I am highly interested!! This is my PFS character I am almost to level 2 with -- you can use to check my posting history with for PFS. I would love to play a dwarf monk or alchemist. Monk if there is no party tank--alchemist otherwise. Given the new AP, my already huge love for dwarves is increasing.
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley swings at the farthest gamblers and moves clockwise. He finishes with the one next to him. Glaive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley is quite charming, and wants to make up for breaking the bottles as he approaches the dwarf. "I am a paladin of law and a fan of Torag, may your beard grow ever long. We need information to help out the law." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley dodges the first glaive attack with the training from his mentor Deerslayer +1 Defense DC , but the second hits him squarely. Then his mentor Deerslayer helps him resist the harm a bit. -6 hp total 25/35hp currently Fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20 "Kidron, 15 feet ahead and five feet right now." Studley steps next to Sedrick and punches twice.
step strike strike
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley remembers bleeding on the ground after his last reckless charge. This time he is much more cautious. He strides into ten feet of the creature with the polearm, and he had studied polearm tactics for years as his preferred weapon. Then he steps carefully to avoid any counterstike shenanigans to within punching range with a graceful twirling step (at least it seemed graceful to the brutish orc). Then he hauls off and decks the orc with his fist.
"Who's your daddy??" he says to the front undead warrior.
Stride, step, strike
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Thanks for the explanation. Love this campaign, although the resistance is hurting a character who doesnt have the spare gold to get lots of different weapons, but the mailed gauntlet is the old bashing weapon of choice for me. And I keep forgetting chain stops 4 damage from crits, a good thing to remember.
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
The orc strides to a spot between the two skeletons and beats on them with his mailed fists. He pounds on the red skeleton first, but will move to the other one when he is down. Stride (provoke if AOO), strike, strike red is flatfooted on strikes
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley watches the skeleton take two of his best shots. Then he takes a nasty shot to hit chest. "Oof, redeem that skeleton Kidron. He needs another shot." Crit = 22 - 4-8 chain 10 damage Now at 25/35 After the sound of ribs cracking he spits up some blood. "I am still in for now!!"
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley steps up with his polearm next to Kidron and heaves mightily at the skeleton.
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
"The beauty and grace of Shelyn has convinced the spirit!! Deerslicer, we gonna start fitting you for a Shelyn holy symbol now?? You gotta believe in the beauty of weapons clashing and the sweet sound of weapon that hits the sweet spot when you need it!! It is the power of Shelyn that heals the nasty trauma in your little green head!!" Studley sees beauty in many things, even combat.
Male Orc champ 1 | Per +4| AC 17| hp 23/23 | Saves F+7, R+5, W+6 | Focus 2/2 | Hero Pts 1
Studley tries to resist the next bout of dark magic. Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 "Ooh the didn't hurt, but lets get our greenskin A$$e$ out of here my goblin friend."

Hey All wondering if someone might help. So I have hero lab and I have created a demoniac who is a following MazMezz, now everything works well until I get to domains and I choose Animal as that is one of the domains for Mazmess thinking I can get the character a spider as an Animal companion... here is the problem spider is not a choice, do I need to buy an extra data package? Because honestly I was going to create the animal companion using the editor ... only it seemed very time intesive and was not all that user friendly for me. Any thoughts?
Hello All, Thank you for sending me Dragon: Monster Ecologies I love it. One slight problem with my order I recieved a GameMastery Map Pack: only it was a Caravans print edition not Caverns print edition I ordered. What should I do? Sorry it has been a little bit but I was away on vacation and did not have good access to the internet. Sincerely, Allan
I know this is a dying question most people have been asking themselves. Like Charles Scholz for one, A Doodlebug Anklebiter or his other persona Leafear the Lost. People like Patrick Curtain and Aberzombie and others may already be aware of my awesome nature and possibly why that is. But being so awesome I thought I would start this thread so you could ask me yourself instead of bothering those other people. So go ahead ask away.
