the situation is somewhat salvaged my the lure of Sir pounces soft, furry and inviting tummy and its innate attraction to kids.

Some of these little 2 legs gave excellent tummy rubs! They must be preserved! They are almost honoary 4 legs like the occassionally 4 legs whom I have as a cohort! Sir Pounce seems were energetic about saving the kids!

Quite energizing! Sir Pounce indicates by jumping up and down like a very very energetic kitten, giving Odelai a bit of a jump scare in the process.
Unfortunately my somewhat tolerable honorary near-cat is about as patient as a Spider, who has consumed the dust of dreams through her nose and who had then partaken in the energizing drink of midnights blackness. Sir Pounces communicates by sniffing in a straight line, before making an energetic drinking motion.
Many things can go wrong, which is why it is much better to POUNCE! But I cant actually do that yet, egads! The eponymous big cat indicates with a particularly articulate combination of tailflip of purr.
