"Well then!" The Carnelian Signet lets the flames die out. "At least we got to get rid of those ghouls." She shrugs. "Looks like Eando has yet another admirer!" Issil spends the trip home thinking about the nightmarish visions Sortoz put in her head. A nightmare she will never allow to come to fruition.
"Try not to kill her, darlings!" The Carnelian Signet leaps to and fro against the disciple who is in way over their head.
"So close... You're going to have to practice harder, my dear!" With a quick spin on her heels, the Carnelian Signet tries to ◆Feint the disciple.
"And if you're going to wear red, be LOUD!" He longsword bursts into flame as she dances about, lashing away to an inaudible tune.
"My dear, have you ever considered cooking your food? Fire goes a long way!"
With her flames and blade ready, The Carnelian Signet grins at the ghoul as the flames wrap her within a purified rage.
She ◆runs up towards the Ghoul, ready to send them to death. But first, that awful smell...
Smells like vengeance as she leaps ahead, flames in her eyes, looking like Hell itself is barreling down to claim the Ghoul's head.
With a haunting laugh, The Carnelian Signet swings at the ghoul in Green.
"I will try, Venture-Captain." Besides it will be fun to remind the Red Mantis we aren't their lapdogs. A rebellious daughter who has big plans but poor foresight? Issil can empathize with that.
I may as well use the non-battle full heal benefit now.
"Good, I can't wait!" The Carnelian Signet grins. "I still have to repay Sotroz for their illusion..."
She drinks one of the minor healing potions.
Then she drinks her own Lesser Healing Potion.
"Thank you for accepting this fool's apology. I pray you won't have to again."
The leader casts a nefarious spell, and The Carnelian Signet's vision dims as smoke fills her eyes. She comes to a rest as her rage gives way. "What? You rescued me?" She pants. "Thank you, I was ambushed by a group of Infernal creatures. I cut their leader down only for a quadruped to heal him. And then an aquatic devil held me in place while the cursed wolf tried to trick me." "Why is everyone looking at me like that?" As the truth becomes clear, The Carnelian Signet gets on her knees and bows to Eltis. "Please accept my apologies, Eltis. I thought... Sortoz's magic was too strong for me." Once the team recovers, Eando Kline gives the Carnelian Signet an excuse to vent out her frustration. "With pleasure." "You wanted to hide, and yet..." With her flaming kinetic aura raised and at the ready, she bats a flame with her sword like a baseball, smashing the small fire ball through the window.
"Playing with your food?" The Carnelian Signet swerves and twirls around all of Mrs. Crinkle's attacks. "You'll regret this!" The tiny leader casting magic on her makes her angrier. "No! I'll never submit!" The aquatic devil keeps her grappled.
"A Kyton?" She sees a malevolent creature wrapped in chains and shadow. "I thought you were removed by those coastal wizards? Or are they just lying?"
The chain whips across her face and she spits flame in disgust.
"Ha! Your leader is down!" The Carnelian Signet grins as the diminutive draconian devil is dealt a deadly blow. She snorts as the infernal quadruped heals him. "Fine. You're next!" But then an older devil giggles her way up and punches her. "Boop? Is this some kind of spell meant to control me?"
"I'll never give up!" She snarls as the aquatic devil gets her hands on her.
Knowing my luck this is when I'll start rolling 20s. ...and there we go. Sorry.
"I'm nothing like you!" The Carnelian Signet's flames blaze. With her longsword already drawn, she scans the rest of the team like they are living sins. "I'll die first before you take my soul! You're not the first and you won't be the last!"
Now, which one's the leader?
She stares at Eltis. With Zenari and Adelmare blocking the path, she has to ◆◆Stride around the wall to reach him, her sword wreathed in fire...
"HA!" She slices into the diabolical leader. "Not so hot now, are you?"
"Oh, the nerve of it all!" The Carnelian Signet stomps her foot, letting her guard down at the worst possible time.
"But... why did you make the devil's butt so large?"
The Carnelian Signet sees her fear made manifest: her butt IS too big! But that strawberry cake was much too tempting... The devil mowing down innocent lives gives her pause. Her family all but sold her soul before she was 10 years, but Grandma's stories gave her pause and a peace of mind enough to clear any contracts with her name on it. It wasn't easy. This would have been the easy way out. Just use the power, take what you want. Who cares if you hurt someone along the way. You're safe, you're strong. Take whatever you need. The thoughts disgust her. "I don't need the money. And if you wanted to keep the Pathfinders out of it, maybe you shouldn't have kidnapped them." "Besides, my reputation is at stake. I can't reject a mission!" She chuckles.
The Carnelian Signet hears Mrs. Crinkle and Zenari and takes their advice with her own spin on things. Flames flare around her to absorb and harmlessly dispel the electric feedback.
"Oh, stop it. Back in order." The Carnelian Signet's hands flare are she bullies the shards into compliance.
"A gingerly chase!" The Carnelian Signet calls as she runs.

3,4,1,2 Mrs. Crinkle should get a Hero Point, she's funny. Unless someone is out of Hero Points. I still have 1.

