Thanks for your response!

I am interested in applying. Any information you need from me I will gladly provide (via PM if you prefer).

What would be the style of this game (e.g. heavy RP, combat, exploration, etc.)?

Would custom story elements be allowed? (more for flavor not mechanics)

Anything you can tell us about your GM style?

I'm up for it! Just got to give the book a read before I submit a character. I'll try to have it by the weekend

Female Kitsune Cleric 6

my Nori profile on wayfinder disappeared

Nori tries to identify the sound as she sneaks past Slegger and up the tunnel toward the room. It was foreign to her bit maybe she could determine if it were an animal cry or other worldly.

Nori wraps her hand around the door handle and gently depresses it. She eases the portal open and peers inside.

for some reason my wayfinder app isn't registering the Nori Nao alias.

It's getting better. When I transitioned, there weren't nearly as many resources as are available today. There was pretty much no hope of insurance paying for anything. Heck, at this point, we're the hip new fad. Everyone wants a transperson in their pocket.

I definitely appreciate you wonderful pioneers. You've had to face a lot of trials and tribulations to get us where we are now. We've still got a long way to go, but the community has made some great strides.

Many hugs, Lissa!

Sounds like a great time Lissa!

I'm just as disappointed as you, KSF. Fear is such an overriding emotion, especially when you perceive (whether legitimately or in this case, falsely) that your loved ones are threatened. But that's the sad state of the world we live in right now. Fear is the great motivator for everything we, as a society does.

As a pre-hormone trans woman, it scares me to take the journey ahead knowing the amount of discrimination, vitriol, and disgust that I may face. I read about it every time I read other trans persons' stories. The struggle is real. But at the same time, I know that there are those who support and invest love in the trans community. So thank you to those who advocate for us and offer their love ^.^

Lol ill keep nori then. We'll see where this goes.

roger roger. I will probably just purchase a Rogue's Kit and call it a day.

Alrighty. I think I'm going ninja.

Nori:

A young Nori grew up with her father on a farm among Lord Nichitaka's lands. Her life in poverty would not be short lived. At 10, her father sold the girl to an apothecary as an apprentice in an attempt to get Nori into a decent trade. Yoshi Nao demanded much of the young girl, not only in the disciplined crafting of his remedies and alchemical items, but in physical fitness and martial arts as was common in Tian Xia society. Her natural grace lent to her steady hand and coordination while her serpentine heritage lent to her skill with poisons. Nori spent several years under Nao's tutelage.
Nori's life changed the moment a crimelord walked into the shop...

The bell on the door jingled and Nori looked up from the recipe book. Several armed men strode into the shop, pretending to survey the wares. They fanned out, covering all corners of the small store. Behind them, in stepped a woman of dark beauty and darker malice. Nori's heart began to race and she reached for the cup of water she had at hand. She took a gulp and prepared to welcome the lady.
"Welcome, Lady Xian." Nori gave a bow as was customary.
"Shut your mouth, girl" the woman sneered, "Nao is late on his payments and I have come to collect."
Nori felt a prang of anger, but managed to keep it polite.
"I'm sorry, Lady Xian. My master has left me nothing for you..."
"I will NOT hear your excuses, half-breed!"Xian practically spit on the girl. Nori's barely visible scales shown brighter as her face reddened.
"We will have the coin today or this shop will be sundered." The lady motioned to one of her men who promptly drew his katana and swung it hard, smashing several glass beakers and measuring equipment. Nori couldn't help but gasp in horror as some of her hard work was destroyed. In her discipline, the girl gripped the counter in order to keep from losing her temper. She wouldn't survive if she attacked them. But fate had other plans.
"Now... get me the coin he keeps in that barrel in the back. I know there is plenty,"Xian snickered, seeing the surprised look on Nori's face. Xian, to put a point in her arrogance, picked up the girl's cup and took a long drink. Nori only turned away, only realizing what was about to happen when she heard the lady choking. As soon as the girl disappeared into the back, she bolted for the door. The shouting began and cries for help began to echo out into the street that Nori sprinted down.

Nori's skills were not fully developed and she was soon caught by the Prefects who kept the law. They tried her for the murder of a noble but as an accident could not be ruled out, thus she was exiled from Tian Xia. For the last year of her life, she had been traveling, unsure of where to call home. Through her journey, she heard of the famous Pathfinder Society. Their reputation of accepting those strays and marginalized persons gave her hope to find some purpose outside of Tian. Hopefully, her talents would be useful to them.

@DM Shadowbloodmoon - oh Iraldia isn't for this game. I just forgot to change who I was posting from. I'll have a character up tonight. Sorry to confuse.

The Iraldia's post is mine. I forgot I set her as default.

@DM Shadowbloodmoon - If you want, during the times that you're unable to run, I can pick up for you. We can discuss it via PM if you'd prefer.

I am definitely interested and I will have a character set up by this evening. I do have to note that I'm almost half a world away from most (about 8 hours ahead of US Central time) so my posts will come in the or morning-afternoon or late night for those in the US.

I am not familiar with the Unchained stuff yet so I might need a briefing on it.

It's a pretty good idea.
It would start out easy for a GM, being able to play straight from the scenarios. But they'd have to edit the high level scenarios for low level characters and vice versa. And if it went on long enough, the scenario challenges would have to be completely revamped as level 12+ as PFS has no scenarios beyond the "retirement" levels beyond a module or two..

