Quote: Spend all your Hero Points (minimum 1) to avoid death. You can do this when your dying condition would increase. You lose the dying condition entirely and stabilize with 0 Hit Points. You don’t gain the wounded condition or increase its value from losing the dying condition in this way, but if you already had that condition, you don’t lose it or decrease its value. here's the rule of using hero points to avoid dying so (if the GM allows) you would go from dying to wounded
Quote: Sha'ir I am going to have to stick with only the three books I have for class abilities. I have to stick to my guns on this one. If I let one person do something out of what is available I will have to let others. Thanks for your interest. I look forward to seeing you dwarf druid. No problem! I'll go for the cave subdomain from APG.

But instead of getting charred, they get homicidal. I am wondering how to play a CN Drow. I'm not seeing mine as omnicidal but he's definitely kind of like Phoebe from Friends, the way that she was a bubbly effervescent cloud cuckoolander but would suddenly reference a dark traumatic past in the most cheerful way possible.

That sound beckoned! The buzzing was further into the orchard. It could be a path to danger but what was his responsibility? To lead the others away from said danger or help them confront it? "Desna teaches us that often the only way is forward," said Calvus. "Let's go!"

"Yes yes! On my way," said Calvus trying his best to be patient. Gnomes were an exuberant lot, and possessed of almost obsessive focus. Calvus reminded himself that those qualities would be helpful in finding who poisoned the bard.

Atrios casts a sympathetic glance at Miles. In his own reality, Miles had confided his past trauma. That he never had a chance to heal from it was an extra layer of to the tragedy of his death. "Ah, let me explain," he said "I didn't do this. I'm not even sure what this is. I am Atrios. But from another reality. For whatever reason, of all the possible versions of us, we have been in contact. I think maybe a higher power has given us a chance to switch places," Were they doing the right thing? He remembered seeing the rift open, feeling it open. What else could he do but go in? Impulsiveness was a multiversal constant in all versions of Atrios. "Atrios," he put his arm around his other self brushing aside stray lock of hair. "It's time. Don't worry, my friends will take good care of you and I'll be in touch. Our connection should still hold. if not I'll find a way to contact you." He looked at the rift. It was ever so slightly smaller than a moment ago. As a reality-warper, he could sense that the rift would close soon. "Quickly Atrios!" he cautioned There cannot be two of us in the same reality for too long,"
Psychological Profile: Bandizyr Rogar Clinician: Daen Thrune Specialist Rogar admits to an extra-legal past and displays what can only be described as"moral fluidity". While he claims to be committed to liberating Suskillion from the Swarm, he is clearly motivated by revenge for the destruction of his ship and fear for his own life if the Swarm were to prevail. Cognitive assessment:
Ability to work with others:
Conclusion:
Specialist Bandizyr Rogar is a Half-Orc Space Pirate Mechanic with a Stealth drone named Penumbra-4. Like many of his kind, he's a little younger than he looks with skin more on the grey-ish end of the grey-green spectrum. Penumbra 4 is a small quadruped shaped like a large cat. On a Starship, Badizyr is good anywhere but the Captain's Chair. Of all the places to get stranded, it had to be on this doomed planet during an invasion by the Swarm! The! Swarm! Those damn bugs attacked my ship and it is beyond repair. It wasn't much but that little box was my home! I couldn't even save Penumbra-3. So, I ... 'acquired' enough UPBs to create Penumbra-4. Contemplating my situation, I've come to one conclusion: the only way out is to fight the Swarm. I'm no fool, even if I could get a ship, there's no running from this. The bugs need to be fought and this 5th Battalion could use my know-how and Penumbra-4's stealthiness.

Atrios casts holographic image 1, not worrying about the lack of sound since the music is so loud. He portrays a halfling in rough stationwear in sight of the big guy and the security staff. The holographic figure visibly panics and makes a desperate run for it, running out of the club. If anyone tries to grab the holo-halfling, he just tumbles his way through as Miles is doing.

Are they really going to shoot this out? There are only the five of them versus two gangs. Atrios finds this situation so familiar. He had daydreamed this once! But how did it go? What did he do? Atrios sees Miles run off after one of the shooters. Brave but foolish. He needs help. Atrios provides covering fire for Miles against the same enemy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

DEVOTIONAL MUSIC:

MUSIC :
ADVANCED TALENTS:
There have been suggestions in other threads that Bards should get options depending on the kinds of performers they are i.e., Bards who are trained a certain way would get certain abilities. I think that the rogue talent mechanic would be the best way to articulate this. BARD TALENTS:
Obviously talents requiring a perform check will need a fairly high DC. While rogues get ten talents over all, Bards might be limited to 5. I'm thinking one every four levels. This way, Bards have the opportunity to truly be the jack of all trades. It will also allow for tonnes of customization with no loss of flavour. It also keeps the perform skill from being pointless. |