The Carnelian Signet works twice as quickly to make that prism and make an exit. The stench is horrendous.
Horror of horrors... no one can hear the Carnelian Signet! A shame... With all of this light, she pulls out her Silver Longsword to shield her eyes and realizes she can make a lens if she cuts things in just the right way.
Making jewelry? Maybe she could get into that as a full time job after she retires...
"I like a man with direction. Lead the way, Eltis!"
"Well, now we've done it. We executed a series of Younglings." The Carnelian Signet's flames extinguish in a moment. "They were clearly outmatched..." She sighs. "Reminds of too many in Chileax, trying to punch up above their weight. Order people above their station. Summon devils who toy with them." She shakes her head. "Dreadful." She finally notices her injury. "And one of them managed to hit me!"
"I love your cloaks, darlings!" The Carnelian Signet feels the blade cut through the intense flames and actually nick her. "But you have to put those toothpicks away, before someone gets hurt!" She blows an intensely hot kiss that tries to burn the Younglings wearing Yellow, Black, and Blue. She uses the ◆◆>Flying Flame< infusion, dealing Fire Damage. "For example, my longsword." She points at the Yellow cloak. "Your cloak is going to burn to a crisp, sorry about this."
"...I meant to do that."
The Carnelian Signet Strides down the stairs, longsword and fire ablaze. "I am the Terror that burns in plain sight! I am the Hellfire that awaits you upon Judgement!" "Red Mantis Dispatch! Surrender peacefully or... half of you are dead already." She shrugs. Then she looks at Black-garbed disciple. "Bravery gets you killed, by the by..."
For all of her talk, The Carnelian Signet forgot to actually prepare her swing and is much too slow.
Once the team is ready, The Carnelian Signet prepares to leap down the stairs, longsword and fire ablaze. "I am the Terror that burns in plain sight! I am the Hellfire that awaits you upon Judgement!" "Red Mantis Dispatch! Surrender peacefully or you face... The Carnelian Signet!"
Always ready for a flashy entrance, the Carnelian Signet arrives on the Southeast upper balcony. Longsword ready and Aura Channeled, motes of flame swirl around her. She waits for the signal.
"Good job, Chirper. Zarta will want a name, this will be perfect. It's good to be wanted..." The Carnelian Signet chuckles. She manages not to sigh in boredom as Giovana barks orders to clean up her own mistakes. "Yes, mistress..." Is all she mutters as Giovana leaves. "Let's get this over with. Dispatch or no, I don't like being a cleanup crew. I'd protest if they hadn't started taking contracts to take lives."
"Anyone notice anything?"
So take it however you like, but for PBP a blend of RP and whatever skill check you can make a case to use might be best. Except the Carnelian Signet; she has to use Deception :)
"Oh, we don't have time for this pageantry!" The Carnelian Signet stands up and starts marching towards the mercenaries. "Your superiors sent us to relieve you of your duty. We need to transfer Chirper to a secure location. The ghouls will be here any minute, and they're hungry."
"Now, do you want to become Ghoul feed or will you hand me the keys to Chirper's cell and head to safety?" She taps her foot impatiently. "I'm waaaaaaiting!"
"Oh, it's alright." The Carnelian Signet grunts as Eltis cuts the wrong spot with his scalpel. "This is probably divine payback for my lies backfiring."
"Tiziri? Glad to see you. Sure, we'll find your friends."
The Carnelian Signet finds some dolls, but she's not certain which are dolls and which are alive. "Well well well. We need to get these priceless artifacts out of this dingy shack. The Pathfinder Society would love to clean them and take good care. Much better than these awful guards." She talks out loud to herself before producing a crate. "Well, I'll just leave this here and come back later to pick it up." She closes the door, figuring the dolls will climb into the crate and she'll find the crate conveniently full. "There we are, Tiziri. Let's get you out of here, eh?"
"Well, I don't bite unless you ask nicely." The Carnelian Signet grins before the pain from the bite sinks in and her rage falters. She sighs. "Zarta, do you have a Lesser Healing Potion perchance? These ghouls seem to keep finding weakpoints in my armor..."

"Well, now that I have your attent- HACK!" The Carnelian Signet continues coughing.
Well at least she has regained her bearings. "As I was saying!" She bears a flaming blade onto the Blue-shirted Cadet who just bit into her.
"At least take me on a date before you kiss me, dear."
"Terrible! Such offal!"
Taking a deep breath to blow a kiss was the worst idea she has done in a long time. She reels back, Stunned 1 and Sickened 1.
"Oh my, that horrid statue won't do..." The Carnelian Signet bursts into flame.
The flames release embers orbiting 10 feet around her.

The Carnelian Signet will Stride then use Flying Flame. It will hit Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. If they are not already drawn:
The Carnelian Signet will not Stride, and will Channel Elements. Then she will use Flying Flame. It will hit Red, Blue and Green. Either way, the Carnelian blows a kiss that burns several ghouls. >Flying Flame< deals Fire Damage
"That is one way to do it..." The Carnelian Signet grins. She flips through the folders, trying to discern anything about them. And what about this diary?
"...no idea which is which. Does anyone else want to take a look?"
It's not Deception, but I'm glad it worked.
"Well met, Zarta. A little piece of home is after your head." The Carnelian Signet motions to the contracts. "Hmm, and our host is gone..." The smoke puffs away. "Looks like Nigel got ahold of the last contract." She smirks as Sotroz emerges with their army. "Hopefully that means the prisons have fewer guards." When they enter the room, the Carnelian Signet looks about. "Beautiful taste in furniture. And a locked treasure chest? Don't mind if I do."
