Yes, pretty happy that we're going to get a chunk of this for 13th Age. However, since that system does some things differently, many elements just don't apply. On the other hand, we're adding in a lot of feats because, well, that's the way some things work for 13th Age.

And I'm very happy that the reviewer noticed that considerable work that went into both design and presentation.

Any estimation of when the 13th Age compatible edition of this product will be published? Is the .PDF ready?

5 people marked this as a favorite.

I realize that this idea is perhaps poorly timed with the current "Tyranny of Dragons" theme going on during 5th edition's debut. That being said, I've always wanted Paizo to publish a dragon-centric AP.

I want a dragon big bad at the end. Other dragons, good and evil, bestial and intelligent, can feature throughout as can a cabal of draconic heritage sorcerers and half-dragon warriors.

...does it feel like Im playing a hero from 1st level and is combat engaging and thorough?

Absolutely. Characters are very much heroic right at character creation. Combat is engaging because the natural d20 roll triggers different outcomes in addition to determining whether an attack hit or missed. Sounds similar to 4th ed conventions, right? But where 4th ed had a lot of features I didn't like, bland powers and powers entirely focused on a tactical grid (push, pull, marked, etc.) 13th Age powers, talents, spells, and feats are bursting with flavor and story possibilities. Each class feels unique.

13th Age really took the best parts of 3rd and 4th, and has enough of a nod to the flavor and feel of Basic / 1st that it is my favorite fantasy rpg yet. The SRD is up, but I'd recommend getting the core book as it contains design notes and flavor text that isn't in the SRD, and those extras make the book a joy to read.

I received my hardcopy of the 13th Age Bestiary earlier this week. Saturday night I'm going to run another 13th Age session, a conversion of Paizo's "Hollow's Last Hope" module for new players. I'm replacing some of the encounters with new creatures from the Bestiary such as stirges, kobold shadow-warriors, and a redcap!

I love 13th Age. I hope the new players do also.

I will continue to use Pathfinder campaign setting and adventure materials that I will take from and use as I wish in a 13th Age game. I'm happy that Paizo produced content that was rules / edition free, or at least easy to convert to other systems.

I'm through with tactical grids and rules mechanics that rely on them. I am curious about 5th Edition / D&D Next, but that is because I know nothing about it. I may play it if someone in my gaming group runs it. But right now I'm excited about and invested in 13th Age.

Apologies if this belongs in a different forum. I want to run the Serpent's Skull adventure path using the 13th Age role-playing game. I like the idea of the adventurers traveling from Avistan to Garund aboard the Jenivere. This will be a new campaign with a new system for my gaming group, and I want this freshness mirrored in-game with a new continent of exotic and unfamiliar flora, fauna, and factions.

To ease the conversion and keep the story and themes of the Serpent's Skull intact, I plan to replace the traditional 13th Age Icons with the factions of this adventure path. I've added a sixth faction, a Serpent Conspiracy. My vision for this faction is that Ydersius is calling to higher functioning serpentfolk to prepare his way. For some serpentfolk that does not mean travelling to Ilmurea, but rather infiltrating and undermining the successors of the Azlanti, the current human civilizations and organizations. Here are the factions as I see them on the equivalent of the 13th Age Icon Relationships Master Chart:

Heroic
Pathfinder Society

Ambiguous
Aspis Consortium
Sargavan Government
Free Captains of the Shackles

Villainous
Red Mantis Cult
Serpent Conspiracy

I'd like to have one more heroic faction but am reluctant to create one whole cloth. I would move one of the ambiguous ones to the heroic column, but they are not my vision of heroic.

Does anyone here have any suggestions or experience with using the factions in a manner envisioned by the 13th Age Icon relations?

I have heard good things about Ashen Stars. I know the GUMSHOE system is rules lite from having played Trail of Cthulhu. I'd like to try Ashen Stars but you know the old saying of too many games and not enough time to play them.

