Yeh, you can raise them, but it is hard to get undead with real personalities - ghouls and ghasts are ok, but you need vampires, liches and similar for real party animals. The others, skeletons, zombies and the like really just do not cut it as butlers and maids. They are ok in the fields since any body part that falls off just turns into fertilizer anyway. That's awesome! It goes well with my philosophy! Whenever I think of LE, Darth Vader is the first person who comes to mind due to his strict disciplinary and hierarchical leadership. She would, however, be willing to spare the others if they dropped their weapons, got on their knees, and swore allegiance to the Prince of Darkness. Great. I will go with scribe scroll as my feat then. That way I can have a bunch of scrolls to cover all of the group's divine spell casting needs! By the way, my "channel" ability heals evil creatures and potentially harms good at the same time (they get a save). This will be good for now and possibly later as characters become undead. It doesn't specify living vs undead. I will also pick up an imp companion at 3rd level who will have UMD (for wands) to help with healing as well. ~Jules1 ![]()
![]() Background:
Tatiana's birth was scandolous. Her teenage mother had been raped and left for dead one night near their farm. Fearing the thought of losing face, Natalia's parents sent the young pregnant girl away. Alone, Tatiana went to the only person she thought may help her, a middle aged tenant farmer she worked for during the summer. Jumping at the opportunity to marry a very young and beautiful lady, the peasant married Natalia and soon she gave birth to a beautiful girl. She named her daughter Tatiana after her great grandmother. Tatiana grew up in poverty. Though her life was rather mundane, she was able to attend a local school. She spent the rest of her time helping around the farm. One day things changed. She was washing her hair when she cut her finger on something sharp in her scalp. She immediately went to her mom and showed her. To her surprise, two small bony points protruded slightly from her scalp. As weeks progressed, so did the spikes. Unable to explain what was happening, her parents had her hide them at all times. Soon, a small tail-like piece of skin developed from her sacral area as well. Within a year, she had grown a one inch set of horns. Tatiana did the best she could to hide them, but one day her masquerade ended abruptly. She had been playing catch with some boys at school when one of the boys grabbed her hat to tease her. Unfortunately, her hair was parted and the horns were visible. The boys ran in fear and told their parents what they had seen. Within hours, local inquisitors showed up at the farm and took the girl and her mother. Convicted of witchcraft, her mother was burned at the stake. Tatiana's horns were surgically removed and she was sent to an orphanage run by the church of Mitra. The priests felt that it was not the young girl's fault her mother had been a heretic and gave her a second chance. She was treated poorly at the orphanage. The house mother verbal and physically abused the girl, often calling her the bastard daughter of a witch. She would be sent daily to the temple to wash the floors and clean the sacred worship utensils. Being forced to learn Mitra's code and often overhearing hypocritical conversations between laymen, she was turned away from her native faith. She began to act out in rebellion. Stiffer punishment only strengthened the girl's resolve. It wasn't long before the girl was thrown out of the orphanage. Now only sixteen, she learned to fend for herself on the streets. This often meant selling herself secretly to men, many of which were the same priests who acted so holy in the temple. She loathed everyone and everything she knew. It was then, when Tatiana hit rock bottom, that she had a strange encounter with a raven. For a few days, she had been living in an alley. She was hungry and sick. A raven began bringing her food. It stayed with her for several days. Finally, it continuously pecked her and hopped down the alley until she mustered the strength to follow it. With barely enough strength to walk, she pursued it for several blocks as it would wait patiently for her to catch up. It finally led her into the woods and to a man in dark robes. The man was a priest of the god Asmodeus. He took Tatiana to his cabin in the woods to nurse her to health. When she was well enough, Tatiana traveled blindfolded with the man to a distant location where inside an old crypt a group of Asmodean priests and antipaladins trained her. Now well trained in martial warfare and evil magic, she is traveling to learn about her first assignment. Though it is a meager start, she is driven to make everyone pay for the pain they caused her and her mother. GM:
My archtype gets an imp familiar at L3. I thought I could introduce him disguised as a raven for now. Ultimately, he would probably make a great RPing familiar for me and you should I be accepted. Plan:
Tatiana is now a loyal follower of the Lord of Darkness. She has made it her life's mission to crush the Church of Mitra and punish all the hypocrites who caused her so much pain. Eventually, she would like to establish the church of Asmodeus to its rightful place over Taligarde, maybe even be the Head Priestess of the capital. She must start somewhere though. Background: It is just me and you sis. Like usual. Nobody loves you but me. How many times had she heard these words. Painful words, but words of comfort as well. She would have been lost without her. She is her all. Her Sweet Sash! Tatiana was born a peasant girl. Life was hard for her family. Her father worked the local farmer lands and provided whatever material means he could. Her mother did her best to take care of their tiny shack, which was difficult in the mental state she was in. People told Tatiana that her parents had once been in love and had enjoyed life. That was until the day the mists took their oldest daughter. Tatiana was too young to remember much before her older sister, Sasha, disappeared. Her few memories of "a happy time" where clouded by the reality of life after Sasha's disappearance. After Sasha left, Tatiana was left with parents who had grown emotionally detached. Her father went to work and only came home to drink. Her mother slept most of the time and wandered the woods in her waking hours. No one seemed to care about Tatiana. Tatiana did her best to take care of the house. It was never good enough though. "Why can't you be more like Sasha was?" She yearned to receive the approval of her parents or at least someone. She spent most of her early childhood striving to bring happiness back to her family. One day, everything changed! Tatiana had been sleeping and she heard her sister's voice calling outside. Tatiana, barefoot and in her nightgown, walked out into the dark night. Sashsa's voice hailed her from the woods. Tatiana hurried toward the misty darkness. That is when she saw her! She was sitting by a tree with arms outstretched reaching out for her. Tatiana my love. I have missed you. Come to me. She ran and picked her sister up and held her for hours. The next morning they returned to her house. Unexpectedly, her parents were not pleased Sweet Sasha had returned. They ignored her. It didn't matter. Tatiana had someone who loved her. Eventually things got so bad that Sasha told Tatiana it was time to leave. Life on the street was hard, but not nearly as bad as it had been at home without her sister. Through her teen years, Tatiana provided for her and her sister. She took up with a group of Gypsies and was taught to read fortunes. This opened up a way to provide financially for her and her sister. Over the past few years, misfortune seemed to follow The two though. Bad things happened to those around them. Tatiana did her best to comfort the people, but Sasha seemed to get angrier and angrier at anyone who showed Tatiana affection. Sasha taught Tatiana many skills. She told her of books to read and ways to manipulate the environment. She even taught Tatiana how to animate a dead rat to be their pet. Today, Tatiana is in Levkarest for the first day of the festival. Sasha knew it would be a perfect place to make some money since there would be some many visitors. Tatiana is a female human in her early twenties. She has cotton colored hair, black eyes, and ruby red lips. She seeks to belong. She is very pleasant to encounter, but has a terrible temper, especially when Sasha is not happy. She has learned that most people do not take notice of her sister Sashsa so peer pressure and social norms have forced her to speak to her secretly. She has recently discovered new powers and would like to continue to see them grow. Sign in to create or edit a product review. |
