Tulia flies forward, tumbling through the air in a hopeless attempt to avoid an attack from the dragon.
She then plucks the diadem from Volstus' head.

With a look of steel determination, Tulia does not hesitate. "Anything. What is it?"
Tulia reloads her crossbow and takes a shot at the same giant.
Tulia has no problems keeping up with Vael, flying forward on wings perfectly made for this situation. When she sees a fire giant, she lets loose a bolt from her crossbow!
Unable to stay passive any longer, Tulia emerges from Vael's enlarged body. Surveying the scene quickly, she spies the monstrosity to the south.
She then readies her crossbow, though it's a weapon she reserves for giants.
Meanwhile, Tulia reloads and fires her crossbow.
Tulia flies forward and quickly fires her own crossbow. She knows it's not much, but she wants to injure the giant who injured Raen.
"I'll be with Hamilton. Got to keep him safe," Tulia says, flying up and after the roughrider. She stops a few paces behind him and Sammi, her crossbow ready.
Tulia flies back to stay clear of the dragon's breath, reloading her crossbow.
Tulia fires a crossbow bolt at the giant.
Tulia zips in on her own fluttering wings, her crossbow loaded as usual. Seeing the troll she lets fly a tiny, giant-hating bolt!
"I, uh... I don't think my crossbow is much use here!"
Tulia flies up and over Doxon, leveling her crossbow and firing a giant-hating bolt at the troll.
Tulia takes aim with her crossbow, firing it at the giant.
"Lykophos! If you can help either slow down the spiders or blind the giant, that'd be a big boon!"
Tulia does her part, flying forward to sting the demon with her magic crossbow
Tulia flits over to the frozen Ushyle. "Will be be okay? He's still breathing, at least. But this can't be comfortable."
Tulia uses another charge from the wand and heals Doxon. She then picks up her crossbow.
Tulia drops her crossbow and reaches for the wand at Vael's belt, pulling it free with a firm tug. She activates the item by whispering the command word, then places her own healing hand on Doxon.
Tulia squeaks in terror as the stone tunnel breaks around her. She is first struck by the morhg, then tongue-lashed. Vael's magic softens the blow significantly, and the paralysis washes over her with no effect.
Freezing in place when she becomes exposed, Tulia takes a defensive posture over Doxon's body. Then Raen appears and, just as quickly, whisks them away.
Tulia draws upon her innate curative powers and flies into the newly created tunnel. She places a hand on Doxon, healing him.
Tulia loads he crossbow and takes aim. "Just a little closer, silly giant."
Readied action:
Tulia flies into range but is stymied by the ice block of a scorpion.
"On it," Tulia replies, flying forward and racing past Vael.
Tulia keeps pace with Vael.
Tulia casts her own healing spell, then flies forward to place a hand on Ushyle.
With whirring wings the azata flies towards the roughrider and places a hand on Hamilton. Immediately the healing energy flows into him.
"See? I can still teach you things!" Tulia replies, loading her crossbow and firing it at the giant in the corner.
"Vael, get out of there you fool!" the familiar shouts, once more loading and firing her crossbow.
Tulia reloads and fires her crossbow.
The azata levels her crossbow at the giant giant nearest Vael.
Tulia flies back and once more takes aim with her crossbow at the lead fire giant!
Firing through cover, Tulia nonetheless focuses on the giant she can see.
Tulia thinks about it, looking at the skeletons.
"Pretty in their own way, but not a location that matters," she says, sharing what she knows.
Tulia watches Raen, deciding to study what she's studying.

Tulia reloads her crossbow and flies around to get a better vantage point for her to aim.
Reloading her crossbow, the azata says, "You never were the 'charge in' sort, Vael. No reason to start now." She punctuates this by firing a bolt at the nearby giant.
With wings that whir and flit, Tulia flies above the advancing elephant. She levels her crossbow at the nearest giant and lets fly a hate-filled bolt!
Tulia unloads a tiny bolt at the visible giant.
Tulia follows Vael
"I'm not much help here. Let me know if there's any hidden giants, Vael!"
Tulia flies north, positioning herself to fire upon the lone giant. Her crossbow hums angrily as the bolt flies!
Tulia flies forward, her eye on the giant. Although it's fara she takes aim with her crossbow, firing a bolt at the giant in melee with Ham.
Tulia fires her crossbow at the nearest giant, then takes flight to get well beyond the range of the foe.
Tulia fires her crossbow at the giant initially struck by Vael's spell. She then reloads her weapon.
"Yes, but it's still not clear what you did or did not do. Now it's fine if you're not interested in telling that tale. I respect privacy, but if your intention is to atone then the ritual will indeed help you. Desna has told me so," Tulia says, convinction in every word. "Please, do not treat this as some kind of irreversible punishment. Let us help you on that path, and take you to see a priest or priestess who will hear your story and let you atone. Not today, but this is important so perhaps tomorrow. We are all behind you." Finally, she picks up on something he said. "Wait, what you mean by 'any living soul'?"
With her first question coming back in the affirmative, the azata continues her questions to Desna. Or, at least, a Desnan proxy of some sort. "Oh Lady Luck, does Milani's displeasure have anything to do with a group of Orc slaves that we freed?" Tulia asks.
She ponders this for a moment, then asks, "Queen of the North Star, does Milani's displeasure at Ushyle have anything to do with the weapon he wields?"
"Dear Starsong, does Milani's displeasure have anything to do with the form he has taken?" she asks this question, a hint of doubt in her voice. It can't be, but best to be sure.
She's relieved, and surprises herself with a deep exhale. Then she asks, "Tender of Dreams, does Ushyle know the reason for Milani's displeasure?"
"Mother Moon, will a magical Atonement redeem Ushyle?" Tulia finishes, feeling the connection begin to fade.
The spell ends, and Tulia's face looks grim. "I need to talk to Vael." ===================================== The azata does indeed talk with the dwarf, who suggests that she bring this topic up with the Milanite. The two call Ushyle aside, to speak with him in private. "Hi, uh, Ushyle," Tulia says, uncharacteristically uncertain. "Look, I think we've all noticed that something's up with your bond to the Everbloom. I asked Desna a couple questions and, in her inifinite patience, she answered. But I can tell you it's hard when you don't know what the right questions to ask are. So let me explain," The azata flits over to Ushyle and places a delicate hand on his shoulder. "I know that Milani is... not necessarily angry, but perhaps disappointed. It has nothing to do with the orc slaves we freed, with the blade you wield, or with this new form that Vael gave you. But I know that you know why the goddess is disappointed. She still listens to you, and answers your prayers but it's possible that atonement in some form is needed. Now, if you really want, Vael can take us to Elysium. We can perhaps find a priestess within Milani's Garden who can perform an atonement. If you want." Before Ushyle can even get a word in, the fast-talking lyrakien azata adds, "And I'm really sorry, but I'm dying to know, to understand... what could possibly have disappointed Milani? It's not from any action of yours that I've seen."