I have the same issue, but signing out and signing back in has not resolved the problem. What should I try next? Thanks.

Perhaps that's not the best name for this idea. The "Tired Tropes Redeemed" Adventure Path might be more accurate. I was wondering if Paizo was up to the challenge of violating the old Dungeon Magazine submission guidelines and design an adventure path inclusive of the following elements:

  • Dragon holding a princess for ransom
  • courtly intrigues featuring a Lord and/or Lady Macbeth, Richard III, or Claudius type character scheming for the throne
  • knightly tournaments to determine the best to quest for the weapon necessary to kill the dragon / rescue the princess
  • evil witches and/or wizards in league with the schemers or dragon
  • border tensions with neighboring monarchy (and Gilder to frame for it all)
  • other traditional fairy tale and medieval tropes

Are any Paizo fans interested in seeing their favorite gaming company breathe new life into these old tales?

People have been asking for this book ever since the tradition of starting up a series on fiends that covers demons and devils and then peters out began, actually. Step one: get daemons into print in Bestiary 2. We can check that step off, obviously, and move on to step 2. Whatever that might be...

James, I have a friend that bought Green Ronin's "Legions of Hell" and "Armies of the Abyss" and then was pissed when "Hordes of Gehenna" was canceled and combined with the previous two in "The Book of Fiends" because he didn't want to buy the first two products over again just to get the third.

Then he bought "Fiendish Codex I" and "Fiendish Codex II" from WotC and then cursed Fourth Edition for ensuring that no Fiendish Codex III was forthcoming.

I frequently show him some of the great stuff I buy from Paizo and that he might be interested in "Book of the Damned Volume 1: Princes of Darkness" and "Book of the Damned Volume 2: Lords of Chaos."

His reply is he's not buying any of it until a book on daemons is released. So, not only can you count on him buying Volume 3, but he'll get vols. 1 and 2 as well!

I know people write mostly when something goes wrong or when some action is necessary.

I'm writing to thank everyone at Paizo, from the authors, artists, and editors on down to the warehouse team.

I ordered eight different items from multiple Paizo product lines. I used my Pathfinder Advantage discount, the Season's Greetings card discount, selected some of the deeply discounted Scratch-'n-Dent items, and took advantage of the First Ten shipping deal.

Paizo handled the order without a hitch and I had my items less than a week after I ordered them and at considerable savings. And the Scratch-'n-Dent items were amazing in quality. I've seen product on sale for full price in worse condition than what Paizo considers non-mint.

I am completely satisfied with my order and am immensely enjoying reading Heart of the Jungle right now. I just wanted to thank all of you and reiterate what every gamer should know, Paizo are the best in the business!

Will Viperwall be one of the dungeons discussed in this product?

Any chance this Adventure Path, or at least one of its adventures, will incorporate the Harrow deck for some macabre purpose?

Congratulations Paizo, every time I even consider ending my Pathfinder adventure path subscription you announce yet another awesome premise. I didn't think you could do any better than the Serpent's Skull adventure path. The Carrion Crown adventure path has me equally excited. Well played Paizo, well played.

Same here.

This line in the description, "an overview of the ancient serpentfolk of the Mwangi Expanse and their eerie magic," has me terribly excited.

I'm hoping the serpentfolk are a continual threat throughout the Adventure Path and not just reserved for one chapter or worse, a long dead race that have left behind only ruins and artifacts.

Bring on the snakey goodness Paizo!

Agree! Erol Otus is my first choice. Jeff Dee is a close second.

After a downturn, I've found the last two episodes to be excellent. I was happy to see a few familiar faces that haven't been seen in a long time.

I hope this return to quality lasts because volumes 3 and 4 have been inconsistent to say the least.

No way. I'm glued. Season 3 has been delivering in my opinion. The pace has been breakneck, so it is only natural that the answers and reasons why will take a little while to catch up.

I trust that Hiro has a plan. The fun is going to be finding out what it is and how it is being implemented.

