I think I've played Midnight Mauler already (though it was one of my first adventures in Society), so I could also run it. I've also been thinking to swap out Grandfrogger for another character - Luli, oracle - who has more personality than "blink big red eyes and croak 'Cooperate!'", and this would be an excellent in-story opportunity for that switch.

I haven't used up the wand, but I wasn't certain how to calculate that Concentration check for a wand and I was worried for Zith.

I realized I had swapped out the fly spell in his profile for a cure serious, but hadn’t finished the process by actually updating the profile. XD

The Grandfrogger surveys the room with red eyes and understands what his colleague of the Sleeping Sword has in mind. "Your lessons, remember," he croaks solemnly. "Cooperate!"

The Grandfrogger will certainly make sure folks are in fighting condition - if you need healing and have your own wand, feel free to roll yourself and he’ll activate it on your behalf. If you don’t have a wand, let me know and I’ll use charges from his.

The Grandfrogger isn’t able to react quick enough as the ghosts reposition, but neither can he call upon other spirits for aid while frost encases his tongue.

Cold damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 5) = 16

The spirit above him, meanwhile, continues her barrage of footwear.

If Green is down, the Grandfrogger will need to use a move action to redirect the spiritual weapon to Blue. Otherwise it will continue attacking Green.

The transparent figure above the Grandfrogger pulls another slipper out of her ghostly apron and hurls it at the envious apparition. Below her, the small figure croaks and then lashes out with his tongue around the corner!

The Grandfrogger moves a bit closer to the fray, casting baleful red eyes on the envious phantom attacking Sleeping Sword from the rear. The matronly apparition above him notices and scowls, producing yet another slipper in her translucent hand and hurling it.

The shaman blinks those red eyes for a moment, concentrating. "Cooperate, we must!" he croaks loudly as they open once more. "Your companions, cover! Your training, remember!"

5-ft step, Move action to re-direct spiritual weapon from Red to Green, Standard action to activate Tribal Cooperation to give everyone the benefits of the Escape Route feat for 6 rounds (hoping that'll let our ranged folks reposition without having to tank any AoOs).

Escape Route: An ally who also has this feat provokes no attacks of opportunity for moving through squares adjacent to you or within your space.

"Phantoms, those are. Cutting them, do not bother." The Grandfrogger begins to chant, and yet another ghostly apparition appears above him. This one - an elderly grippli matron - scowls at the red ghost, slips the slipper off her foot, and hurls it at them.

"Some wards against the cold, I have." The Grandfrogger pulls his heavy woolen cloak tighter around his small body as he follows. "But unlimited, it is not. One person, I can protect."

Resist energy will give one person Cold resistance 10. Sadly he can't bump the CL to 7 for twice the resistance. Oh well!

The Grandfrogger’s red eyes narrow for a moment at the strange sound of cackling. Words begin to fall from his thin lips, not staying in any one language for very long before flowing to another. But even if the syllables are unfamiliar, the golden light that surrounds his small body is not.

The Grandfrogger blinks his large red eyes from the corner of the room. When the venture-captain invites the group to investigate the tome, he slowly shuffles forward and clambers onto a chair to better see the table's contents.

I think it's the surprise round still?

The Grandfrogger waits to summon a wall of howling wind, knowing it will hamper the Pathfinder archers as much as their attacker. Instead he begins to chant in the Grippli tongue. Above him, a swirl of cloud and sunlight manifests into a sandal that flies at the archer as if hurled by an unseen hand.

"Assist us, the spirits may." The Grandfrogger looks over the nearby woods with large red eyes. "Bend their trunks to create signs of passage, they might."

The Grandfrogger's decent at Survival (+10) and has warp wood prepared. I could imagine it being used as he's describing here to create false signs of passage - scraped trunks, bent saplings, etc. - or to target small-but-essential parts of boats to render them inoperable (perhaps with some guidance from a professional sailor as to what exactly to warp). He's also got the ability to speak with seagulls - if we can somehow get the birds to identify the Aspis folks, just telling them they've got food under their hats and in their hair might be enough to work a flock into a frenzy. XD

Light gathers around them, swells outward as the pair raise their hands to the heavens, washes over the grass and mud until it reaches the asura, clings tightly to the wicked invader like a second skin of brilliant blue-and-green flame.

The Grandfrogger holds up a torn piece of flatbread in one hand, both signaling Maria to pause a moment and catching the attention of the gulls circling overhead. When one dives to snatch the snack, he pulls it back into the sleeve of his woolen robe. As an angry squall of screaming feathered forms begins to take shape overhead, he screams back in perfect mimicry.

The Grandfrogger watches as Cherry-Blossom-Tender races back and forth across the floor with the energy of a cat possessed by what Hepsubia calls “the zoomies”. When Hugo asks for the group’s opinion, he looks at the blue-skinned man with unblinking red eyes for several seconds.

“Near my tribe’s foraging grounds, we are.” His voice is as dry and cracked as ever, but also colored by an unusual sadness. “Train to become a guardian of the seal, I did. Wish to stay here for the rest of my life… I did not. Left them, I did.” He pauses for another long second before resuming. “Wish to see my tribe again… I am not certain. Wish to help them how I can, I do. Concerns about wrongness of exposing strangers’ wrongdoings, I have none.” The red eyes - not concealed by a heavy woolen cloak this time - shine with an almost feral gleam.

The Grandfrogger pulls out a wand, then washes a hand through the water surrounding him. The ripples and eddies swirl and grow until they surround the small cloaked figure, pushing and pulling at his clothes like a whole village of excited brownies.

Target yourself with the haste @Maria - it doesn't do much for the Grandfrogger since he doesn't make many (if any) attacks.

The Grandfrogger croaks once - a deep, almost warbling sound in the underwater school. "Together, we must work. Guard each other, we will."

Everyone has the Escape Route feat for the next 3 rounds - movement through spaces adjacent to/through an ally will not provoke attacks of opportunity.
