the Slumber Hex and I won't be taking it. Ever.

Okay, waiting on the others before I decide. I think Ayesha is going martial so that leaves Dejik and myself.

Ayesha, he should wield a greatclub!