I can't wait for Monday.

One week to go until Heroes Season Three: Villains. Is anyone else excited? I've finished reviewing my season 1 & 2 dvds so now I'm chomping at the bit!

That new cover is amazing! I was considering buying this adventure after I took a look at its contents. I know I'm not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I'm such a Halloween fan that this adventure coming out in October with that cover makes it a definite sale! Congratulations Paizo, your marketing worked perfectly on me.

P.S.
Who is the cover artist?

Congratulations Paizo! You've kept me as a happy customer for a few years now. I'm glad you're getting this well deserved recognition. Onward and upward!

Good luck! I took (and passed) the Missouri bar exam last summer so I know how nerve-wracking it can be. Stay on top of your studies and practice exams. Then trust your preparation and try to relax the weekend before. Don't panic during the exams, just answer as best you can. You'll do fine!

I watched Hawk the Slayer over and over again nearly every time they played it in heavy rotation on the cable movie channels. For those unfamiliar, here are two minutes of AWESOME!

In the theaters, I saw Ghostbusters multiple times during the summer of 1984.

Vic Wertz wrote:

I received both #10 and #11 in the mail yesterday. Thanks for your help and for bundling the two together. I've only given them a cursory browse but they both look awesome! Paizo and their customer service rock, as always.

D'oh! Should have been obvious—it was attached to an expired card. I see you've updated the card, so I've made it so your Pathfinder #10 will ship with your Pathfinder #11.

I think I'm in the same boat. I updated my credit card information earlier this month. #10 says "Pending" but #11 is getting ready to ship.

Vic Wertz wrote:
You have good timing—10 should be arriving in our warehouse in the next day or so, so you're still fine.

I'm still a little nervous. My Subscriptions page says #10 is still pending and I have yet to receive an e-mail saying it has shipped or that I may download the .pdf. Is there anything I need to do on my end?

Thanks.

Cosmo,

I'm a Pathfinder Adventure Path subscriber. The most recent issue I received was #9. Your website says #10 is still in preorder mode. I just recently remembered that I hadn't updated my credit card information to reflect a new expiration date. I just updated that a few minutes ago. I hope I've done so in enough time to avoid skipping an issue of Pathfinder. Will I still receive #10?

Thanks!

Alternity? Definitely a playtest for 3E.

I loved the Dark Matter setting for Alternity. I'm having fun reading the new Trail of Cthulhu from Pelgrane Press and if I feel really ambitious in the future I might try and run Dark Matter using that GUMSHOE system.

But the RPG I love the most is the Marvel Super-Heroes Adventure Game using the SAGA system, by none other than Mike Selinker.

Mr. Selinker, I met you briefly at Gen-Con a few years ago and predictably mispronounced your last name. I thanked you for this RPG, which I believe is the best attempt at capturing the fun and spirit of comic books. I saw this thread and want to thank you again. I'm running another session of this game next month and three of the players have never had the pleasure of playing.

You created a gem and it is unfortunate that many people never looked past their need for dice to appreciate it. That and it got caught up in Wizards decision to pare down to one role-playing system. What a shame. Seriously. Edge! Trump! Doom Bank! Such simple mechanics but they make for a suprisingly deep game. One in which Cap can adventure together with Thor and Iron Man and a villain like the Vulture can cause headaches for Spidey, just like in the comics! That is what it is all about, well that and having fun. This game delivers fun in heaping helpings! Thanks again.

I'm so glad I got the opportunity to thank you in person last year at Gen-Con. I hope that you are off on your greatest adventure now. I've got two gaming sessions coming up this week, one of which will take place, apropriately enough, in your creation, the free city of Greyhawk. We will raise glasses in your honor. Godspeed Gary!

