Vrexis is worried about the scent of rotting flesh all around... it bothers her alot. We need to escape! We are surrounded and in a tight space, make flight! Vrexis shuffles nervously and keeps her grip on her blade tight, but she keeps casting her guidence despite the threat.

Vrexis holds her sleeves up to her beak from the stench, the sleeves become thick and tough, like denim, to help stop the smell.

Vrexis (who is back to normal size by now) keeps her Katana forword and says Dead approach. Steel yourselves!

Vrexis turns to the slimes and begins a spell, knowing it to be one more she can't get back... beginning to cast sommon swarm, the bat version of it when she finishes, a swarm of bats emerges out of nowhere on top of the slimes, their wings and fangs battering the zombie like creatures.

I have only one Familiar, this Foul thing is hardly linked to me! where is my Beautiful Bird Fen, you foul thing! Vrexis pints her large Katana at the floating skull. her large size makes her a little stuffed in the room, but she manages it somehow.

just had a thought, the skeleton has "masterful footwork" and the fighter couldn't hit him... then the witch decapitates it with one blow... Irony :P

vrexis moves back, but rather than moving to excape, she begins casting a spell. when she finishes she grows to the size of an ogre, large and mighty so five foot step away from the threat, then casts enlarge person on herself. I am not afraid, i will crush them!

Vrexis takes a five foot step towards the skeleton, and says. I don't care what you have to say, foul walker. You shall fall to my blade! she then swings her sword, unleashing the power of a spell behind it Using arcane strike

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Vrexis casts a simple cantrip on her ally, to guide his next attack, then steadies herself and moves to try to get around the skeleton. Vrexis cast Guidance on John, who will hopefully attack next turn, she then tries to get behind the skeleton but is staying 10ft away from the creature by moving around it's threatened squares.

Vrexis hadn't prepared any undead fighting spells... she didn't think she needed combat spells yesterday... and now Fen was gone she couldn't do much against this enemy without wasting her spells she instead readies herself. she then studies her target, trying to notice anything unusual.

Vrexis looks at Uriel with an annoyed look on her face... What if that was a sleeping dragon? you could have easily just woke it up!... well to be honest we all would have woken it up... but you have to be cautious when it comes to things like this!

Vrexis shakes her head and clicks her beak.

Vrexis huffs. Well, I could have floated across... but now I feel I've use it prematurely. one thing I can do is fall into the pit. I can fall any distance without an issue. However I may need help getting back up, you see, I'm not a good climber. Vrexis then sends her own lantern down the Pit... to better illuminate the hole.

well I generally give the loot where it is needed or best put to use...

up to you really, I'd just take some loot that would obviously be best in the hands of an arcane spellcaster... although if there happens to be a sword that no-one can use I'll totally take it, my blade training helps a lot with that :)

Vrexis frowns... she was never a good climber. Instead she uses her ability to levatate to reach the top, she clambers over with a little difficulty, but otherwise becomes weightless. If one of you help pull me along I can follow, but otherwise we have about 4 minutes before I come back down... Vrexis smiles at john as she floats over the edge...

Oh, thanks :)but to be honest we all have reason to pitch in and save the bird, otherwise the party total gold will be crippled for at least a level.

Vrexis is no longer sad, rather she is furious. If i come upon the ones who took Fen i will rip them apart! she draws her katana and follows the others. She knows she can't help much in combat, and without Fen she doesn't want to waist her spells. she surveys the area, but she knows she may not help...

Vrexis is now in total disarray. Oh my poor bird... my poor Fen... years are slowly pooring down her face as she speaks... If Fen is dead, she has to pay for a new one... quite a bit...0-0

Vrexis helps by casting dancing lights herself (same kind) to create more light. She calls out occasionally in tengu, scanning for Fen with both mind and body.

Tengu:

Vrexis huffs and lets her raven, Fen, fly off. he perches on John's shoulder. I may sleep, but it seems Fen isn't tired... even if he is a lazy bird! she then pulls out her bedroll and organizes her supplies. she pulls out her handy silver Any-tool and folds it into a shovel she uses to help dig a fire-pit

if john doesn't mind, Fen(the raven)will sit on his sholder and because he and Vrexis have deliver touch spells, as long as Fen isn't attacked, he will act as a ranged means of casting cure light wounds.

I have one condition to this though... let me read your thoughts to see that you are not lieing... that'd way I know it's not a trap... until then, you will be treated as a threat, and if you happen to do something even slightly aggressive then I will kill you without hesitation... so do you accept to have me read your thoughts? WHERE ARE THE CANNONS! I see no cannons in our group, why should we call ourselves the cannonball Raiders when we have neither a boat nor any cannons! we have a wolf, a Raven, some weapons, music and fighting spirit!... not cannons Vrexis huffs loudly, her beak whistling like a bird for just the tiniest of moments.

Look, I appreciate the enthusiastic approach! But I don't feel safe in a "low chance for survival" Champaign when all my allies are walking armories. It's like taking a tank to a dogfight (the jet kind not the animals). Sure the tank has its strength, but a Jet will take it out faster than you think.

I would like a far more balanced party, yes Joshua is a good choice, when is a bard ever not? Then what we need is in fact a rouge or simular anti-trap and stealthy class. I would take in a Ninja if that was a choice!