I am thinking of using a Chuul in a current campaing I am running. But wanted to get a little feedback in what people think of them overall as a monster. The party consists of 3 8th level characters sorceress, paladin and rogue. I thinking of adding an NPC cleric to the group the last one they had died. I liked the look of the creature but I am concerned 2 maybe be a little too much for them to handle. They are very inconsistent in battles sometimes they kick butt on creatures I send they're way expecting it to be hard and other times they get crushed by wandering monsters. As an addtional cavaet this group consists of my neice and newphew and sister. So I am not about doing a TPK here.
Anyone else out there have a love for scotch like myself? If so mention some brands which make you smile and lift the stresses of the day when you smell and have that first wonder sip. Also how do you take your scotch? I take mine with one large ice cube. Favorite brands: Glenmorangie, Edradour, Abelour and I actually like the Glenlivet on occasion as well I have had the Japanese scotch which right now is escaping my memory. But stop in an tell me and others what sort of scotch you like and why and how you take your scotch.
I read this article in the NY Times; and I was sort of pissed. (see the link) http://tv.nytimes.com/2011/04/15/arts/television/game-of-thrones-begins-sun day-on-hbo-review.html I mean I know there are certianly women who don't like fantasy and there are men who don't like fanatasy. But to say that no woman is going to like Game of Thrones because it is about fantasy? I have to think this journalist/hack is not living in our current times. but please tell me if I am off base here. Granted this is a not the best website to go to get an unbiased view, still it seems like she is really off base here.
I just went and puchased Elemental yesterday and started playing. But there does not seem to be alot of information on the game in the book. I checked out forums a little bit and there are some people who like it. But I gather from reviews and the like out there that the game has issues that need to be sorted out in patches. Did the new patch resolve much? I mostly single player against the computer so I don't worry about the multiplayer aspect. Also does anyone know where to get a clear idea on the technologies there does not seem to be a set tree out there.
I am running a campaign and I decided to use the Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale in my own Homebrew campaign. The issue I ran into is some of the challenges are falling a little flat my group is having too easy of a time with this. Most of it is my own fault as I added some set battles and the party is now a little more more powerful than they should be. I don't want to completely change things but I am not sure the fire drakes are going to cut it when it comes to that battle where they attack the Fort Thorn. I would like to have something that is not a red dragon but perhaps another surprise which is fire based as well as chaotic. I have changed the villian at the end to be a wizard and tied in with a religion based on fire, choas and evil. Any suggestions? Characters are 7th level right now and finished with beating the wraiths. I have beefed up the spiders conflict some but I am worried about the fire drakes not being enough as well I am not too excitied about them.
This may not be the right place to talk about this but I was wondering I thought I remembered reading or perhaps imagining that I read there was going to be a class, prestiage or otherwise called a Chelish Infernal Binder. Was that going to be in the Pathfinder Player Companion: Inner Sea Primer ? Just wanted to check.
Hello, I wanted to check on the status of my order. I have noticed I recieved the preorder e-mail the previous week yet this last week I have not recieved the notice that the order has been sent out. Hello, I just wanted to check in I got my e-mail stating that I should be getting my charge and subscribtions coming the follwoing week. Yet that was two weeks ago. So I wqas expecting to hear something last week. I noticed a few others on the message boards had simuliar concerns. So I thought i would check in to make sure I was not over looked I understand you had Paizocon just last week so things happen. Just wanted to check in and see what the story was. I was looking through the recent release of the Pathfinder 18 and I noticed an inconsistancy. At the Shrine of Bound Earth in room E2 it mentions that Denrelwe casts Gentle Repose; daily on the bodies of the dead drow. (by the way love the idea.) The one issue I see is that later page 12 when it goes over her school of prohibited schools it mentions necromancy which contradicts the whole neat concept you have going there. Though I did notice the list of spells she has none are of the Necromancy School. So not sure if you want to add a minion whom is capable of casting that necromancy spell or change her prohibited spell list or something of that sort. Unless of course she is using the limited wish spell she has to cast the Gentle Respose spell but it did not seem clear if that was the case. Just thought I would bring it up I found it a little confusing if that was the case. |