Only five will be tough. I've got lots of movies I like. But to name my top five favorites is very hard. Here goes (in chronological order):

Star Wars (the original, Episode IV: A New Hope), 1977
Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1981
Ghostbusters, 1984
Heathers, 1989
The Fellowship of the Ring, 2001

There are too many honorable mentions to list, but many are referenced in posts above mine.

1) Do you plan to convert to the new edition of D&D?

3) If Paizo does not convert its RPG products to 4.0, how will that affect your purchasing patterns for our products?

1) I have no definite plans to convert to 4.0. My gaming group and I are all satisfied with our 3.5 material and are sitting this edition shift out while we utilize material we've barely scratched the surface of. I may convert, but it will be a few years into the new edition (hopefully after a second printing with errata).

2) I'll likely cancel my subscription to Pathfinder and stop buying GameMastery adventures at my FLGS. I'll continue to buy edition proof things like Item Cards, Map Packs, and Planet Stories. I can't go cold turkey off of Paizo!

3) I'll keep my Pathfinder subscription for the next path, Curse of the Crimson Throne. Beyond that I'll make a decision as I learn more about the new paths. I plan to keep buying occasional GameMastery adventures that are 3.5 compatible and strike my fancy, like J3: Crucible of Chaos, W2: River into Darkness, and D4: Hungry are the Dead.

All that being said, I think Paizo should embrace 4.0 unless it is just a horrible system. I'd hate to see Paizo go under because it stayed 3.5 or tried to serve two masters. I'm not ready to make the switch, but that doesn't mean I don't wish you the best of luck getting new customers!

I'd like to comment on the covers of Pathfinder so far. While I have enjoyed the artwork of the six volumes I possess and the preview for #7 looks of similar quality, I was hoping that style would change more for the new adventure path.

I would rather the background "action" pictures were more prominent and the solitary adventurer was downplayed or removed entirely. I remember seeing the preview art for #2 and marveling at the ghouls coming out of the well behind the unsuspecting adventurers entering the haunted house. I thought, that is going to be an amazing cover! I was somewhat disappointed when the volume arrived in the mail and Seoni was so prominent as to obscure the moon and cliff to the side of the house.

You're probably already stuck with this style for the new adventure path, but please consider shaking it up for the third adventure path. Thanks!

I also support the idea of combining shipping of individual orders with subscriptions. I'm interested in purchasing the Pathfinder Chronicles Gazetteer, the Harrow Deck and maybe some GameMastery modules and a Planet Stories novel or two. If I can bundle those with a future issue of my Pathfinder subscription that would be great. If not, I can get them at my FLGS. Well almost, my FLGS doesn't carry Planet Stories. Have they hit the major booksellers yet?

Not immediately. I'm still running an Age of Worms campaign, which all involved are still enjoying. I'd like to run Savage Tide, Rise of the Runelords, and other GameMastery, Dungeon magazine, and WotC modules without the hassles of conversion. Once I get through my backlog, I'll check out whatever happens to be the new edition of D&D.

Torpedo wrote:

My Age of Worms campaign is set in the World of Greyhawk and began on the evening of Starday, Reaping 1st, 595 C.Y.

Players were allowed to use any WotC published book for the 3.5 rules set that they could bring with them to the table to make their 28 point buy characters. Any non-WotC, non-3.5, or Forgotten Realms / Eberron material would only be allowed by DM's permission.

The initial characters were:

Krase Pareel, human fighter from Diamond Lake
Ragaust Stavo, human fighter from Diamond Lake
Jordanus, human warmage from Tarth Moorda in the Duchy of Urnst
Calvin Hendricks, human cleric of St. Cuthbert from the free city of Greyhawk

Ragaust and Jordanus died in the Whispering Cairn fighting the Mad Slasher and Acid Beetle swarm. They were replaced by:

Ballard Orbri, elan psion (kineticist) from parts unrevealed
Eryll Stavo, human rogue / fighter from Diamond Lake (younger brother of Ragaust)

After the Whispering Cairn and its sidequests were completed a new player joined the group. He is playing:

Selmaug Davos, human wizard from the free city of Greyhawk.

