Frowning he turns to Agatha, "Dru would be grateful for a healers touch I'm sure. Does anyone know what to do about this damn sap?"

Sildur lets the scimitar be pulled from his hand as the frost fir collapses. Turning towards the two still remaining he leaps over the fallen tree with a roar. Shield raised, the ulfen moves into the still inanimate trees and moves to flank the frost fir attacking Thorn and drawing one of the shortspears from his back as he goes. Once in position, he ducks a swinging branch and thrusts savagely.

Round 1

Shaking off his surprise, Sildur curses himself for reacting slower than his companions. With both nearby skeletons already down he point to the last of the undead abominations, "Dru, flank!"

For his own part, the ulfen lets the sling fall from his hand. Rushing to back up Urga, Sildur draws his scimitar from it's scabbard and brings it down in a vicious slash at the tree creature engaging the half-orc.

Sildur frowns as he reads the journal, passing it to Thorn he holds his tongue until the other man has finished, "Indeed. If this large beast is indeed a weasel it will not be an easy hunt, wounded or no. I can only assume the trees have something to do with the fey. The talking doll stinks of their lot as well...though perhaps not the same as the ones we are seeking."

Taking the journal gently, Sildur flips to the last pages and reads carefully, hoping to find something to indicate what sort of beast Dryden had been hunting?

The ulfen sighs a little at Sturion's caution but helps with the rope all the same. Better safe than sorry. Dwarves are rather...dense.

He looks around at the landscape on this side of the bridge, "Be wary. If that was Izoze I believe there was mention of a troll in his service. It cannot be too far. Remember your alchemist's fire."

Sildur cries out in agony as Izoze's magic rips through his flesh. Drawing himself around the flames in his fist, he snarls at the creature, "You can match blows with me all you want monster...but I did not come alone."

The ulfen hurls the last of his fire at the icy creature.

Sildur slips his sling back into his belt, speaking to Thorn over his shoulder, his eyes never leaving the floating form of Izoze, "Conventional weapons be damned! This creature requires a more primal approach..."

Drawing his hand towards him, a small flame appears in the druid's palm. The small fire seems to suck in air from around itself, growing in intensity until Sildur clutches a raging inferno in his fist, "The first fire shall consume you Izoze! You were warned!"

Hauling back his first, Sildur hurls the roaring flame at Izoze another appearing in his fist as he draws it back once more.

Sildur :

Standard Action : Cast Produce Flame and hurl it at Izoze, 1 min remaining.

Edit : I realize we don't have an init for Dru yet. Should I roll one or would you prefer to have him act on my init? It tends to vary between GM's.

Is that right? It was a while ago but from what I understood, it seemed about the same distance to Izoze from the lodge as from the Heldren to the Lodge, yes?

Sildur seems emboldened by the night's rest and the brisk winter air, despite the unnatural bent to it. He moves with purpose as the group returns to the Sentinel's Lodge.

When they near the remains of the former bandit's campfire on the road, the ulfen moves up to walk alongside Thorn at little ahead of the party, "Is something troubling you Thorn? We head into great danger it is true but I feel there is more to your concern?"

I'd say we grab 5 cold iron weapon blanches for 100gp even, Sound good?

I'm assuming a set of barding for Dru will cost the usual double standard? 20gp in this case?

Sildur pays Isker for the commission and sparing a quick pet for Dru heads out to find the others so they might get underway.

I agree about grabbing all the healing available. I'd say 4 weapon blanches should be reasonably sufficient if that many are available?

Sildur steps into the smithy with Dru close at his heels, "Good day Isker. We've come to see if you've got anything new since we last saw you? I believe our swordsman Rikael is looking for something in the way of a well made cold iron longsword."

After seeing the other wears laid out, the ulfen pulls the blacksmith aside, "I was actually hoping to talk to you about a rather special project. Tracking these fey, we've seen more danger than I'm keen on...", he looks at Dru beside him, "Dru's as fearless a companion as a man could ever hope for but I worry about him. I was wondering if you might be keen to take on a commission? The armor I wear is sturdy enough and hold's to the tenants of my order. I know wood might be a little out of your comfort zone but I wondered if you might be willing to craft a similar set for the young bear? I'm willing to pay upfront as there is no guarantee we'll make it through what's to come but if we do I'm sure Dru will have more than earned it. What do you say?"

Yeah, I'd of course rather have Deuce at the helm as he conceived of this campaign with a plan to take it in his own direction as per the mythic options.

If we can't get Deuce back though, I would be happy to have you take over chillblame. I think Agatha could work quite well as an NPC.

I'm not certain we'll need all that cold weather gear, I think most of the party has their own and I'm planning to get the bear rug turned into a good set. I really don't think Argentea is going to be interested in keep it. Speaking of which I'd better find someone to do that.

The tents might not be a bad idea but Sildur isn't a big fan of them. Rather sleep under the stars.

The only thing I'd really want personally is a couple of those Alchemist's Fires. We should probably all take two.

I think Thorn will want the thieves' tools though as he has disable device.
