Thanks everyone, that was fun!

Sok follows the others out of the building. At the briefing afterwards he mostly stays quiet, preferring to stand against the wall and listen while he absent-mindedly folds a small square of paper. When the briefing is done, he tips his cap to you all and walks out of the room, pausing only to place an intricately-folded rabbit on the arm of Naysha's chair.

Sok do you still have your reroll to use on your day job?

Sok considers his options for damaging the golem, rejecting them one by one as infeasible. Instead, he decides that medical support is his best option here. He draws his wand of cure light wounds and attempts to activate it on Syllyn.

Cure light wounds on Syllyn: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Seeing Ruslo heading for the flanking spot, Sok changes tactics. He draws a heavy leather bag and hurls over his allies shoulders, aiming for the center of the golem's torso. 5ft step, draw tanglefoot bag, throw.

Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

He just misses the opening, however, the sticky substance splattering across the wall next to the squeezing golem.

Sok takes a moment to carefully study the golem, see how it moves and extrapolating weak points. He then quickly ducks to the other side of the hall, ready to double around behind.

Studied Combat, single move.

Hearing the commotion from the hall, the investigator moves out to investigate. Double move.

Sok follows Ruslo to help flood the chamber.

Probably no practical way of switching the runes without setting them off, it was just an idle thought.

Sok tries to activate his wand on Ruslo as he muses. "It's small mischief, but what about trying to switch or disguise the runes on the chests?"

Sok picks himself up from the far wall where he landed, patting out the smoldering flaps of his coat. "Ow. Ok then, maybe we just leave the rest of these alone." He draws his wand of healing and tries to activate it on himself.

Sok's modifier is +15, so he'll take the lead. He will also spend a minute to mix and consume an extract of Aram Zey's focus. It won't give him a bonus on the disable, but will allow him a reroll to avoid setting off the traps, should he fail.

Sok ponders as his fingers absenmindedly fold a square of paper into a simplified version of the statue.

Sok looks over the statue and surrounding area, trying to determine what would trigger it to move.

Perception: 1d20 + 11 + 1d6 ⇒ (20) + 11 + (6) = 37 <--+2 for traps.

"We were worried about someone walking in while we fiddled with the chests, and that's just as true with the curtain as it was with the door. I vote curtain."

Sok contemplates for a moment, trying to remember what he knows of the blue woman.

Knowledge (any): 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 8 + (5) = 19 <-- +2 if it's Knowledge (local).

Sok follows along as well. "Another time, then." Sok and Ruslo (at least) both have Trapfinding, so we can disarm magical traps. I'm happy to let them wait for later, though.

Are they done with the chests? They discovered the trap, but haven't disabled them.

"Do we want to take the time to get those chests open? Or push forward?" Sok is willing to take a crack at them, if you'd like.

"Ah, now isn't this interesting? A back door into the tapestry? One suspects master Zey might be interested to hear of such a thing."

Sok withdraws his own wand, tapping himself before staring at the wand contained within the note. Casting identify, then trying to identify the wand.

Sok follows his allies into the room, examining the far door for traps while Ruslo checks the chests.

Sok watches this exchange, then just shakes his head. Must be something in the air at their height...

Sok looks at Ruslo with a smirk. "Did you miss the bit about poison gas, or just getting into the spirit of the role?"

Sok closes the door again quickly, holding his breath until he gets clear. "Carbauxine gas. Poisonous. Though there is a strand of prayer beads in there. Could tell us something."

"I suspect we're going through the curtain here, but may as well check everything else first. Don't want something sneaking up behind us." Sok moves to the eastern door, inspecting it for traps before opening it (if he finds it safe).

Sok moves back and examines the dolls. "Creepy."

Sok moves quietly up to the far side of the tables, peering cautiously around the northern corner.

Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

"Hm. Seems safe enough. Let's see if we can't get this thing open."

Disable Device: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34

"Wait! We've already seen one particularly nasty trap. Let us proceed with caution." Sok moves up to inspect the door for traps before Fuzzzy opens it.

"Basilisks! Don't look at them!"

Sorry, long day yesterday and Ruslo beat me to the post. If we think it can be disarmed and Ruslo didn't get it, then Sok will give it a go. He also has Trapfinding, so can Disable magical traps. If we don't think it can be disabled, then send in the frogs.

Sok pauses his origami long enough to hold up his hand. "Hold. That glyph does something, though I'm not sure what. Would one of you more magically-inclined folk please examine it before anyone crosses over it?"

"Allow me to examine it first, please."

"I'll hold on to it. I suppose a mount in a pinch isn't the worst thing to have on hand." Sok will take it if no one else wants it.

"Anyway, nowhere to go but down, right? Are we ready to lift the hatch?"

"Ah, of course! We can activate this figurine to create servitor frogs, or even for battle companions in a pinch. I suppose someone of my size could even use it as a mount, if needed."

"Hrm. There's a trap door here" Sok says, pointing to a spot on the floor with his cane.

"Hm. Let me see that for a moment." Sok draws a wand from his side and taps himself with it. Attempting to activate a wand of identify.

UMD to activate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Frowning when it doesn't work, he taps himself again.

This time, a flash of light is visible in his eyes, and he examines the frog.

Spellcraft to identify, identify, free inspiration: 1d20 + 8 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 10 + (6) = 33

"Hm. Got what they deserved for meddling with things they didn't understand, hm?" Sok absentmindedly begins folding a piece of paper while looking around the room. As he passes by, he hands an intricately-folded figure of a bunyip to Niana.

Sok follows Lady Naysha up toward the screaming.

Sok keeps pace with Aglynn, running back into the room.

Silt follows, right beside her!

Sok, hot on Aglynn's heals, has a similar realization at the same time. Also last round of panicked.

Sok, too, continues to flee. Panicked 2/3.

Will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Hearing the bunyip's cry, something primal shudders in the back of Sok's mind. He drops his can and takes off running out of the room!

Sok is unconcerned by the creatures as he shuts out the emotions inspired by Syllyn, focusing instead on pure intellectual focus. He studies the creature carefully, finding weak points before attacking with precise strokes. Move action to study the creature before him.

What kind of check is it to identify these creatures?

Sok steps to the corner, sword in hand, intending to peak around, only to be confronted by some sort of ]creature. While he wracks his brain trying to remember what he knows about them (he will share whatever he knows from that identify check), he pulls on the handle of his cane to reveal a dark metal blade before stabbing it at the approaching creature! 5ft step, move action to draw blade, standard to attack.

Lock is DC 40 to open it.

Oof. Sok can mix up an extract of Aram Zey's focus and get to the point where he has a *chance* at opening that, but it's probably not worth the risk of damaging the case unless we think we need it open for some reason.

Sok quickly quaffs his extract of shield, then follows as well.