During the fight against Hextorites in the "Three Faces of Evil" Calvin was killed by the Dire Boar. He has been replaced by:

Bendekar Ebonhand, human Duskblade from the North Kingdom. Bendekar was a prisoner the Tieflings were trying to pry the secret Duskblade fighting style from.

Selmaug's player moved away. I invited a new player to join and he is playing a dwarf fighter-cleric of Moradin named Gaurock of Greysmere. My current group is:

Human Fighter
Dwarf Fighter-Cleric
Human Fighter-Rogue
Elan Psion (Kineticist)
Human Duskblade

I expect to still be playing D&D version 3.5 at the end of 2008. My reasons follow a bit of my history with D&D.

I've played D&D since the early 1980's and have done so continuously through all the editions. I started with the Basic and Expert boxed sets, and quickly moved to Advanced D&D (1st Edition). I treasure my 1st edition library of hardcovers and modules. 2nd Edition came along and I was not impressed. I bought a Player's Handbook because my gaming group was making the switch. Eventually I bought other books when I began to run a 2nd Edition campaign. I did not like much in the way of published adventures / sourcebooks duing the 2nd Edition era with the notable exceptions of the Night Below box set, the Return to series, and the Greyhawk '98 stuff. 3rd Edition came along and I immediately took to it. 1st Edition feel, 3rd Edition rules indeed. I bought into it hook, line, and sinker. I converted my Night Below campaign to 3rd Edition. This was not easy, but it was a labor of love, because I loved 3rd Edition. I have not cracked open a 2nd Edition hardcover since 2000. What is more, I had more fun playing D&D than I had since 1st Edition. The move to 3.5 was somewhat irritating at the time, but one that continued to better my game experience. So I have a vast 3.0-3.5 hardcover library that dwarfs my 1st and 2nd Edition libraries combined. It also includes every Dragon and Dungeon magazine published during the 3rd Edition era, most of the WotC published adventures, a few Freeport adventures, three GameMastery modules, and a subscription to Pathfinder.

Obviously I have a lot invested in 3rd Edition. I want to keep using it because I still enjoy it. I'm running a group through an Age of Worms campaign right now. I'd like to run the Savage Tide and Rise of the Runelords adventure paths as well. Also, I'd like to run several of the modules and Dungeon magazine adventures I have not had a chance to run yet.

Furthermore, my gaming group has edition fatigue. They are more adamant against making the switch to 4th Edition than I am. I'm not adamant really. I recognize that I'll switch someday, but I'm not going to be lining up in June to be one of the first to get the core books. I'll wait for the printing that includes the errata. But my group just wants to play with what we've got. This suits me fine because I've got enough material to play with for a long time. The end of 2008 is not that far away and I couldn't use all my 3.5 stuff up by then if I played three times a week.

4th Edition really has come too soon. Too soon in a historical sense of 1st Edition (1978-1989), 2nd Edition (1989-2000), 3.0-3.5 (2000-2003-2008). I prefer ten year cycles to five year ones, but I understand that business wants to make the money. It is still too soon for me to use up the stuff that I, the good customer bought from them, the business.

Why not convert my 3rd Edition stuff this time like I did before with Night Below? Two main reasons. The first is my gaming group doesn't want to switch. I'm not going to buy them all new Player's Handbooks and go through the work of conversion, that is both tedious and an inexact science. The second reason is that I don't feel like 4th Edition is being made for me. I just had a birthday and moved outside of the 18-36 demographic. What is more, I think that WotC is going after the 14-24 demographic. 3rd Edition made all the right nods to 1st Edition nostalgia and I felt it aimed to recapture those who had grown up with the game. Everything I've seen and read about 4th Edition tells me that this is the edition where most of the sacred cows get slaughtered and everything gets shaken up. "It's new, it's kewl, it's definitely not your father's D&D cause it pwns all other editions!" While I'm all for better rules that speed gameplay, I'm not a big fan of throwing away parts and rewriting other parts of the flavor and history of D&D that I've grown up with.