Female Kitsune Cleric 6

Iraldia glanced behind her and saw the kin making their line behind her. She kept low to the shadows watching the forms on the towers intently.
stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

so intently in fact that she didn't notice the muddy slope. Her foot slipped from under her just about the same time the dwarf bit it. She scrambled up under the tower to avoid line of sight. "we've had it! Let's move!"
moving the token on wayfinder isn't going to work. So if someone could move me up under the left tower please. And I'm not sure why but my wayfinder does not have my alias. I'll fix it in the morning

Alrighty, I think I've got my character worked out. There she is below!

Little Wispy:

Quill and Remy Rosebowers had embarked on many business ventures throughout their early lives. Some were lucrative for a short time, others fell through completely. The family was constantly on the move whether for trade or to flee from angry former business investors. The couple was never malicious...just not as financially savvy as they could have been. By the time the third child was born, the parents decided to set sail on one last business plan: a trade route between the mainland and a small, prosperous island called Sieben Inseln. They quickly set up as a tourist transport, offering luxurious travel to the isles for a paradise getaway. As business grew and the children got older, the halflings bought a small home in the island community.

Little Wisp was the middle of three children. Her parents weren't neglectful but Wisp grew up a distant and lonesome child. When her parents were asked about Wisp's quiet nature, they would simply reference a great earthquake that "shook the spirit out of her" when she was only 4. Frequently, Wisp would be seen a dozen steps away from the rest of the family, stamping points on the ground as if it would betray her at any moment. Her parents did take notice that when traveling on the sea with their estranged child, she would be at much more ease. Something about the water drew her and the girl would be found by the water whenever she was in distress. That was how she met her mentor.

Little Wisp sat at the edge of the dock, staring down into the water mesmerized but afraid of its depth. She barely noticed the lizard's figure hoovering close by.
"Izzz beautiful, yesss?" The girl looked up to the lizardman. She nodded in agreement.
"It is ssscarey azzz well?
Another nod.
"Izz not ssscarey if you knowsss how to ssspeaksss to it," He leaned down as if to listen to the water. his body was decorated with totems and seagreen tattoos. The girl tilted her head curiously then followed his lead as if she would hear something.
"I don't hear nuffin'" she whispered.
"Thatsss fine...I teach youss to hearsss it."

Wisp Waverider:

Under Seatongue's tutelage, Wisp learned how to attune herself to the sea that had called her even as a child. She learned to swim, to channel the oceans power, and to revere the god of the seas: Gozreh. Wisp grew to not only love the water and its ebb and flow of energy, but also the creatures that dwell there. As part of her initiation into a full fledged druid, she called out to Gozreh and the seas for a companion, for a totem creature with whom to share her spirit. As if on queue, a dolphin began to leap out of the water just off from where Wisp sat in the tide. The dolphin responded to her call and danced upon the water as it neared. It was a moment of beauty when the two met. The day Wisp met Squeeks was the day that Wisp found the joy that had been lost to her as a child...and they danced on the waves together.

As a initiated druid, her charge was to keep the peace between nature and the many tourists her parents brought to the island. She felt annoyed by their presence, but did not despair it. Wisp and her companion Squeeks would even entertain the rare special guest. But a measure of mirth disappeared when ships began to disappear at sea. She worried for her family and her fears were realized when her parents' ship was added to that list. The druid picked up her spear and gear, ready to face what dangers lurked in the sea she loved so much to discover the fate of her parents.

Good call and I did consider that. Her personality was going to be such that she was at home in the water and stuck to the coast. When in less water-based environments, she might feel uncomfortable and at odds with her surroundings. She wont be useless on land though. I'll make sure of that. Thanks!

Dot! I would be interested in joining. My initial concept would be an halfling Druid. They shouldn't conflict but if it's cool with you, I'd like to take two Archetypes: Aquatic Druid and Pack Lord. The first would adapt the character much more for the water. The second would remove wild shape but maybe give her a company of aquatic animals (dolphins probably?) to call on in the water. Thoughts?

Female Kitsune Cleric 6

"Goblins!" Orcetta cried out in a brief moment of fright. Her Keeper had fended off these green skinned tree scorchers on more than one occasion. Now it was time for her to step up to defend her adopted home. [b]"Irisai, my love. I need you!" She spoke in plantspeach. Out of the leafy vines that wound around her body, a cluster of leaves ruffled and leap away. A small creature made of jungle leaves hopped around at the fey's feet. With a wave of her hand, Orcetta coated her staff in a glowing pollen casting shillelagh

"Feydra Niska, Fedya Koya." Orcetta addressed them in druid initially, bowing respectfully, "it is lovely to see you on this beautiful day. I hope that you might visit our Grove after the celebration. My keeper makes wonderful berry cider." She spotted the note pinned to her tree over the ladies' shoulders and grew annoyed at who might have done so.

I was reporting on a game back in December and one of the sessions that I tried to report did not associate with a session number. It is still listed under the event (#54740) but I can't edit it. The new session I created for it wont give the players credit because of the stuck session report. How can I fix this? Thank you.

3/5

I've always found it awkward to have characters enter into a game that isn't suited for their type of character. For instance, having a party that are mostly combat oriented attempt an espionage scenario like "The Disappeared". It can lead to boredom for those players and jeopardize the mission because they don't have the necessary abilities. Further, thinking about the in-game world, the Venture-Captains would try to choose Pathfinders suited to the task they need accomplished.

Is it legal to let the players know the style of a scenario prior to playing it so they can decide if they want to play it?

For example: If I were to run "Library of the Lion", I might tell them that it is light combat, heavy skill checks, etc. Nothing that would give away the content necessarily.