Perhaps I'm wrong in my gut reaction to 4th Edition news. I don't have all the information and that is why I have not railed against 4th Edition. It could be the best thing since 3.5, I just don't know. But I do know that I have plenty of stuff to keep playing D&D the way I like well past the end of 2008. I may eventually make the switch. Perhaps in 2011, but then that would be right on schedule.

1. Have you purchased a Planet Stories novel or anthology yet? If so, which one(s)?

Yes, I've purchased The Anubis Murders by Gary Gygax and Black God's Kiss by C.L. Moore.

2. What author in the Planet Stories line most interests you?

Either Henry Kuttner or C.L. Moore, but Robert E. Howard is close behind.

3. Please list the following genres in the order you would prefer that we focus on in late 2008 and beyond:

1. Sword & Sorcery
2. "Weird" Fiction
3. Horror/Gothic Fantasy
4. Sword & Planet
5. Lost Worlds Tales
6. Jungle Tales
7. Space Opera
8. Science Fiction

4. What can I do to get you to buy more Planet Stories books?

How about a blog that would precede each Planet Stories release by a few weeks, sort of like the book's introduction, that tells the potential customer about a) the history of the tales included and what they've influenced through the years, and b) the story of the author.

5. If we offer a monthly subscription with, say, a 30% discount off the cover price, would you consider subscribing?

Yes

I use item cards to represent magic items only. If a player has a card, that player knows it is a magic item. As players get higher in level they get more feats, class abilities, and magic items. I've found that using Paizo item cards helps players remember what they've got and get more use out of their items. And players love it when I'm describing the treasure I'm simultaneously handing out cards. It makes them feel like they've really won something. Plus it is an easy way to keep track of potion use. They turn in the card to me after drinking a potion.

I don't have the Equipment cards. I've been tempted though. After five sets of item cards we still don't have anything for magical rope. I'm not sure I want to spend $10 bucks on the equipment cards just to get a card for rope. Maybe it will appear in the next set!

My modules were perfectly preserved. I eagerly await future modules in the GameMastery line. They will make the loss of Dungeon magazine a little easier to take. Kudos Paizo!

The best books I'm reading right now* are (in no particular order):

Nova
New Avengers
Astonishing X-Men
JSA
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight
Star Wars: Dark Times
Immortal Iron Fist

*check the date of this post. I reserve the right to change these opinions when the creative teams change and / or the storylines go south.

Out of those, Immortal Iron Fist is the best. It is everything a comic book should be. Fantastical adventure? check. Pulse-pounding action? check. Good guys that are good and bad guys that are bad? check. Supporting cast? check. solid storylines and art that not only pleases the eye but flows from panel to panel? check. So do yourself a favor and check it out!

I'm amazed that New Avengers is on the list. After the debacle of Avengers: Disassembled I was wary of Bendis doing "Earth's Mightiest Super Heroes". But I bought #26 to see Hawkeye and I kept going to see the post Civil War line-up (which contains a few of my faves). Now I'm onboard. I still think Disassembled and Civil War were the proverbial suck, but I'm glad something good has come from it.

Saying of which, Nova has exploded out of the pages of Annihilation and upholds that series' high standard.

Astonishing X-Men is an X-book that makes sense and Whedon nails the characters. Obviously the same can be said of Buffy.

Star Wars: Dark Times is beautifully illustrated and takes place in the 19 years between the trilogies. Good stuff.

JSA gives me what I want out of super hero books, namely respect for the past while striving confidently into the future. None of the stuff I hated about nineties comics, 'we've got to be deadlier than the villains' crap. Nope, here's a team that knows the right way and the wrong way and is determined that future generations learn the right way. Fair Play indeed!

Honorable mention goes to the current storyline in Daredevil. It's interesting to see the Gladiator back after so long. Hopefully the creative team makes it a memorable event.

Who's the person who wrote the "Korgath of Barbaria" cartoon that ran once on Adult Swim?

Ok, perhaps not as that would be over the top. But I'd like to see Pathfinder / Varisia developed with more "sword & sorcery" tropes than traditional fantasy ones. More Erol Otus type weirdness and less bucolic, pastoral, renaissance type stuff.

That being said here are a few names in no particular order that I'd check out:

Don Bassingthwaite (I enjoyed his novels in the Dark Matter series)
Lisa Smedman (I enjoyed her House of Serpents trilogy)
Peter David (comics writer extraordinaire and accomplished novelist)
Kurt Busiek (comics writer extraordinaire with sword & sorcery experience)
Greg Vaughan (loved his Dungeon adventures and that fact that he made them feel a part of the world he placed them in)
Richard Pett (the Styes is just one of the types of weirdness I'm looking for)

I'm not trying to be sycophantic here but if they weren't too busy putting out Paizo products I'd suggest:

Jason Bulmahn (The Hall of Harsh Reflections & Here There Be Monsters continue the weirdness theme I'm looking for)
James Jacobs (the creator of Scuttlecove, enough said!)
Erik Mona (your love of settings is well known and the way you breathed life into Diamond Lake makes me curious to see you write a novel)

Of the past few years, here are a few of my favorites villains, the issues they appeared in and the adventures therein:

Tyralandi, female half-fiend nymph ranger / thrall of Graz'zt (#95: Porphyry House Horror & #146: Serpents of Scuttlecove)
Wulvera, female halfblood yuan-ti bard / thrall of Demogorgon (#95: Porphyry House Horror)
Maliss, male halfblood yuan-ti ranger (#105: Racing the Snake)
Warduke, male human fighter (#105: Critical Threat)
Syrgaul Tammeraut, male human ghost fighter / sorcerer (#106: Tammeraut's Fate)
Hezzrack, male imp wizard (#119: Unfamiliar Ground)
Mio the Scorpion, female human monk / fighter (#120: The Obsidian Eye)
Mr. Dory, male human corpse creature rogue / cleric (#121: The Styes)
Balabar Smenk, male human rogue (#124: The Whispering Cairn & Age of Worms Overload)
The Faceless One, male human wizard (#125: Three Face of Evil)
Zyrxog, male mind flayer sorcerer (#127: Hall of Harsh Reflections) [I am changing Zyrxog to a psion (telepath) for my game]
Loris Raknian, male human fighter (#128: The Champion's Belt)
Dragotha, male wyrm red dragon dracolich (#134: Into the Wormcrawl Fissure)
Lashonna, female very old vampiric silver dragon (#135: Dawn of a New Age)
Kyuss, male god (#135: Dawn of a New Age)

I've been so consumed with reading, re-reading, and running the Age of Worms campaign that many of the issues after #135 have received only cursory readings. Since Yuan-ti always catch my eye and I've been looking forward to this adventure since it was previewed in the Savage Tide overview, I must include:

The Seventh, female yuan-ti anathema (#146: Serpents of Scuttlecove)

Even though she hasn't appeared in Dungeon but only graced the cover of #121, I also must include:

Iggwilv, Witch Queen of Tsojcanth

Her scholarly works will be one of the many things I miss come the demise of Dragon.

I graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law last year. I take the Missouri bar exam this July. I'm currently working as a legal assistant for a small firm in KC. I'd like to do some intellectual property related stuff (copyright mostly, not patent) or perhaps sports law (which is a mishmash of other areas).

I try not to be a rules lawyer when playing, but I do enjoy playing by the rules if that makes any sense.

Other than Item Cards that share artwork with treasure in the adventure path, what other GameMastery tie-ins can we expect?

As far as the handouts go, will they be part of the .PDFs so that we can print them out instead of damaging our perfect-bound books?
